Normally I love this place. Haven't eaten in at this location, but always order for delivery. However, last night I had a horrible experience with them. Ordered a pizza and french fries for delivery. When I received the pizza it had slid and was about 1/4 the size (it was originally a jumbo pizza). I called and their excuse was they go new delivery bags and the boxes slide. They did say they would send me out a new order ASAP. However, ASAP was 1 hour and 10 minutes later (it only took 50 minutes to get my original order). So have to say...that their has been a comment/review about a waitress spitting in the food this is very untrue. Myself and very many will agree to this. It was a joke among some friends and if you knew Jill she was just joking and she would never do anything like that ever! So don't believe that review that says otherwise. She is very good at her job and wouldn't do anything of that such. Me and my aunt went for Tuesday night bingo and sat for at least 4 games before a waitress came to ask us if we needed a menu. We weren't dining so there was no need for one, the waitress didn't even offer us drinks. Not even water. So we proceeded to go to the bar and order the drinks since the waitress didn't bother to serve us any drinks. It isn't good customer service to skip over customers. read more

WARNING! Dine with caution. There was an issue with the total bill on 1/2 price pizza night. The waitress, Jackie, had a major attitude problem with a few examples of eye rolling, arguing, no respect and rudeness. She even had the audacity to put gratuity on our bill at 25%. Mind you that our party was of four, two of them being toddlers. She states that "the computer added the gratuity and she can do nothing about that", that's why it was written in her handwriting. No where on the menu does it speak of gratuity. Management wasn't cooperative either with dealing with this issue and was just as argumentative as Jackie. And to top it all off ... Went there tonight to watch Notre Dame/Florida St... Every worker there except the lovely main bartender was so rude about putting it on a TV and God forbid getting volume! Horrible!!! When I say horrible I mean on the scale from 1- 10, it would be a 2. I've seen this place at its glory and to be honest, Their not like they use to be. Today on October 18th @ 11 pm me and a friend showed up and sat at the bar. Note: the first bar you see! This place has two bars, one for the people walking in expecting a normal experience and the second one for the smokers which is located in the rear of the building. I give it to them, having two separate bars is a genius idea but the fact of the matter is: me and my friend literally sat there for 30 mins at the first bar. Not even being acknowledged! At one point the bar tender spoke to a couple rite behind us and ask if they were ok or wanted anymore drinks!!! Then she looked at us and walked away never asking if we were served or what we wanted or anything! So stay away from this place! Follow my list of do nots: do not go here, it smells and it's on it's last leg, if ur looking for women don't even go bro! They ladies are else where. I come here at least twice a week when I'm in town on business. The pizza is amazing and the beer is cheap! Service is quick and the staff always have a smile on there face. There is a patio out front and an open bar area in the back. In case your in the mood to play some slots, they have those too! Great place eat and relax at! read more

I'm horrified. It is impossible to receive good service at this establishment. They only take care of the regulars. They will literally stop making your drink to go talk to regulars and take care of them. In fact, the regulars are part of the problem. I was insulted by several of them and received dirty looks the entire time I was there. The staff are rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional. Don't mind the mess as they are repainting some walls! As soon as I walked in it was a strong stench of smoke! The stuffed pizza is decent (Half price on Mondays) but another layer of sauce after the pizza came out of the oven would've been nice, and it wouldn't have been as dry! Had the bbq ribs, they tasted old and reheated, I didn't eat many. My friend had the bbq chicken, same thing, rather iffy. Besides that the sauce itself was salty. For a change our service was good, the prices are reasonable, but the food was bad so there is no value in that. Second Durbin's I've been to in a row that was bad. I will never go back to Durbins in Midlothian. The parking sux and anywhere else you park you will get towed within 1hr. The tow company watches the lots and knows the issues with Durbins parking issues ~ having 35 parking spaces but a human capacity of 200... does not add up on a busy Sat night w/games on. Durbins is aware of their parking issue (so does tow company) becuz they have their staff go around to tables advising customers where alternate parking is (at Krispy or Bank) - but no signs in the entire facility offering alternate parking when you and your date ARRIVE at the facility.. - - - unless the staff tells you or you already have had the experience with the horrible parking - it's way too late - your vehicle has been towed!!! THAT PLACE SUX !!! NEVER WILL GO BACK AND WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW THAT DURBINS SUX !!!! read more

Use to go here every Saturday for Notre Dame Games with my Brother but the service from any of these Bar Tenders except the one Guy we had on a Monday Night he's great but the women bar tenders are terrible. The leave your glass empty for long period of times and my wife came up there asked for a menu never got one then I had to ask for her and still took time to get one and the funny part is there's no one in the joint. Well, I wrote one review and some how it was deleted?? hummm sounds like a computer problem just like the one they had in the restaurant with the waitress adding 25% for a TIP! onto our bill that was for 4 people , two being small children. That is what the waitress said the computer did automatic and she couldn't do anything about it. Rude and totally inconsiderate. The management would not even budge on refunding our tip, said we needed a copy of our bill, even tho it was paid by credit card! Really!! they can pull all of that info on the register for the nite, however the management was just as rude as the help............so00000 you live and learn something new everyday,...... today I learned NEVER eat at Durbin's again as they have registers that add a TIP to your bill and tell you to your face that they can't do anything about it. !! Wish I could give 0 stars, but it won't let me. Ordered a pizza, the lady that took my order (later to find out she's a carry out manager some how) has a very rude attitude and does things "her way or the highway". I don't know if she's eaten too much of the horrible food or what, but the "not so small" manager needs an attitude adjustment. My pizza was burned to where my kids didn't even want to eat it, and my wife almost threw up. When I called and asked for it to be replaced. She (manager) said the kitchen was closed. I have to say that I have always gotten great lake perch here as well as different dishes. I'm very disappointed to say that I will not be going back to this Durbin's due to the fact that the SERVICE SUCKS!!!!! My husband and I went to Durbin's on a late weekday afternoon where there literally was a handful of people at the bar as well as two other couples seated at a table. NOT BUSY, although we waited 15 minutes for the Server to take our order and we told her that we NEVER even received a menu. She threw down a paper place mat which also served as a menu and once again we never saw her again for about 15 more minutes. I neglected to say that when she arrived at our table she looked as if she just crawled out of bed threw on the closest outfit that she could find on the floor that was in reach of the bed!! LOL ~ Her hair was just as bad! We should have left at that point but didn't. There was a guy sitting at a table with his laptop (Manager, owner ??) not sure but was of no help at all!! Cocky, rude and of no help! Finally ordered our food and had to wait 40 (yes 40) minutes before our "sandwiches" were brought to the table. WE REALLY SHOULD HAVE LEFT, but we were starving and in a bit of a hurry (how ironic is that?) The food really was good, but the service SUCKS!!! A young girl (apparently the owner's daughter & boyfriend??) shows up and all of a sudden every server, bartender in the joint was "all over" them. Nobody gave a POOP about (us the CUSTOMERS) who WERE BEING NEGLECTED! Where is their CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS JOINT??? What a shame, because we really like the food. We also liked the fact that we could bring our kids in their during the day/early evening, get a bite to eat and have a beer. But we will not be returning until they REALLY GET THEIR ACTS TOGETHER. Went there for a drink after work one day, bartender was non-attentive, apparently at the end of her shift, and couldn't care less if we got served, how long it took, or how many times we had to politely gesture to her for service. About a year later, I decided to give them another chance....worst service, worst food. It took 65 minutes for the meal to come. In the meantime, they were out of the first 4 beers I ordered. When the food finally came, there were 2 substitutions on the plate out of the 3 items that were supposed to be on it. The ribs were dry, day-old and reheated crap, the pulled pork was replaced by italian beef with BBQ sauce (italian spices and BBQ is NOT a good combo) on it and the chicken was some kind of squab or rat meat, a leg and thigh smaller than half-my hand. No apologies, no clue about how to treat a customer. Our satisfaction was definately not their priority. The place is all about the staff and their personal issues and not about the customer. Least professional service I have ever received, both times. Not sure why I went back. I am not sure if the other locations are this bad, but the Midlothian location is poorly managed (being out of 4 beers on their beer list) and the staff's lack of care for the clientele is certainly hurting their business. read more
