We sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender. I didn't get her name, but she was personable and affable. My brother was familiar with her since he visits semi-regularly. My brother loves both the burgers and pizza. He claimed the pizza rivals Fox's pizza in Beverly, so naturally I had to check it out. The pizza is good, but it's no Fox's!! We ordered double pepperoni, which was perfectly thin and crispy. It was a little too greasy for me, but other than that, I have no complaints. I also had an amaretto stone sour, which was delicious. My brother had a drink as well, but I can't recall which one. He always orders it, though, so clearly the bartender prepares it to his liking. The bar has a welcoming neighborhood vibe. The bartender knew some people by name or face, but everyone was welcomed with open arms. The bill for was about $45, which is pretty standard nowadays. The pizza was very reasonable ($18), which was awesome. There are slot machines in the corner for all the eager gamblers. Next time I'll try the burgers!

The pizza and chicken wings are a must. However, their menu had bunch of items that I really want to try. I cannot ride and not mention the bar service. My server Jess was amazing. She was attentive but not hovering and annoying. Had very good personality and I loved talking football with her.

Better to go earlier if you want to save on admission. With the crappy cover prices it adds up and isn't worth it because it's often lame to be honest. Found out about it while looking for places around here to go. It's not a great area for certain so the options are limited. This was one of the few bars or restaurants we had not been to yet. Annoying things they have about it. They often charge a cover on the weekends. Go earlier and it can be avoided. It's about $6 to get a whole pitcher on Wednesdays. Choose a house liquor and add fruit juices. Pretty great value. We imagined the food would be worse. It's about $6 for chips and salsa, pretty basic. This turned out to be actually okay. Of course they have the kitchen closed most times so they usually won't even have anything. They also have the usual bar food like burgers and fries. Have to say it's not as bad as it could be. It's closed Mondays. They charge a cover later on the weekends.

Also has more than a few drinks. The food offerings are basic and greasy. Basic looking place in one of the unfortunate suburbs around. It's a great fit for the area at least. The inside of it is quite small and is always crowded no matter whenever. Has a list of drink specials that are daily. It's always $5 to get a pint of Bud Light or a shot of whiskey. As for the food it's the usual fried and meaty. It's about $7 to get things like burgers, sandwiches, or whatever. Again the menu is mostly meaty. They have chips and popcorn. For sure it's not a high class establishment. It's open late. They have lots of games such as slots.

Some days the bar itself can get impossibly crowded as a lot of people go here in large groups. They have great lunch specials and cheap beer specials too. Beer options are standard, mostly domestic bottles and cans with only a few craft options like Founders All Day IPA and 1-4 from Blue Island Beer Company. There's just a few taps, maybe 4 total? The best things for me are probably the grill behind the bar where all the food is cooked to order by your bartender, as well as all the cool events that their owner organizes. He's super involved in the community which is awesome! There's local bean bag tournaments, meat auctions, put put golf tournaments, and roast beef events. It's all super fun. Definitely worth checking out for a cheap burger and beer special. Cheers!

I got mine on flour tortillas and I could tell the tortillas were treated on the grill before the tacos were assembled. That definitely made a difference. My best friend had the jerk shrimp tacos on corn tortillas, and she enjoyed them as well. The best part? Tacos are $5 on Taco Tuesday! * The catfish was GREAT! It was crispy, juicy, tender, and perfectly flaky. It came in a meal deal with 2 chicken wings for only $3.99! * Happy hour includes $5 pours of tequila and cognac. You also get 2 shooters for $5. * If you're with a good group, karaoke night can be very fun...just don't have any expectations of the crowd actually listening to you. Lows: * The chicken wings were under-cooked. The staff graciously took them back and recooked them for us, but by that time, we were over it. But I will say most folks were enjoying them. * You're out of luck during happy hour if you don't drink Henny or Jose Cuervo. I wish they'd at least add a whiskey. * Service is AWFUL! And no that's not an exaggeration. While all the staff is nice and friendly, there's only 1 bartender and 1 server the majority of the time, and the place is typically packed. When we order drinks, we make sure to order double because it will take 30mins+ to get your next round. The price point is great, but you have to wonder at what cost? I enjoy the place, but I'm unfortunately not rushing to get back (and I wish I were). #ImNotAFoodie  #ImJustAGirlWhoLovesFood

The attendant for bingo starts handing out the cards about 1:10pm. There were also many saved seats at the bar and some tables. A few did not show up so the seats were opened a little after 1pm. So get there early to get a seat. We had a couple drinks. Vodka and sprite and a Pinot Grigio. Both were reasonably priced. The soup special was tomato bisque with shrimp. The soup was very good. A little thicker than I prefer, but there was a decent amount of shrimp. Also ordered the onion ring tower. The rings were plated, no longer served in a tower. But the rings were fresh and tasty. Served with a spicy thousand island sauce. One constant here is that every time we have visited the service has beef excellent. Ashley greater is making us immediately feel comfortable. I love the way the people behind the bar back each other up. Niko makes sure there is no gap. Looking forward to our next visit.

Has pretty good happy hours that are cheap. There's also better than expected food at okay prices. Before coming here it looked like it was busy. It's often a good sign. There's plenty of TVs for watching games or whatever. Has plenty of seats at the bar. There's also quite a few tables. Bigger than expected. It's about $6 for cocktails at happy hour. There's better prices in the food though. A lot of cheaper items. It's $10 for the Jumbo Pretzel at happy hour, and we got one of these. Big enough for a few people to be honest. The rest of the menu has burgers and chicken sandwiches. Also has a weekend brunch. There's also Mexican food like fajitas and tacos. Certainly a lot on the menu. They unsurprisingly are slow it seems. For sure it's better than it looks. It's best to go weekdays for the cheaper prices. The menu has a lot of pretty okay things.
