The attendant for bingo starts handing out the cards about 1:10pm. There were also many saved seats at the bar and some tables. A few did not show up so the seats were opened a little after 1pm. So get there early to get a seat. We had a couple drinks. Vodka and sprite and a Pinot Grigio. Both were reasonably priced. The soup special was tomato bisque with shrimp. The soup was very good. A little thicker than I prefer, but there was a decent amount of shrimp. Also ordered the onion ring tower. The rings were plated, no longer served in a tower. But the rings were fresh and tasty. Served with a spicy thousand island sauce. One constant here is that every time we have visited the service has beef excellent. Ashley greater is making us immediately feel comfortable. I love the way the people behind the bar back each other up. Niko makes sure there is no gap. Looking forward to our next visit.

There's also better than expected food at okay prices. Before coming here it looked like it was busy. It's often a good sign. There's plenty of TVs for watching games or whatever. Has plenty of seats at the bar. There's also quite a few tables. Bigger than expected. It's about $6 for cocktails at happy hour. There's better prices in the food though. A lot of cheaper items. It's $10 for the Jumbo Pretzel at happy hour, and we got one of these. Big enough for a few people to be honest. The rest of the menu has burgers and chicken sandwiches. Also has a weekend brunch. There's also Mexican food like fajitas and tacos. Certainly a lot on the menu. They unsurprisingly are slow it seems. For sure it's better than it looks. It's best to go weekdays for the cheaper prices. The menu has a lot of pretty okay things.

The presentation was on point and they even had a balsamic drizzle on the side- that was just brilliant. The Sausage pizza- perfect. However, my absolute favorite was the loaded nachos- probably- the best I've ever had. My pic won't do this justice, but I can honestly say that every ingredient was the equal- balanced amount. I just walked in one day and I don't even live in the area. I was greeted by the co-owner and wife. She was so friendly and attentive. I found out the owner was a Vet and immediately I felt a kinship because Im one also. The atmosphere was so calm when I was there and the decorative aspects were better than most bars that you find in north Chicago. Did I mention the bloody mary station? I would recommend coming here for a few beers or to watch a football game, but not for dinner. If you want dinner go to Applebees or one of the many restaurants in the area. It's a warm place with good vibes, just not the best food. We tried the nachos with chicken and the chicken was old hard leftover chicken. The jalapeños were huge and raw with seeds, not pickled. Nothing wrong with that but I can't handle that kind of spice. The gaming area looks really nice but I didn't actually play any of the machines. Best terms I would use is intimate, cozy and clean. There are about six tables and a small bar. Bar itself is mostly dark wood. There are four TV screens and a small gaming room. Bartender kept us supplied with cold beers. Beers were a good deal too, 5 bottles for 10 bucks. My friends and I enjoyed watching the game here, the place was kind of empty so it was easy to carry on a conversation. Bartender brought out some complimentary chips and salsa, I loved it and the salsa had a nice kick. Bathroom? That had to be one of the cleanest cans I ever received myself in. Didn't have a chance to try any of the edibles, pizza prepared for someone else look good. I will definitely have to come back, may next Sunday for the Playoffs.
