A rectangular black plate holds a grilled sandwich cut into halves with toothpicks, accompanied by a pickle spear. A small bowl of French fries is placed on the plate, with a side of ketchup in a small container. The presentation suggests a casual dining setting, with the food arranged neatly on the plate.

First time at Porter Cullens for me and it was delicious! My girlfriend and I got the sweet pear flatbread and the combination of sweet pear, blue cheese, candied bacon and balsamic glazed was such a great combination. Sandwich we got the Spicy gourmet grilled cheese and the fish and chips all was very good. Atmosphere was great and service was awesome. Love their dirty martinis and I asked for 3 stuffed cheese olives and no complaints. A very good first experience for me and will be back for sure!

The image shows the exterior of Porter Cullens, an Irish pub, with a black awning displaying the business name and logo. There are outdoor tables and chairs arranged on the sidewalk, some shaded by umbrellas. The building has large windows, and the entrance is visible with a sign indicating it is open. Several parked cars are seen along the street, and trees are in the background, suggesting a suburban or small-town setting.

My mom and I went down to Mt. Greenwood to meet my friends for lunch whilst they were at work, and Porter Cullens is only about five minutes from their workplace. It's in the middle of a neighborhood and near StX, Mother McCauley, etc. But because of it's location, parking here can be really difficult since the neighborhood parking is not for restaurant patrons. They have a some diagonal parking on the street. They have some outdoor seating, about five tables. When we were here it was warm and humid so we sat inside. One of the servers was pretty friendly, but the one who took our orders doesn't seem to have much patience and seemed somewhat annoyed. Attention was lacking; I got one refill on my water during the hour plus that we were there. However, the food was good. My friend got the Irish egg rolls, which are apparently corned beef and sauerkraut in egg roll form. Served with Italian dressing, it's almost like a reuben egg roll but I don't think there's cheese in them. I'd get those next time I was there, or the corned beef sandwich. I got a turkey club which was yummy and big--I brought half of it home and also had to unhinge my jaw to eat it. The other two in our party go the sliders. One ordered them as described in the menu, and the other just got three of the same type (apparently you can do that but they can only be either as stated on the menu OR all one type of slider). I well may visit here again since I have friends who lie and work nearby. But the service kinda left a bad taste in my mouth to be honest, so unless I was really craving the Irish egg rolls I might find another place to try nearby.

Corned beef sandwich - A meal featuring a toasted sandwich with skewers, served with a side of French fries in a black bowl and a small cup of ketchup. The sandwich appears grilled with visible browning, and a lemon wedge is placed on the plate. The setting is a dark table with other food and drinks visible in the background.

Nice little Irish restaurant located in Evergreen Park. It's easy to miss, it's located in a residential area not by a lot of restaurants or businesses. It's on 99th street, just a little east of Brother Rice High School. But regardless of that, it's worth checking out if you're in the area. It's nice, but without getting too expensive. They have a wide variety of sandwiches and salads. I got the corned beef with fries. Solid, got the job done. They also have a full bar and selection of beers and cocktails. Inside isn't super big, but they have outdoor seating for when the weather cooperates. In the grand scheme of things it's nothing too special, but there's not a whole lot similar to this in this area, so I'd recommend if you live close by.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Porter Cullens Irish Pub and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with warm and friendly service that made me feel right at home. I decided to try the nachos with steak, Irish egg rolls, and buffalo chicken sandwich, and I was not disappointed. The steak nachos were loaded with tender and flavorful strips of steak and a generous serving of toppings. I was told the making the chips fresh in house. The Irish egg rolls were a unique twist on a classic appetizer. Open face egg roll filled corned beef, cabbage, and cheese. It was so delicious. The staff were very attentive, and friendly making for a pleasant dining atmosphere. I loved the decor very modern and inviting. I highly recommend a visit to Porter Cullens for a great meal and fantastic service.

A digital menu board features the name 'Cullens Cure' and lists food items such as Angus beef, homemade corned beef, Swiss cheese, candied bacon, fried egg, choice of bun, pickle, and fries, indicating offerings at an Irish pub or restaurant.

My best friends from high school and I decided to get together for a "let's get caught up"…read moreafterwork cocktail and meal. Tavern In the Green delivered the goods in a warm friendly atmosphere. I'm not drinking these days so I was pleased to see non-alcoholic Corona & N.A. Coors on the menu. Our waitress Natalie was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, prepared promptly and served while hot. The Onion rings were crisping the outside while the internal onion was translucent and piping hot. The fried pickles were prepared in a light tempura batter but maintained a crisp exterior texture--exquisite flavor as well. I gave up red meat for Lent so maybe it was just that I was craving red meat, but the "Paddy Melt" as they called it was off the chain good!!!! One of my friend said the "Roadhouse Burger" was a must try next visit. My other buddy was eating more responsibly than us and ate every drop of Chicken Caesar Wrap. This was a good choice that delivered a quality evening.

It was a very nice pub and had a very friendly atmosphere. Our waitress was outstanding. Never had to wait for her to be attentive to us. As it being a Friday in Lent, my husband and I ordered the fish and chips. They were tasty, but it could have used a little more fish and a little less breading. One other quest ordered a burger, and another ordered the ribs. I was told the burger was really good. The ribs on the other hand were not cooked with the sauce on them, as far the guest could tell, but added later and they were just too saucy. I took the leftover ribs home and had them the next day and would agree with the original orderer. Too saucy. The drinks were good.
