This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I've had at a bar. The bartender refused to serve me and wouldn't even look at my ID. There was no attempt to verify my age just an immediate refusal. After we sat down, the waitress told us it was because I'm "tiny." So instead of following proper procedure and checking identification, they chose to judge me based on my appearance. Denying service because someone looks small is not a policy - it's lazy, unprofessional, and discriminatory. If management is allowing staff to refuse guests without even checking valid ID, that's a serious problem. To make it worse, this happened in front of other customers, which was embarrassing and unnecessary. Management should seriously retrain their staff on professionalism and basic customer respect. Highly disappointed with the customer service. Good food and service is what brings customers back and both were terrible. After waiting 30 minutes for a chicken Cesar wrap and fries, wrap comes with no fries and no Cesar dressing on the wrap. The waitress, claims she was assistant manager. She was very unhappy when I asked for the fries, so then comes back with fries and throws the basket on the table. 2nd time, this sitting, she threw the basket on the table. When I confronted about her customer service and how she threw my food, she proceeded to get defensive saying they are busy. I related well you need more staff, this is nothing new. They were under staffed a month ago when I was here also. Then I told the young server, Ella, if the food was right when it was brought out this wouldn't be an issue...this little girl told me to "get the f*** out". It was absolutely uncalled for to speak to a customer like that. I can't believe a place would hire someone with words like that coming out of their mouth. Went here for dinner and to watch a bowl game. Ordered the nachos as our appetizer. The menu gave the description including cheese. We got the nachos with runny gross canned cheese! Yuck! Chicken parmasean was not good. Salad with greens, pasta, gorgonzola, etc was good. Bartender took our desert order, but after 20 minutes and no desert, we told him not to make it and we left. Liked this place a lot and will return. So here is my take. We had chicken wings (4 stars) and they were very nice ... we ordered them dry with BBQ sauce on the side and they came out wet with the sauce on them. So, not sure but I think they may have been 5 star wings, but they only get 4 stars as presented. Also had the 1/2 pound hamburger and it was 4 star good ... done perfectly and nice tender beef ... would get this again. My daughter got the chicken wrap (2 stars) and it was mainly tortilla and was pretty dry ... although the pico had a nice flavor; we ordered with pico (came with little) and avocado (came with very little) ... had it had more of these two it would have been rated higher. The third in our party had chicken tacos (3 star) nice but not very flavorful ... needed a bit of spunk to fire them up. We also had a side of mozzarella sticks (4 star nice), gooey on the inside and a bit crisp on the outside. Lastly, we did not order pretzel sticks but they served them to us anyway ... we hope someone else didn't miss them in their order, but the pretzel sticks were also 5 star stuff. All in all we would return and focus on the chicken wings and pretzel sticks. Nice open and airy bar area, loads of room, and a few video games for those so inclined. Good beer selection. Came in to watch the White Sox, have a bite and some drinks. At around 9:30PM an entire little league team came in. Like twenty 8-9 year olds plus a half dozen parents. I'm all for having a cold one after the game but this was ridiculous. Kids running around the bar, screaming. Parents couldn't care less. Have been here countless times over the years but not so much lately not to any fault of this place. But I came in yesterday with a group of friends to watch sports and some food. This is your typical sports bar. Accept for nearly all the appetizers everything else here is fresh made. There are daily specials of some items of food and drink. The service here yesterday was mostly good. This was not the fault of the staff. All 1 of them. How can a single person bartender and work the dining room with about a group of 50 people in total? She ran her legs off and did a very good job. However for the last 1 hour we were there she disappeared all together. At the same time we had now 2 other ladies working the place. We had to flag one down to get any attention. After that it was all good. As for the food we had burgers, fried chicken, Italian sausage and pizza bread. All of the items were pretty good to just above average. The burgers were decent and good sized but not the totally best I have ever had. I was told the sausage sandwich was a ground type with red sauce and peppers was so so. The chicken was good as was the pizza bread. All in all not a bad place for a bite and some drink if you are in the area. Good place for sports with the many TV's. read more

Be it rude female bartenders (the dude with the hat is usually trying his hardest) or horrid servers (or lack there of) this place is always trying so hard to get me to stop coming. I would've jumped off this sinking titanic of a bar already but their wings keep me coming back every few months or so. Recently me and a buddy sat at the bar, 15 minutes to take an order, 30 minutes to get the food, charged me for two drinks when I didn't even finish my one, all the whole the young brunette bartender and the Asian waitress screwed around on Snapchat and with some drunk couple. Decided to check this place out for the Bear's game this past Sunday. We arrived about 11:30 and was able to snag a table for 6. The place was already 70% full and by noon, there wasn't an open seat. The space isn't large, but the high ceilings make it feel bigger than it is. The tvs are small (mabye 32") and placed high all around the room, so you are really craining your neck depending on where you sit. There is one projection/screen tv that is bigger, but the picture is so faint, it is not worth watching. They do need some 50" flat screens to make this a better bar to watch a game. Service was great - very attentive and friendly. They had $10 buckets of domestic and $3 imports. They put out a huge spread of food at 1/2 time. Real food - chicken, potatoes, etc - all free and a ton of food that didn't end. Very impressive. We didn't partake in the food, since we just came from brunch, but everyone else in the joint did and it looked delicious. The also ran some raffles during the game for jerseys - they did 2 of these at $2 per ticket. They also had strip cards - which I won $50 - BONUS!! I am either getting very, very, very old - or the noise level was beyond what I could handle. I could not hear or understand the person sitting next to me. It wasn't because the sound system was so awesome or the game on - it was just noise. The juke box was blaring, the game was blaring, and the crowd was just loud and the accoustics were bad. This place only seems to get reviews from regulars or friends. When my husband and I came in we realized the bartenders over pour like nothing I have EVER SEEN. We both have worked and operated bars previously and this is ridiculous, on a tall whiskey water the bartender did an 8 ounce pour with No water, that is beyond irresponsible as a bartender..not to mention a rip off of the owner. The service sucks because they can't keep waitresses because of the verbal abuse and swearing at the waitresses by the owner. Went on a Monday when tacos were the special. They were hard and dry. Once upon a time we had gone to Coach's Corner maybe five/six years ago; then kind of quit going, because it was a bunch a young kids and the place in appearance and service was not so great. BUT...... A year ago or so, because it was close, we thought we'd just pop in for a drink and move on. WHAT A CHANGE! The place had been remodeled, the menu added with many more choices, and a very friendly atmosphere with people of all ages at the bar and tables. The bartenders and servers are very friendly.
