Here for a work holiday party. Mind you it was for a company that I don't actually work for, so that was kind of cool.The pizza was good. If you haven't had Durbin's pizza then you really need to try, it is a solid pizza that I would order even if I wasn't half in the bag at the bar. Nice big area with a bunch of tables, and an adorable front patio. There is a back patio too, but it was night and too cold so I couldn't really see it. There is also a "back" bar that is closed off for smokers. I was just hanging out back there and almost lost my voice from the poor ventilation. On the plus side, they have industrial overhead heaters that are about a foot above you that let you know what the pizza goes through before they bring it out to you. The also have a dart board, which is important to me as my friends are intolerably boring and we need something to distract us from each other. And until the beer kicks in darts do the trick quite nicely. We were here on a slow night and that is probably the difference between the service we received and what all the other reviews say. We were pretty much the only ones in the bar, but there were a dozen of us. The first waitress' shift ended half way through our evening and they transitioned seamlessly. I would never step foot in this establishment ever again. We order a thin crust pizza on 1/2 price Monday and we didn't receive that. When we realized it, we had called the restaurant. I was put on hold three times, then I finally got the "manager". She wasn't understanding and made it seem as if it was my fault that the pizza was made incorrectly. She asked me if I wanted them to make me another pizza but by this point I was done. I told no thank you and she then sent a driver to collect the pizza. When I spoke with the driver I explained the situation and he looked at the pizza and said that looks like crap. He provided me with the managers name. I told him I will never go back, I have never been treated so badly and I have worked at restaurants before and you do everything to make the customer happy. Would never go there again. I won a free pizza from Durbins. When I came in the door I explained that I had won a pizza. The bartender told me that I had to buy something too. I said ok. She told me to have a seat and someone would be with me. After I got my frozen not fresh pizza she came over and asked me did I buy something else. I said yes and pointed to my drink. First and for most we are regulars of the Tinley Park location we love Danielle but we live in Oak Forest so we like to give our business to the Midlothian location as well not any more we tried Wednesday lunch with Diana which we have tried multiple times just dont she is horrible if you are not someone she knows she just ignores you we went there tonight all the veggies on our pizza were RAW we both ate 2 pieces my mom took all the veggies off of her slices because didnt want eat them we said something to our server which on a side was amazing we said something to her she told Diana who wouldn't come talk to us because she was having her drink in the beer garden and she said since we ate some of it there nothing she could do she would not even come and talk to us because she had to come in and play on the gambling machines with the ccok we were not looking for anything free just for the fact that management knew something was not right simple poor management we are both in the industry if you want to go to a durbins location dont make it this one read more

Came here for the first time ordered simple cheese fries they came and were absolutely disgusting and cold also had a simple corona and it was warm when we first arrived me and my husband sat at the bar and bartender didn't even acknowledge us till about ten minutes she could at least said hello I wouldn't recommend this place or come back again!!! read more

My boyfriend put me on to this place in palos. This midlothian location is crap!!! I ordered a thin and crispy w the works on a monday night a few weeks back that was the most soggy thing i ever had. I complained to them and even mentioned that my boyfriend brought me one from palos to alsip and it was immaculate from there. And it was a pick up from palos!!!! Midlothian tried to resend pizza and still a soggy mess. if i could give zero stars i would. NEVER AGAIN will i order from midlothian ewwww!!!! She's rude, not helpful and I sense a bit of racist on her. She has a problem with "people who use groupons" I'm not sure if her issue is with black people or people who like to save money when they are eating out but she didn't make me feel very welcomed. This is the first review I've ever written about an establishment. Also, the first time I've never received service at a bar. We just wanted to have a drink after dinner on Christmas Eve. We walked in to the bar and I went to the restroom. My friend took a seat at the bar and no one noticed him. I also took a seat at the bar and no one acknowledged me. I order pizza here for delivery and the pizza is good. However, to dine in, NO FRIGGEN WAY. I will NEVER return for a dine in experience. The waitress for one seemed flighty at first, but what was rude was that while in the middle of taking our order another waitress begins a conversation, seriously RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of our order taking. It was the most rudest restaurant experience i've ever had. Then to top it off, a giant piece of plastic was found in my father's meal. Service was slow also, plain and simple. this place is bad. I won't return for dine in and actually although pizza is good, we've moved on to Beggars or Barracos for delivery. Ok so I'm Writing this as I sit at the bar. The bartender , who never told us her name, acts like she barely wants to serve us. Maybe it's because he previous groups of young people have stiffed her but she shouldn't take that out on us. She didn't check on us, also she had an attitude because my drink was not quite right. As a new comer in Illinois I've tried a few places searching for a great Slice of pizza. When I came upon durbins, I was in love. The pizza, the ribs, man. I ordered once on Dec 5th and then again on Dec 30th. When I went to order today, I received a call back thirty minutes later telling my husband that they don't deliver to my neighborhood. Confused, I called back explaining to the lady that I had ordered before. She told me she was sure there had been some mistakes and that they wouldn't be delivering my food. I said well can I come get it if it's done and she said, I threw it away already. When I asked for a manager, she put me on hold and then hung up. First the good news. I was pleased to find a Groupon for a southside restaurant; they're so rare. Additionally, Durbin's serves Branding Iron ribs, and I remember the original Branding Iron on 95th street. The ribs were very good. The bad news: We got there at about 2:30 the Friday after Thanksgiving on the way to the movies. The temp outside was about 30; inside was about 45. There was a speaker overhead playing music with the volume set at 11. We sat for perhaps 15 minutes with no server in sight. I went up to the bartender and asked for some service. She said the waitress didn't come in for another 15 minutes. They serve lunch so I guess the bartender does double duty, and poorly at that. We moved further back into the room where the temp was about 55 (we ate our lunch with our coats on). When the bartender came with our coffee 15 minutes later, we asked for the music to be turned down. My friend and I were literally yelling as loud as we could to talk, so we gave up on that. Apparently, there are speakers all over the room so there is nowhere to escape. The waitress came in and I had to wave by arms to get her attention. Finally, she took our order and we asked again for the music to be turned down to a reasonable level. The bartender came back and told us that a customer who was feeding the jukebox didn't want the sound turned lower even though another table of diners also complained. When we moved, we were sitting against the wall right next to a TV. A customer (the same guy?) came over and turned the sound up as loud as he could because the hockey game was starting. He then vanished. By that time, we decided to eat and get out. Were I 25 again and it was 2 in the morning and I had been drinking for 3 hours, I probably would have liked the loud music. Trying to have lunch at 3 in afternoon and carry on a conversation, it was impossible. Had I not had the Groupon, we would have walked out at the beginning. We did see a appetizing-looking pizza get brought to another table, so there's that. Although the guy who wanted the loud music was a customer, so were we...although we will certainly not be customers again. My friend has eaten at another Durbin's and said the pizza was very good. I don't care if the pizza is served with diamonds on it, I'll never go to a Durbin's again. What a crappy way to run a business. read more

Durbins in Midlothian is poorly ran: The Managers treat the servers like trash, The food is not the best, Diana has been very disrespectful and unprofessional on multiple occasions, and Miranda has embarrassed her coworkers in from of customers. Apparently the employees are not given breaks no matter how long their shift is. I have noticed the regulars stopped coming in as much. They let anyone in which is why I heard that cocaine had been dealt and used there, as well as guns. Lesly tends to stand at tables and chit chat while ignoring her other tables but then yelling at her coworkers for taking to long to serve their tables. I HIGHLY do NOT recommend this restaurant to any one at all. I have had only 2 nice servers: Jon and Sam. I have had only 1 nice bartender: Meg. Oh and I have heard the N word come out of Both managers named Diana and Michelle. read more

Came into this bar around 11:30pm there was barely anybody in there me and my friends sat down and noticed that we didn't get a hi , hello or anything but when other customers came in the bartender pretending to be the manager as well would cheerfully greet them! What can I say about this place that so many others haven't said already in their reviews. My mistake for not doing my research prior to entering this place. This was my 1st and last visit. I knew it was a sports bar but didn't expect loud head banging music at 1:30pm on a Wed afternoon. The service was extremely slow and I would have left but I was with my elderly father who was willing to continue waiting. We entered Durbins at 1:35pm, order was taken (aside from drinks) at about 2:15pm and we got our food about 45 minutes later. Our server gave considerable attention to the regulars as she neglected us. When she did arrive she was polite but definitely wanted to leave right away. We have gone here several times in the past six months and the service is always the same: S L O W. The waitresses are nice but they seem to disappear for 15-30 minutes at a time. There were only a few folks in there all the times we went there and it just ridiculously slow service. It's a shame too because the food is really good. I love sports, beer, and a great shot of patron. This place has all three. I went there to watch a Sox game and I could not believe the Corona was 2 bucks and Patron shots for 3 bucks. This is a sports fan heaven. There are BIG screen tv's everywhere so no matter where you sit you cna view the game. Now let's talk food the pizza ten thumbs up, and the hot wings are FIRE. Racism still exist at this establishment I went there this weekend to have fun with 4 of my friends. I have always enjoyed my time at this place but I guess it must been whites only 4/10/2015 @11:43pm. We were the only black people that would have been inside of this bar, this guy looked at my ID picture and said they can't allow me to go in because I have a beard and on my ID I don't have a beard! In an effort to try out places in our area, we decided to try out this restaurant. BAD decision! He ordered a BBQ sampler and I ordered the chicken and ribs. To change it up, got the chicken fried. UNDERWHELMING is not even an accurate word. The ribs were so overcooked and tasteless that the only thing that helped was the BBQ sauce (we did not finish them). The pulled pork was mediocre and the fried chicken (how do you F that up) was a crime. Love love love the food here. On top of that, add in that they're a Blackhawks bar, makes this place totally solid for me. Half price pizzas on Mon and Fri, and drink specials that kick ass all week? We had an amazing experience with this Durbins location, for delivery. We placed an order at 5:50pm on a Friday and were told the pizza and other goodies would arrive in an hour. 30 minutes later we had piping hot food at our door. The prices were reasonable and the food was amazing! The delivery girl was very nice as well! We will definitely keep their menu in our carry out menu bin :) only con was their large pizza was about the size of a frozen pizza- if you are feeding more than 3 adults, go up in size. read more

A slow Memorial Day Monday = poor lunch service, even worse food Instead of eating at the Irish Fest my wife and I decided to go for food in the area. We found Durbin's and since the restaurant was slow, and we had time to kill, we decided to try it out. An unfortunate mistake. We ordered mushroom appetizers, pulled pork and a chicken salad. I asked about substituting sides for the coleslaw and was bluntly told, "no" by our waitress Taylor. What type of waitress tells you "no"? You're supposed to give options. Come on now. Back to basics. Despite the rude "no", I asked about garlic bread and she said it would be a $1 extra. Why didn't you said it would just be extra instead of just saying "no"? Our main food came out and the waitress said she'd be back to bring the appetizers. I cancelled the appetizers because, in every restaurant I've been to, the appetizers come out before the food. She apologized and said she had put in the order all at once. So after she set down the coleslaw as a side, instead of the garlic bread I had ordered, I just waited to see if she would realize her mistake. After stopping by our table once, and not noticing, I handed her the coleslaw. Five minutes later she brought the bread out. Poor service. The food... my God the food was bad. The pulled pork was soaked in KC Masterpiece in order to avoid the customers realizing how dry the pork was. How you mess up a chicken salad I don't know, but they did. The dressing tasted off, like it had expired and they were trying to use the last of it. There was a lot of chicken but it looked like they were using the last of their lettuce because there was hardly any on the plate. Although they did attempt to spread it out to make it appear as if it was a full plate. Thankfully it cost us less than $20 to eat there. That was about the only good part of our lunchtime visit at Durbin's. I would avoid going to lunch here. read more
