If i could give a zero i would. My sister and i walked to get pink roses for her daughter in-law who just had a baby girl. The Rude man I'm not going to give him the respect of calling him a gentleman because he dosen't deserve it, who was behind the counter was on a personal phone call as we walk in he looked at us and we were bothering him. My sister ask him about some roses he had on the counter to see if they were pink he pick them up rudely and said said YES very rude. I couldn't take it anymore so i told my sister lets go and he said very rudely B Y E‐---with a bad attitude. So lets go back about 20 years i use to by my flowers from them, and i have gone back they were ok but i noticed that the customer service was BAD. I had told my sister no lets not go in because i remember how they treat there customers, she was like let's go see, and that was the outcome. I've ordered flowers from here three different times and each time the experience was worse than the last. This time is truly the last. I'm sure they are good enough at snipping flowers and jamming them into vases, but as far as running a business and attending to the details of tracking an order, they have zilch. I called to ask if my order would be delivered today and the man said "yes, of course." When I asked if he wanted my name or the order number, he explained it wouldn't do any good because all the orders were out on trucks and he wouldn't be able to tell if mine was among them. Really? I called them back at the end of the day only to find out that while my order was placed, it was never acted upon by the florist and no flowers are out for delivery. they offered to deliver them on February 15th. Terrible service, the only "florist" working there the night I went had zero opinions or recommendations about flower arrangements or combinations. He was rude when I asked about specific flowers, saying they were all sold and didn't offer any similar options and even failed to point out that they had more of the same against another wall. Sparse collection and many flowers looked like they were at their end of life. Fairly overpriced in my opinion too..But it was really the lack of customer service that hurts them. Maybe they don't focus on walk-ins, bouquets, and small arrangements..only large events/weddings..but every customer should count. read more

Ordered a specific floral tall exocic "Modern Rose Cluster", from the their website, and they delivered a totally different short arrangement with roses and other flowers. Called to inquire about the mix up, that was ordered/delivered on Tuesday. Sure she apologized, refused to give a disc or cr. but offered to pick up the arrangement from the hospital and bring another...really?? Who does that? Obviously they do, because she had no problem suggesting and mentioned that it's been done before! $100 arrangement (not incl tax & del) and couldn't get it right...smh. read more

I regularly get my flowers from here as it is very close to where I live. The quality of the flowers has really started to degrade. I understand the Valentine's Day markup. Paying $60 for the dozen that I normally get for less than $20 is ridiculous. Especially when that $60 gets you a dozen that isn't very fresh nor very good looking. On top of that, the employees aren't very polite. Shop somewhere else and give your money to a better flower shop. read more

I will never return to this place! As a city employee, most of us have purchased flowers from this location at one time or another. However, the rude frumpy girl who attends to you thinks it's okay to charge you more each time you visit for the exact same flower combination. In the past she has charged me more for delivery than she had the previous time, to the same location. After I produced an old receipt she changed the delivery price. This time she charged me more for the vase, and added an arrangement fee. So for a $29 special, I ended up paying $49. That's $10 more than she has always charged me. When I brought it to her attention, she was rude and indignant. I paid it because I needed the flowers. However, I will never be back! read more

I drive by this flower shop every day to and from work. I recently needed some flowers for a friend who got accepted into the Hopkins program, woo hoo! I came in and was greeted by the two friendly people who were working there. I wasn't asked immediately if I needed help so I took a look around. After a few minutes , the man asked me what I needed. I let him know I need a basic bouquet with a variety of flowers. He showed me a couple and I picked one. The selection was good but what impressed me was that he didn't just get the bouquet, wrap it up, and call it a day. He took the time to add more flowers to it and spruce it up nicely. It was then wrapped up beautifully. The bouquet was gigantic and my friend absolutely loved it. Will definitely come back when I need flowers again. read more

We were looking for an inexpensive florist for our wedding and saw the exquisite arrangements at the Pasadena Westin. Duran Florists on Arroyo was (and currently is) the Westin's floral vendor. Mike, the owner, catered to our budget, visual theme (Westin's center pieces on a budget) and need. He went above and beyond the necessary duties of most florists: to deliver and set up. Our wedding location changed from outdoor to indoor and he and his staff waited nearly an hour until the decision to change locations was made. Then, he added extra touches for no additional charge. Unlike other floral shops where the owner is non-existent at these events, Mike was present for every detail. All the flowers were incredibly fresh, large and gorgeous. Great quality. The staff at Duran take pride in their workmanship and it shows. They stayed within our budget and added additional touches to make sure their work was showcased properly without additional charges to us. Most florists would have charged us for cake decorations, rose petals, foliage, and the location change (it rained on our wedding day), however Duran florists were patient, detail oriented and professional. Out of all of our wedding vendors, we highly recommend Duran and Yummy Cupcakes (in Burbank). We order all of our arrangements from Duran and are extremely pleased with every purchase. read more

I was searching for a florist for my little brother's wedding. Over the last year, I went in and ordered floral arrangements to see what they would like. Each time, I was impressed with the floral arrangements. When I finally decided to Duran's... I walked in one day and was introduced to Mike, he is the floral coordinator for events. Mike listened to what the bride was looking for and I sent him a picture of what she found on pinterest. If you have a picture, he can create it better than the picture. He said don't worry and we made an appointment for the bride. The bride walked in to the showroom, he had sample floral arrangements waiting for us. I turned to my sister/bride... and tears started to roll down her eyes and smile that only that moment could create. Mike will work with your budget. The night before the big day I called and asked if he could add something else that the bride really wanted... without even saying what it was... he said "of course." On the day of the event, he was on time. (I was not aware that the cake was being delivered at a later time because it was butter cream/only this cake can sit out for 2 hours). I walked into the flower shop at 7pm to order flowers for a friends funeral that was taking place the next. Jorge was great. He helped me pick out a beautiful arrangent of hydrangeas lilies and roses. The price was expensive but worth every penny. Jorge had said he would guarantee that it would be a well worth to cost and if i wasn't happy to come back. Jorge did not disappoint! The flowers were fresh colorful and full.
