My friend got into a car accident a few days ago and I wanted to get flowers delivered to her today. I moved out to Hawaii recently so I had to search for a good florist and came upon Happy Rose. I am so glad i did because the woman who helped me, Zari, was so attentive to what I needed. She was detailed in explaining everything. At first I wanted peonies but she told me they werent in season and even told me how expensive it was per peony. She suggested a different arrangement instead (which i am so glad she did). She worked with me in how I wanted it to come out and it turned out so beautiful! I called my friend to ask if they were delivered and they were not (this was at 630pm) I called the store (after closing time 6pm, but I live in Hawaii so we are 2 hours behind) and thankfully the owner even leaves his cell phone number behind in case anything happens. I called and the owner was so nice and tried to figure out what happened. Coincidentally, the flowers got delivered a minute after my call. I just wanted to praise the owner and Zari for such wonderful customer service. I am so happy I pick you guys and my friend is EXTREMELY happy with her flowers.
I was very pleased with the quality of service. I called as soon as they opened so that the flowers can be delivered before noon time. Price was moderate and reasonable. Zari was very helpful and making sure the flower was delivered within an hour because it was only 15 minutes away but still she was very prompt. Making sure all the info was correct and double checking and verifying all the informations again. Person receiving was very Happy and txt me to thank with photo of flower delivery.
I was so pleasantly surprised as to the quality of the arrangement that was made. Far too often what you view on a florist website hardly ever comes even remotely close to the finish product. Given current market conditions, this seems to be the new norm. This was not the case. I ordered an arrangement from their website. Paid the fee and expected the "norm". Surprisingly a received a call from HRF asking if I had anything to add, any questions and confirm the delivery date and time. This alone was mind blowing. I've never in the years of ordering flowers has ANYONE followed up to confirm. But that was not all. I asked to be texted a photo of the arrangement prior to delivery. You know, just for comparison. WELL.... The image on their website even exceeded what was being sent. The communication, professionalism, courtesy, customer service and attention to detail was something that I've never experienced before from a florist. The arrangement was GORGEOUS!!!! I've posted the website photos AND what I was provided. The pictures speak for themselves. Until next time HRF.
Happy roses live here, and other happy flowers, too! One of my good friends from high school came up to celebrate her 25th birthday with me and another good friend of ours, and I wanted to give her a cute little bouquet with her other gift. I knew I wanted to support a local business, but this was the first time I'd purchased flowers at a shop so I wasn't sure what to look for. This friend won "Most Unique" (I know, doesn't make sense) in high school, so I wanted to find some unique flowers for her. I hopped on Yelp to find a local flower shop that seemed reasonably priced and had good reviews. I came across Happy Rose and decided to check them out because the reviews were glowing. When I arrived I noticed there was only one designated parking spot for the shop, but I can't recall whether the street parking is paid or allowed without a permit. Zari was helping another customer when I came in, and she told me to take a look at the flowers in the fridge while I waited. I didn't see any flowers that really peaked my interest, so I browsed the business' Yelp pictures again to see if I liked any of the previous arrangements that included flowers they had in stock that day. I eventually settled on sunflowers accented by little yellow flowers I didn't know the name of. Zari asked me what my price range was, and I told her I was hoping to spend $20 or less. She created the bouquet for me and threw in an extra sunflower or two and a card at no extra charge. The bouquet, wrapped in brown paper and twine, had a cute boho look that was originally unintentional but totally fit the vibe of my friend. When I gave it to her, she told me sunflowers are her favorite. I had no idea! I was so happy I was able to brighten her day with help from Happy Rose! I definitely recommend checking them out, whether you need flowers for a significant other, a family member, or a friend!
This was actually a wonderful experience. I live in northern California and the person I was sending these flowers 2 lives in Southern California and I was really concerned that perhaps they wouldn't get it right or the arrangement wouldn't look like it did in the picture or it would be delivered at the wrong time - there were just so many possibilities for this situation to go wrong. However these people nailed it! The online process of making this purchase was easy-peasy lemon squeezy ! I would definitely place another order with this company again if I had to order flowers for someone In the Pasadena area. The flowers looked exactly like they did in the picture I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. So definitely give happy rose florist the opportunity to put together an arrangement for ya and have it sent to someone special you won't regret it.
Great flower shop in Pasadena. I ordered here for mother's day and for a birthday. Both times I called in my order and walked in to pick it up. They are so accommodating! - I called the day I wanted the flowers and they were able to put together a lovely bouquet. While they needed to make substitutions based on the inventory, I thought the outcome was beautiful. - I ordered based on their website photos which made it easy. - I opted for wrapped bouquets, so that I would have to bring a vase with me to my events. - They were clearly busy for Mother's day, but when I walked in to pick up my order, everything was prepared and ready to go.
I showed up last minute to get flowers for my mom's birthday. There was some ready made flowers already. I chose one I really liked and we added more to it. She was so nice and sweet and listened to what I liked. They turned out beautiful. Custom made to how I wanted it to look. I will probably always buy from here. Thank you again for accommodating me last minute.
Attached pictures to show what I ordered and what I actually got. I'll never be coming back here since this business thinks they can just misrepresent the products that you are going to receive. Of course I don't expect an exact copy of the picture, but this is just completely different. Missing half of the flowers at least shown on their website. Extremely disappointed and won't be back. Edit: They were happy to redo the arrangement and added a flower for me. They were very nice and helped me with a great Valentine's.
Very friendly service. The characters when ordering online were short, so I called and they were happy to hand write the longer message for me. I saw another reviewer requested a picture of the arrangement prior to delivery, so I requested the same and they promptly sent it to me. Was much larger than expected, but still very nice. The recipient was very pleased.
Great, great GREAT EXPERIENCE! I called the day that I wanted flowers ordered & without hesitation, they said they could be delivered. I was in shock, they were so easy going on the phone & so polite. I used the site to choose my arrangement & gave all information over the phone. (You also have the option to order online) At the end of the conversation, the kind woman voluntarily gave me her name, let me know what time she would be going home & let me know who would be available for me to contact if I wanted a status update. THAT IS SOOOO NICE OF HER! I was so excited for the flowers to get delivered & I wanted to make sure they got into the apartment complex okay that I called back for a status update. I love how this company communicates because he knew exactly which order I was talking about & he knew it was out for delivery. He let me know if there was a problem that he would contact me. He asked me to re-verify name & number in case they needed to contact me for help. When hanging up, I happened to get a call from the lovely delivery woman. I missed the call & she left a message but I called right back. She let me know that she was having trouble with the gate code & she said she would wait until I got a hold of someone before leaving. WHAT! These people are so nice. This was my first time using Happy Rose Florist & I was so please with their services. I will be back to order from them in the future!

Great service & beautiful flowers. I sent a bouquet of sunflowers. They look exactly like the photo I sent the florist and she made a helpful suggestion to make them pop even more. The recipient said the arrangement is big, gorgeous and smells great. Highly Recommend. read more

Came in twice in one week for a funeral and hospital visit. Both times they were fast friendly and beyond accomedating. Both bouquets were gorgeous, unfortunately didn't get a pic of the 1st bouquet but definitely of the 2nd. The shop is small and parking is extremely difficult, its located om the busy intersection of Lake & Villa. Tons of living and cut flowers, orchids and ivy as well. They have a running water feature that brings a calm feeling as you walk in, which helps when you come in under stressful situations. read more

Found this florist place on Yelp when I was trying to find a new florist to have flowers delivered to my mother's office for Mother's Day. I am usually weary when it comes to flowers because I have had bad experiences with flower deliveries. Anyway, I placed my order on Wednesday and I called the shop today (Friday) around 11am to ask if they would be delivered today. The man on the phone was very friendly and took down my information and said he would have the flowers delivered today. My mother then sent me a photo a few minutes ago (11:37am) of the flowers and thanked me for them. I am honestly blown away by how full the vase is. Not some skimpy flower arrangement like other websites. I don't even mind that the flowers delivered don't look too much like the photo online. My mother is happy! ***Update*** My mother sent me photos of some of the flowers that look old and wilted. :( read more

Mostly satisfied. Had done a lot of online comparison shopping for the perfect bouquet for my grandma's 90th birthday and Happy Rose Florist had many selections that gave you the best bang for your buck -- in other words, they offered large arrangements at very decent prices compared to most other florists. Now, I understand that there are some flowers that aren't in season at certain times of the year and substitutions are made (which was made known to me when I called and placed the order and I appreciate that clarification) but the arrangement I received - although large - did not quite look like the photo presented on the website. The lady who helped me with the order and card was very patient and accommodating. I just wished the bouquet received looked closer to what was pictured. Overall: good experience. Would buy from here again~ "Arrangement 52" read more

Beautiful arrangements by Zari. I just wanted a nice set up and she went out of her way to make this arrangement of flowers for me. Be sure to stop by, she's incredibly friendly. This will be my spot for buying flowers for my girlfriend now. Thanks, Zari! read more

After a horrific experience up the street at Altadena Florist, I stopped by Happy Rose to obtain a floral arrangement/decoration for my baby shower cake. It was tricky because my color scheme was dark blue, light blue and white and obviously flowers do not readily and easily come in those colors. They listened carefully to what I wanted and made it happen. I was provided with a beautiful arrangement on the spot and could not be happier with the service and the price point. This will be my go-to florist from now on. read more

BY FAR!! the best flower shop I have came across! mind you, I buy a lot of flowers and arrangements. I cannot say this enough, they are amazing. All the girls I have dealt with there have gone above and beyond! They have custom made my arrangements, all of them, and they all have been gorgeous! Delivery same day, ON TIME! SO sweet and nice, helpful and talented! They go above and beyond and send me pics of the arrangement before they send it. FRESH AND GORGEOUS flowers. I will not get flowers anywhere else! This is my flower shop. Prices are amazing also, BTW! I told them they were for my boyfriend and they were able to create beautiful yet masculine arrangements! Love this place! read more
