Great owner. Matt is awesome. The food is to die for. Can't think of a better atmosphere. https://youtu.be/juto9_cFlSs?si=rKjUx9uH6OJnGym8

This is the second time now we have come here to get the burger specials on Tuesdays. The ice tea is good here and so are the burgers. The service was fast again. They play country music and have a big bar and gaming room.

My husband and I were actually on our way to a pizza shop last weekend, that we have yet to try, when we decided instead to go to Durango Grill. I'd read somewhere that they were very good, so we got sidetracked and ended up here. Meh...maybe we should have went with the pizza. Pulling up, the parking lot is not that attractive. But let's not hold that against them. After all, we shouldn't judge a book by its cover. I generally love little hole in the walls; and especially have a soft spot for sports bar. I wouldn't say this is a 'sports bar'. There are a couple of TVs, but I would just say this is a bar; a small bar at that. Nothing fancy and that's okay. If the food and service would have rocked my boots, I'd have definitely visited again and again, but unfortunately, I was left with something to be desired. Let's not say bad; it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. My main issue was the slow service. I mean, we sat and sat before anyone acknowledged us. It was like they had lead in their boots. After that, food wasn't terribly long coming out. The waitress/bartender did come over once (and I mean literally once) to check on us. Okay, we were good overall. My husband could have used a refill sometime after that, but it is what it is. I had gotten a water with lemon and he ordered an unsweetened iced tea. For our appetizer, we went with the mozzarella cheese sticks. They weren't even in my top 10 best cheese sticks. They were okay at best. We happened to be there for 1/2 price appetizers, so that was cool. For our entree, we got the bacon cheddar burger with fries. The fries were excellent. I wish I could say the same with the burger. I probably would have loved it more if it didn't have a fish aftertaste. I'm not sure why I kept tasting fish (if it were the bun or the burger), but there was a fishy taste to my burger...something fishy was going on. The place is not child appropriate (not even in the middle of the afternoon). I heard some really vulgar language during our dine in experience that made both my husband and I chuckle. We're grown; we can handle it. But I certainly wouldn't want my stepdaughter or grandkids in there to hear some of the things that were coming out of those old guys mouths. Prices were excellent! A real value for the amount of food that you get; I must say that! The sign on the door was a little disturbing. My bottom line? Food was decent; not great. Prices are excellent. Atmosphere is lacking. If you love the hole in the wall bar, this place is for you. We may return, but likely not. Just not our scene.

Karaoke Jockey Kenny Wayne singing intro song for Karaoke night on Wednesdays

Been coming here on Wednesday nights for Karaoke from 8:30pm to 11:30pm.Everyone supports all the singers no matter what they sing or how they sound. The feeling is, if you are brave enough to get up there to sing, you deserve an applause. The food and drinks are reasonable. The staff is very friendly and helpful if you're trying to remember a drink. There is an outdoor patio for those who need to smoke. Plenty of free parking. Come by and try your hand at sounding a tune. Good fun good food and good people.

This place is a hidden hidden treasure. It looks fairly unassuming and is located in one of the less than fancy plazas off of Plank Road. But man oh man - the food is good! There's a game area and lots of military memorabilia (USMC). The place has a home-like feel. The downside of that is that the patrons tend to stare at new folks. Again - the food is delicious and the prices are amazingly low. I would have given 5 stars if the waitress had introduced herself. Definitely going to return for more

Great food. It's definitely a bar so there's sometimes loud language, and the ambiance isn't great, but the food never disappoints.

Holy YUMMMM!!! The service was a bunch of teenagers or college students working their summer job but still incredibly nice, helpful, and eager to please. It was pretty hot outside so we opted to sit inside - the tables were a bit cramped but I loved the old school, chill vibe in there. I can't wait for fall so we can sit outside and enjoy a cold shake and burgers. We will most definitely be returning!

Service was quick and easy to order and not long to get food after placing order. My classic was cooked perfectly and loved the pickled red onions. Got an order of mozzarella sticks and wow they had the perfect cheese pull. My husband got the BBB and waffle fries - again cooked right and flavorful. We saw a few people getting milkshakes and wanted one but after eating had no room, so will make a trip one day just to get shakes! Our experience was good... give it a try.

Zoey worked diligently and had the gift of gab in the best way. She knows how to get people to start talking and was attentive in the right way. I was very pleased to have found this place (through Yelp!) since I don't visit Fredericksburg often. I was also glad that my wife had no problem finding something to her liking, a Cali Turkey Burger. We would definitely frequent this place if we lived closer!

They had some seasonal drinks that we tried, which were good, but we really loved some of their staples like the rose quarts spritz and the London fog sour. The service was a little off the night we came in - timing issues with getting food out and lots of drama/comments between the staff. Nothing that was so off putting I wouldn't come back though! The space is cozy, with a nice mix of tables, bar seating, and comfy couches. Their cocktail menu is full of fun holiday options, and the small plates menu offers plenty to choose from if you're hungry. I ordered the London Fog Sour, the classic crab dip, and the birria eggrolls. The London Fog Sour might honestly be one of my favorite cocktails I've had downtown--I loved it so much I ordered a second one. I'll be going back just for that drink. The crab dip was its usual reliable, delicious self, and the birria eggrolls were flavorful and packed with meat. Our server was fantastic and helped us decide which small plates to try. Overall, Harry's Sidecar is an excellent choice if you're looking for an intimate spot to enjoy happy hour, whether you're solo or with a group. I absolutely recommend giving it a try!

If you're in the area, go here. You will not be disappointed…read more Went here on a date night and everything was fantastic. It has a great rustic feel with a multi-level bar back and high and low seating. Our waiter, James, was great. It was our first time and we made it right before happy hour ended and grabbed loaded tots and drinks. The tots were amazing and the drinks were fantastic. My wife grabbed the Newton Cosmo, which, while delicious, was too sweet for her, and James took it back and got her a mint julep instead for no charge. For dinner she had the Caesar wedge salad with a rare steak, I had the Ramsay Bolton burger. Both delicious and portions are incredible, especially for the price. Also asked James for a bourbon flight after dinner. He listened to what bourbons I had tried before and promptly recommended a flight and how to go about tasting it.
