They matched the mortar color perfectly and it looks great. What an improvement!. Now I only wonder why I didn't get it done it sooner. The price was reasonable, and the communication about the scheduling and price was very easy. Despite their best efforts to get the work done early, it rained on the wet concrete at the end of the second day. They came back early the next morning to fix the damaged cement so it blends perfectly with the rest of the porch cement. Very conscientious. It was clear that everyone on the crew was diligent and fastidious about the details, and they really wanted it to look good and last a long time.

Miguel asked tons of questions to make sure he understood my vision of what I wanted - he even did a "test drive" with a car similar in size to mine to make sure the circle was large enough to accommodate the turn! I wanted permeable pavers and he offered choices that go perfectly with the colors of my house. Miguel is very good at keeping you informed of the project's status; he and his crew work really efficiently but they don't skimp on any details or excellence. As part of this latest project, Miguel poured a new concrete base for the deck steps (the previous owner had simply placed the bottom of the wood stair on bare ground!) and he added to the concrete area underneath the deck that he constructed previously, so I can more easily pull out my trash bins. We work with master gardeners and designers so we don't generally hire LJ for landscaping. The total paid to LJ including labor and supplies was approx $30,000. Many of the projects were completed to our delight, some to our satisfaction, and most recently we noticed a slip in quality. Overall we recommend LJ. And would suggest Ro anyone engaging them to walk everything down - grading, elevation, proper footing, dimensions, methods TWICE. Go over everything twice.
