Now I am having to contact my credit card company to file fraud charges against this company. Again stay away, there are many other options that perform better and cheaper rates.

Wait, my water has too much sodium, ferrous iron, nitrates, lead, fluoride and organic contaminants!?! Where do I begin to explain how difficult wading through all the information regarding having high quality and clean water was? Why did no one tell me if I moved across town I would need this expensive system? And then to be required to pay a significant amount of hard earned cash towards something I know little about is .. well, extremely difficult for this skeptic to do. Not only that, when researching water purification I constantly ran across forums warning of the business practices in this industry. Who do you trust? Frankly, it was too much during that move-out/move-in week and I had a meltdown. Total and completely. Then I dried my eyes, put my big girl panties on, and turned to Yelp. I will spare you the drama of all those calls, but lemme just say one of them wanted $498 to come and to "service" my equipment and could not tell me what that included because she was simply a scheduler. Huh? No. Then I called Water Event. Every. Single. Interaction. was flawless. I felt heard, respected, cared for, encouraged, and empowered. What a class act company all the way through. The entire team at Water Event has a customer first attitude that this customer appreciates so much! If I have issues with my reverse osmosis system, or need a new filter I will come to them. If I want to upgrade my RainSoft system, these will be the guys I trust to steer me in the right direction and make that happen for the best price. If I ever need to have my RainSoft system serviced this will be the company that I call. If I just have a question about purified water I know what number to dial! Water Event are the water experts. I feel confident about the system I have, how to use it, how to care for it and when to call for help. That kinda makes me my home's water expert, right? The most important thing is I know that the water coming into my home is safe for my family's health and for my wallet. That in itself is priceless. I want to send a special shout out to Terry who went above and beyond, is so extremely knowledgeable and has a passion to share that knowledge, he has such great spirit and a enthusiastic approach. Also to Luis who had the good judgement to call in Terry. I trust this company, and will be a customer for life. Keep up the great work!

Here's the story: Met with Andrew twice in early November to walk him through a number of things I was looking to get done to an old house I purchased. Moving water/drains, hot water heater, gas, etc. Andrew seemed like a great guy at the time, down to earth, confident he could get all the work done in a timely manner. I've never misread someone so badly. I sent Andrew half the total cost of the project on November 13th for materials and to get started on the work, with the rest to be paid upon completion of the work. He said he'd be getting started that weekend on the project. Instead, it turned out to be one excuse after another about why he never showed up when promised to do the work. He became increasingly difficult to get a hold of. He stopped answering my phone calls, always promised via text to call me back later, and never did. This continued for two months until early January. In order to get a hold of him, I had to call from google voice numbers he didn't have. On Friday, January 10th, I finally got a hold of someone (I believe his wife) and told them I did NOT want him performing any work and asked for my money back. I was told he would return the materials the following Monday (Jan 13th) and would get a refund a few days later. That turned into "no later than Wednesday (Jan 22nd)". It's now Jan 31st, I still don't have the money returned to me, hence the legal action against Andrew. To sum it all up, Andrew repeatedly lied to me about starting work, calling me back, his plumbing license (it's expired), pulling permits for the job, sending me any kind of documentation, and now he's literally stolen my money. Do business with this man at your own risk.

He left the old hot water heater in my attic because he was alone that day and needed help to take it out. After having to call them from my google voice number to answer (which was extremely shady in its own right) I finally got him to come back out and at that time asked him when someone would be coming to inspect. He said "pulling a permit is not a problem. I'll handle it soon." And it is easy to pull a permit if you're a licensed plumber, BUT ANDREW IS NOT. So he tells me his license had expired, and he was going to get everything fixed and that I'd get my permit. But even after multiple heated calls, that day never came. Eventually, by October 20th, I had to get another plumbing service, Legacy Plumbing, to come look at the hot water heater. At first glance, their plumber told me that the work would have never passed inspection anyway. So, I gladly paid them about $550 dollars to fix the work. 2 days later, I had the inspector in my house and we had passed inspection. I disputed charges from Planet Earth Plumbing with my CC company and I'm filing a complaint with the Texas State Board of Plumbing. Before you hire any plumber, don't make the mistake I did, and look them up here: https://tsbpe.texas.gov/portfolio/find-a-license-registration/

It didn't even last a year before the heating element cracked... When I reached out, no one responded for a week, before I could get someone out to just come and access it. Upon inspection it was the heating element that had cracked. Rheem had them on back order, so Jeff's colleague, Antonio researched and found a replacement element, that was available the next day and made every effort to get our water heater repaired asap, before the weekend. Antonio is responsive, professional and helps in a timely manner. Jeff didn't respond for a week. We were without hot water for 10 days! The water heater never got to the set temperature of 129°, it would only get to 102°, which I don't feel sanitizes my dishes and clothes. Fast forward to less than 2 weeks later and the water heater stopped heating entirely again! I reached out to Jeff on Thursday (6/25) and still haven't heard a word from him. Thankfully, I have Antonio's contact info, as he actually is responsive and responds within minutes. My issue is I reported it not heating last Thursday, this go round, the part has to be ordered and they don't know how long it will be before it gets here. I call BS, as I ran a maintenance and construction company for 17yrs and I know all of the verbal jargon used by vendors to delay repairs/replacement of parts... I've heard them all... So we're on day 6 without hot water and no idea how much longer we're going to be without a hot shower, hot water to wash dishes or our clothes! So extremely frustrating!
