Stopped by on a Thursday night for a quick brow cleanup and unfortunately had a very poor experience. I was seen by a new technician and asked about her experience before proceeding. She told me the service was $14 and that she had about one year of experience. I was already hesitant and honestly should have walked away. Neither Ranju nor Asmita were available. I asked if Natasha would be returning and was told she now works at the DuPont location. I also asked for a punch card but was not given one--and didn't bother reminding her, as I have no plans to return. The entire appointment lasted about three minutes. I asked her to redo my brows twice, but they were still bushy, and I didn't want to risk her over-messing them up. I don't think she understood me. I even had to ask if she would trim at the end. She also threaded the bottom of both brows incorrectly, in the wrong direction. I've been a longtime client of Aparnez, but since most of the good technicians have left, I was looking for a nearby alternative. Unfortunately, this was not it. I see no difference at all in my brows, and the $14 was a complete waste. I will not return. read more

Both technicians were professional and accommodating to my needs. However, they did not leave my eyebrows to desired shape.

This branch of DuPont Threading is 7mins walk from the U Street Station. It's super clean, with enough 6inch space between the seats. It's important to me that precautions for Covid are in place and I was impressed with the facilities put it place to promote hygiene and safety. Uneven eyebrows!! My experience at the 14th St location was horrible. I stressed to the threader that I loved the shape I did not want them too thin, so to just cleanup. She finished in ~3 minutes. Once I got home I saw she took a chunk out of my left eyebrow, it's completely uneven. I called and spoke to Natasha. She said the threader blamed the direction of my eyebrow hairs... No one has ever had that same problem. It was a poor excuse, the threader just did not take the time to do a good job. read more

DPT used to be the gold standard--fast, friendly reasonably-priced services. Not anymore. The past three waxes I've had weren't just expensive, they were rushed and careless. This time around, the aesthetician was on the phone with family while waxing, called hairs that required tweezing "ingrown," and didn't understand the language well enough to take feedback. I love DuPont Threading! I've been going to the DuPont for years now and am really excited about this new 14th street location. The location is really clean plus my technician was masked and washed her hands prior to assisting me. She took care to make sure my eyebrows were shaped properly and I was really happy with the way they looked. I even got a compliment on them on my work video call the next day! The eyebrow threading is $13. That's the only service I have tried with DuPont Threading. The location is in a walkable area and easily accessible via the U Street metro, the 52/54/59 bus route, and the McPherson-Woodley Park circulator. read more

Visited for my first time today and despite having my last threading done months ago due to COVID, I left with perfectly shaped and cleaned brows. Trash! Basura! I should've trusted my instincts especially when I saw her uneven brow. Radhika made my eyebrows uneven and had the nerve to tell me they weren't. I don't know where people go in DC to get their eyebrows done but this ain't it! I asked her to clean it up and I walked out with this! When it took her less than 5 minutes I gave her the benefit of doubt and thought she had done exactly what I asked and just cleaned up-but nope, it took her less than 5 minutes to mess up my eyebrows! Then she tries gaslight me and say they were even and offered me rose water. She shouldn't be doing eyebrows for a living! Have her do lips or some but this is unacceptable!!!!!! I don't feel a rage ever and I don't believe in hell but there is a special place in the afterlife for people who fuck up eyebrows!!!! Literally no matter which location I go to, my eyebrows always turn out amazing!! I stopped by after growing out my brows from a bad wax. Even after growing them out they were still thin looking. I was worried to the point that I was considering microblading (I'm so dramatic ) but DuPont Threading got me back to thick beautiful brows. They look so good and thick now almost like I got them tinted! I am extremely happy!!! I usually go to the DuPont location but I plan on making this location my new go to. Really happy this place opened on 14th! The location is extremely convenient and they do a great job. I got eyebrow and upper lip threading and the total was $20. I think because they are new I was able to walk in and be taken care of right away but I can see that changing as more people find out about it. Definitely recommend! read more

I just went here for the first time (and first time getting threaded during COVID). It was extremely clean and professional. My temperature was checked on arrival and the eyebrow technician washed her hands, then sanitized them. She wore two masks & sanitized once she was done again. I've been a loyal customer for the past 12 years and had to visit the new location today on their grand opening. As always, they take the proper Covid safety precautions when you enter (thermometer check), during appointment (mask at all times) and upon exit (cleaning/sanitizing). The customer service is professional & friendly. And my brows are always threaded to perfection!!! I don't live in the District, but I travel the extra 35 minutes to DuPont Threading because they are consistent with delivering impeccable service and they care about my eyebrows. I used to love DuPont Threading! I used to live in Columbia Heights, and my friend recommended their CH location to me, and I really liked the technician there. However, then I moved to 14th street, and was so excited when their 14th street location opened. However, I have literally only been able to successfully get my eyebrows done there one time in the 9 months I've lived here (I live a block away) because this location has the spottiest hours! The hours listed here and on Google are no longer correct, and trust me, I have tried to stop in on almost every day of the week, including Saturday/Sunday, and I never know when they'll be open. Last time I was desperate and had some time, so I walked all the way up to the CH location, and whoever was there that day ended up asymmetrically arching my eyebrows. However, I gave them benefit of the doubt and said I'll try the tech at the 14th street location again. Just came back from stopping by there now, at 4:30pm, and again, not open, door locked. The most frustrating part is that whenever I call, they say their hours are still in flux. Also, THEIR OPEN SIGN LIGHT IS ON RIGHT NOW. I will definitely be looking for a new place, which is so disappointing. read more
