We all know Orange County has no shortage of cafe's, so it takes quite a bit for one to stand out…read more Sana'a Cafe absolutely does for me. Now, I'm usually a cheesecake, chocolate cake, or crème brûlée kinda gal. Tiramisu and milk cakes aren't typically my first choice, but they looked delicious in the display case that I decided to give it a shot. We ordered the Tiramisu Milk Cake and the Saffron Milk Cake, along with a couple of Rose lattes, and they completely exceeded my expectations. Light, creamy, fluffy, and perfectly balanced. Not overly sweet, not soggy or swimming in espresso...just incredibly fresh. It's one of the best I've had in a long time. Their cakes definitely set the bar high. I enjoyed the atmosphere just as much. The outdoor patio is spacious, making it a great spot to meet up with friends, bring your laptop to get a little work or studying done, or simply enjoy a coffee. The space is warm, welcoming, and filled with beautiful, unique furniture. While in there, you almost forget you're in Orange County. Highly recommend! I'll definitely be back to try their savory menu next.

It's easily the best I've had in Orange County. Moist, light, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. I'd even say it has more milk or cream than coffee. It had a potent infusion of something like vanilla or cardamom that I liked, but I wouldn't get it again. Baklava ($6.50): 5/5. The best item I got from Vanilla Street Bakery. Decently sweet with a lovely balance of nuts, dough layers, and infused syrup. I appreciated that it wasn't dripping in a sugary solution; it's definitely more balanced than other baklava I've had. Chocolate Chip Cookie ($5.20): 2/5. A very pillowy, cakey cookie, yet dry and crumbly. The flaky salt on top was a nice touch, but its overall taste and texture didn't deliver a satisfying chocolate chip cookie. Spinach-feta roll ($6.90): 2/5. Staff kindly warmed this up for me without asking, and it looked nice and savory. However, it was extremely dry, doughy, and bland, with hardly any feta. Too bland to enjoy for $7. Eclair ($7.50): 3/5. Chocolate topping and custard filling were good, but the dough was quite dry. Pricey, too! Staff were patient and knowledgeable. Interior has a quaint, cutesy look to it, with different types of seating available. I saw people catching up with friends, reading, or working, so it has a relaxing atmosphere for whatever you feel like doing. In short: most of the pastries unfortunately were very expensive and not worth the cost based on how dry and/or bland they were. Additionally, the highly anticipated Raf Coffee seemed interesting but ended up being too creamy for a coffee drink.

We tried the mango sago dessert and the double skin milk with fresh fruit--both were super fresh, not overly sweet, and had that comforting homemade texture. The mango was ripe and fragrant, and the milk pudding was silky and smooth. Drinks were also a nice surprise, especially the creamy ones like avocado milk. Rich but still easy to drink, not heavy or artificial tasting. Service was friendly and patient, even when it got a bit busy. Everything came out quickly and nicely presented. Overall, a great spot if you're craving traditional-style Chinese desserts with a modern, cute twist. Perfect for a casual sweet treat or a chill afternoon stop.

I ordered the butter cake cookie which was amazing, it was thick and fluffy. Loved how similar it was to actual cake. The snickerdoodle was also amazing, I actually ordered two of these ones but they gave me two butter cake ones. I liked how thin the snickerdoodle one was too. You can also combine the cookies of your choice with icecream and milk basically making an ice cream sandwich. They have different flavors of milk which I thought was unique too. Only takeaway is that one of the employees was being super loud with his friends who visited him, thought it was a bit rude as a customer visiting and seeing that.
