They operate The Scottsdale Trolley and today the driver was going all "United" on everyone. Yelling, Screaming and Kicking Everyone off The Trolley, refusing new passenger incoherently. She had Picked up THE BUS 2 miles to the south at Mckellipps, Yelling incoherently the entire way about being late and once she hit Thomas Rd 1 mile south of the library where I wanted to go. I was the last to jump off. I called it in and The operator seemed to already be dialed in to the mayhem. I was the last off and she hit the curb heading east and off route. Over the side walk and actually cracked the curb as the wheels peeled out on to Thomas Road. YOU CANT ALWAYS HIRE SANE BUT DUNN SHOULD HAVE DONE BETTER THEN THIS WACK DRIVER. We used Ollie the Trolley for our wedding day transportation. Overall, everything was great. It was definitely way more fun (and comfortable) than a limo. It also made for some great pictures. Our driver was also friendly and patient, especially since we were running late for our first pickup. My only complaint is with the timing on the day of our wedding. On the Thursday before our wedding, I spoke with the company to verify pickup times. I asked for a 1:45 pickup for the bride/bridesmaids then to be taken to the ceremony site. The groom/groomsmen were then to be picked up at 2:45 and taken to the ceremony site. They emailed me a confirmation of the times, so I thought we were good to go. On the day of our wedding, myself and the bridesmaids were picked up right on time. Unfortunately, at 3:10, my groom texted me that the trolley hadn't arrived yet. One of my family members then mentioned the trolley was still in the parking lot at our ceremony site. My day of coordinator ran out to tell the driver, who left immediately. Everything ended up working out, but the groom and groomsmen did have their picture time cut short. It also added some needless stress to the day. If you have multiple pickups, you may just want to be clear with the actual driver about what the schedule is. Other than that, I would recommend Ollie the Trolley. read more

Ollie the Trolley is a cool way to get around Scottsdale and the surrounding area. Especially during Spring Training when they add several more trollies and you can get around to the two stadiums in Scottsdale without having to find a parking space. Before we moved here we visited a few friends who took us on the trolley and since then it's been one of those signature Scottsdale images that I have in my mind. On behalf of Las Sendas Community Association: We had 2 trollies hired for Friday, December 15th for our community event. I have reserved trolleys every year for about the last 8 or 9 years for our holiday event at the community. Families look forward to it all year long. This year before my event even started, one of the 2 trollies I ordered broke down. In its place they sent a shuttle bus. As if it wasn't bad enough that our event started at 6pm and I did not have two trollies available for my families to see lights, they sent a shuttle which none of the kids like to ride. This is the 2nd year that has happened. I reserve trollies because that is what my families want to ride. Several years in a row they have sent me the wrong vehicle and I have had to explain how important it is that I have trollies, not shuttles, not coaches...trollies, because the kids love them. But fine, we needed a 2nd vehicle for our event. Unfortunately, this brand new shuttle that was sent was blasting hot air making it like a sauna in the shuttle for my passengers. Your driver was new and inexperienced and had no idea what was wrong or how to shut off the hot air. I had people get off the shuttle half way through because they were miserable and couldn't breathe. I had complaints that the driver was cranky. Lisa, the other trolley driver was the only saving grace and did everything she could to make the experience pleasant. My entire event was ruined by this experience and some people who have come every year, remember that last year we weren't given a trolley by mistake and then experienced this disaster and said they were done and never returning to our event. I hope you can understand how important it is for me to provide a quality event. This isn't just any job, on any day, it is Christmas time and I deeply care about our families and bringing them happiness at this time of the year. One of our families had provided a Make A Wish experience for a child with a heart murmur and he couldn't ride the shuttle bus because if he overheated, he could become fatally ill. I had to stuff him and his family in the already full trolley because the shuttle was unsuitable. I don't normally let mishaps get the best of me, but I am truly disappointed by your company. I expect so much from myself, my team, and the vendors we are loyal to, to provide a quality experience for my community. Its unfortunate that we are required to pay 100% of the fees prior to the event since it doesn't guarantee that we will get what we pay for. And after trying to get our money back for the shuttle, the best you could do was offer a refund for the 40 minutes it was late....so disappointed with your response. I guess you don't care if you lose customers. Its sad to see you don't value relationships or clients. read more

We live in Fountain Hills and had guest visiting from Nebraska. We took our friends to Old Town for sight seeing and shopping. We were leaving Fashion Square when we noticed Ollie The Trolley. We all boarded and road to OT shopping area. What a fun and pleasant experience riding the trolley was! The car was clean and the driver was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and its history. We would recommend this to everyone! What a great gift from the city of Scottsdale! I have only Yelp'ed once before but feel compelled to share my recent encounter with Dunn Transportation / Ollie the Trolley. Background: I rented 3 trollies to escort me and my wedding guests between the hotels, church and reception. Issue #1: One of the trollies broke down at the church. As opposed to communicating the problem to guests and attempting to consolidate trollies, the drivers just stood around. All guests, even those on the functioning trollies, were delayed by ~25-30 minutes until our groomsmen walked outside (we had been in the church taking pictures) and took charge of the situation. Per the owner, this was my fault because the groomsmen should have intervened sooner. Eventually two trollies left while my husband and I and half of our wedding party (we got separated from the other half in the chaos) waited behind for the replacement trolley. We were late to our own wedding reception. Issue #2: One of the drivers got lost on the drive between the church and reception. It's a 15-minute, simple route; however, she followed a path that, according to one of my guests, took 35 minutes. Per the manager, this was my fault as I should have given each driver directions between the church and reception. Issue #3: As my guests were trying to disembark, the door got stuck on one of the trollies (of course, it was the trolley that got lost). This caused my guests to be further detained. Issue #4: I politely refused their initial offer of a ~10% discount to remedy the situation - it simply wasn't enough given all the problems. I thought the conversation was to be continued; however, my credit card was charged the full amount and the manager stopped returning my calls. After 5 unreturned messages, I was finally placed in contact with the owner. She made excuses, raised her voice at me, accused me of distorting the facts, blamed me, argued with me, and recommended that I "focus on enjoying my marriage; not on a trolley that was 15 minutes late". Conclusion: Only after all this did the owner begrudgingly agree to a ~17% discount. Needless to say, I will not be using Dunn Transportation / Ollie the Trolley again. Ever. I would have happily paid the full rate plus tip had my experience been positive. Very sorry that this wasn't the case. read more

Dunn Transport broke my son's golf club during a shipment from the Westin Resort to a golf course. The driver handed the broken club to my son. I contacted Dunn Transport.and told them of the situationand we had proof and photos. Ms. Dunn, CEO, replied with the insensitive email, insinuating we were lying. Furthermore she states she got an MBA from ASU, but it is evident she skipped the class on customer etiquette. Here is the entire email reply from her. Many claims she makes below are false and please look at the last sentence in her reply. She appears ice cold not interested in the issue her poor dispostion and a fabricated story is so sad. Hello Nick As golfers, my attorney and I are having a hard time understanding how this could have happened by simply unloading clubs. The golf clubs would have been in a golf bag. The golf bag is removed from the bus and then presumably left at the golf course. Usually, the bags are stacked and leaned against a golf bag rack. The golf bag is usually secure enough that the golf clubs are not impacted or damaged, even if the golf bag is dropped or pressed against. Loved using Ollie the Trolley for wedding transportation last year! It was plenty roomy of course, but I was shocked how many people commented that they loved the fact that we used a local trolley. My husband and rely on public transportation to get us around town. We decided yesterday that we wanted to go to the Arabian horse show at Westworld. We saw that there would be a special trolley going from the princess resort to westworld so we chose to use this service. When we got to Scottsdale rd. my husband noticed the trolleys were not ADA compliant. I called the Dunn transportation. The lady dispatcher agreed that they were not using wheelchair accessible trolleys. Then she told me that in 30 minutes she would have a wheelchair van come pick us up. The woman was very pleasant each time I talked to her and gave great directions. She had no problem arranging our return trip. and our driver was great too. My Husband accidentally left his bike on the bike rack yesterday evening, and he didn't realized it until I got home from work. We always use the Trolley to commute to and from work. When we saw that it was about that time the for the buses to end their run we tried contacting the station on info about a bike left on the rack, and it seemed that we were late to get an answer back. So we contact again in the morning and luckily we got an answer right away, and informed us that the bike was safely at the shop. We were so greatful to have the bike back, and the driver who went above and beyond to make sure it was not stolen. Thank you Dunn Transportation you guys have an awesome crew. read more

I want to give a big shout out to Margaret Dunn and Dunn transport for huge help to a small non profit.. Arizona Friends of Homeless needed a larger vehicle to deliver nightly outreach support to homeless in central phoenix. Margaret Dunn donated a large tow trailer that allows us to keep blankets towels hygiene shoes socks pants tops winter jackets in shelves, a mini rolling warehouse of sorts. Unfortunate what the trolly has done to our scottsdale streets. I have lived in Scottsdale since 1995 and it seems that every year the trolly stops have gotten worse but now they will pull over anywhere and let people on or off. the proplem with this is there are no trash recepticles and the streets are being littered upon. look at these stops and you will see transients/drunks waiting for a free ride to cool down in the heat, i have seen more police at these designated stops and would not let my son or daughter ride them, they have turned to the copper square transportation system (hobo bus). this is sad to see and hope that scottsdale puts and end to this soon or fixes these issues. The stop that seems to be the worse is on Scottsrdale rd and Roosevelt. read more
