I called and spoke with josh. He told me exactly what I needed and we did the measurements together. Josh made it so easy. The cost was so in line and I am very happy! I really appreciate that this place doesn't resort to high pressure sales tactics and even though I could have found the hardware cheaper online I really appreciated the personal touch to get to know me and what I liked, rather than which line would bring in more profit. Misrepresented Door Unit Size - Delivered Oversized & Unusable, Company Refused to Resolve I…read moreordered a pre-hung door unit from United Porte specifically because the website and my order confirmation listed door size specifications that would fit the rough opening I had prepared. The listing provided only one set of dimensions/specs--no clear separate callout/nominal size versus actual unit size distinction were shown in a way that would alert a buyer. When the unit arrived, I measured it with a tape measure: the actual overall pre-hung unit dimensions are 86" wide × 97.5" tall--materially larger than the advertised 84" x 96" by several inches. It will not fit the prepared opening without major structural modifications. If it had matched the specs on the website and order, it would have installed properly. I immediately contacted the company with photos, measurements, and the product label/SKU, requesting a full refund including return shipping. Despite clear evidence of the mismatch, they refused any resolution. I am now out the full purchase price of $1347.11 for a door I cannot use, plus the time, hassle, and additional cost of sourcing a properly sized replacement. As a consumer, I expect advertised product specifications to match what is delivered. I have filed a formal complaint with the Arizona Attorney General's Consumer Protection division regarding the misleading specifications and refusal to stand behind the product representation.
