I called Lowes and they said there were 7 in stock. The next thing I found out what they decided not to do the job they agreed to do. Now, I have to start over. Lowes should not be dealing with people who do not follow up on their commitments.

We reached out to several companies for quotes and while everyone was professional and knowledgeable, Tom stood out with his attitude and clear experience; he even noticed a few things that others had missed. The quote was reasonable, not the most expensive and not the least expensive, but solid. Tom helped us design the plan of action, including removing the bathtub and replacing it with a walk in shower, and shortly thereafter the work began. What can I say other than "Wow". The main project was to replace more than two dozen rotting boards and the steps on our 20-year-old deck, ensure the structural integrity of the deck, and jack up a corner of the deck that had sunk a couple of inches. He also power-washed the deck and the siding of the house that faced the deck. We also needed work done indoors. He repaired a door frame to a bedroom, fixed a broken storm door, replaced marble tile in our foyer, installed a missing sliding closet door, and procured and installed beautiful luxury plank vinyl flooring for a bedroom. He communicated clearly with us throughout every project, made suggestions when he saw something that needed improvement, and always checked with us when a decision needed to be made. A month later, I still haven't heard from the other company. The estimation process was relatively painless, and the estimate was received about a week after the site visit. I was told it could be up to 6 weeks before I heard from the scheduler, due to their current workload. However, I was contacted on a Friday about 2 weeks later and was told that Monday had opened up for them and that a truck with the materials was already on its way to my property. Since they didn't need anyone home when the work was performed, I agreed. When I got home from work on Monday, the job was done. There was still some debris in the yard, but they did a really good job of cleaning up. I haven't found a single nail on the ground, yet. There were 30 MPH wind gusts the day of the job, so I'm surprised there wasn't more trash scattered around my 7 acres. (I'm also surprised I didn't find roofers scattered around my place!) I hope to work with them again in the future!
