I have been renovating our house that was built in 1950's and I am nearly finished. I previously…read morehired All Renovations to update my two upstairs bathrooms with the 1950's tile where they did a superb job. Additionally, All Renovations also built a front door portico addition and a detached two-car garage. Now that I am working on the basement, I decided to go with All Renovations again to update the basement bathroom; and again I am very happy with the results. The basement bathroom was in the laundry room with a washer, dryer, cabinets and a water softener system making it a tight squeeze for the space. Upon viewing the construction options with Adrian of All Renovations, he thought of moving the water softener system to an adjacent hallway closet. This allowed dividing the space into a separate bath with a nearly 3' x 6' shower while maintaining a full laundry room with a utility sink as well. Adrian with his "can do" attitude was a real champ at getting the work done. He also is very detailed with his work and makes sure things are completed correctly - a true compliment to the All Renovations team. If you are considering hiring professionals for your home improvement project, you won't go wrong with All Renovations. I am very pleased their work and I recommend them with full confidence.

I'm a bit puzzled by the owner's response as they should be able to see from their own email system…read morethat they had not replied to my last email. Since that email contained critical conditions for repair (see review above), the lack of a reply made it unclear that repairs would be made at all. However, since my review, they reached out directly, gave an explanation for the delay and told me that I had been in the queue for repairs. Unfortunately, since it had already been months since the project finished and I had not received a reply to my last email, I had already begun to handle the warranty issues myself. I appreciated their subsequent offer to reimburse me for my time and effort on warranty repairs and their statement of intention to address the additional claims (which they said that they had not addressed until now as they had hoped to handle them at the same time as the warranty issues). The star rating in this case is for their improved customer service, but the original review for the work on the project remains unchanged. [I also want to address the implication in the owner's response, which is that posting a negative review is only used for dispute resolution. I was not using it for that purpose, as should be evident from the fact that I had moved ahead with repairs, nor do I think that that's a good reason for a review. Sharing experiences is how people learn, and detailed reviews can be useful for homeowners in preparing for home repairs, whether or not they use the reviewed provider. The more information provided, the easier it is to assess a review's value and apply it to one's own situations if useful. ]

Alex came to our house and gave us an estimate to repair our front steps and told us they would last a very long time. A few days later, his workers showed up, unannounced, asking what they needed to do. I told them I have no idea, and my husband is not home, and to coordinate a time with him. A few days later (on a Sunday), they showed up unannounced again! My husband was out again! They asked me to pick a paint color and I asked if that is included in the price we were quoted and they said they didn't know. As I was trying to figure that out, it came out that they don't think repairing the stairs is a good idea and they can't even guarantee they won't break again for even 3 days. I asked if it would be a lot more expensive to redo the whole thing and they said it would be exponentially more expensive. I told them we'll talk to Alex and get back to them. 30 minutes later, Alex calls my husband screaming at him! He told him that we shouldn't ask his contractors about prices and that he doesn't work that way and that we should find someone else to work with and hung up the phone on my husband! He was literally screaming at my husband on the phone. And then hung up on him. There are so many issues with our experience starting with the fact that the workers kept showing up without prior notice and asking a lot of questions as if they didn't know what they were supposed to be doing. And then of course the fact that he was trying to scam us into doing something that he knew might not even last the week. And then finally, calling my husband and screaming at him and hanging up on him because his workers were asking us a lot of questions?! It's just been an atrocious experience. I recommend avoiding him at all costs. UPDATE: Alex is now threatening my husband over text messages because of our review. We are just stating facts. He said we are inappropriate to contact him on a Sunday when it was his contractors who showed up at our doorstep, unannounced, on a Sunday, and we were just calling to clear things up with him because they had no idea what they were supposed to do and were asking me a lot of questions. He also accused us of trying to strike a deal with his subcontractors, something that didn't cross our minds for one second. We were just trying to figure out if the paint his contractors were making me choose was included in the estimate he provided us.

He did my full BATHROOM, but failed to mention that he DIDNT LEAVE IT FUNCTIONAL. He left it without hot water in the sink, no running water in the shower, the toilet was unstable, grout looking like sh!t on the floor, and instead of putting the sink pvc piping behind the wall, his lazy a$$ left it in the bathroom and just drilled massive holes into and throughout our vanity. If I had to sum up Bella Homes in just a few words, it would be this:…read more Our family dream home. Bella Home Design is comprised of the perfect team absolutely dedicated to making your dream home become a reality. As busy as they were managing multiple home projects, Marco and his team were truly dedicated in attending to our desires and genuinely GENUINELY cared. They didn't nickel and dime us, but from the beginning I always got the vibe that their greatest satisfaction was seeing their customer absolutely LOVE their home. And we ABSOLUTELY LOVE our home. 150%! When we first came across the house we bought it was about 50% complete. It had the foundation, framing, and roof completed. Initially, we thought the house was a bit too big for what we were going for, but the architectural design and layout of the home honestly made the house a perfect fit for us. We came in at just the right time where we were able to make some design tweaks (i.e. remove elevator design, modify master bedroom closet, modify formal living room for an office, modify a wine room into a storage space, etc). Additionally, we were able to make selections for all the bathrooms, accents walls, mud rooms, wet bar, coffee bar, butler pantry, and much more. As a Naval Officer, I take a lot of pride in being a man of integrity. Therefore, I want to be completely honest. Was there bumps along the way? For sure. But when you're building your dream home, and its not an actual custom home build - there will be some bumps. I would take these bumps every single time as opposed to going through the pains of a new construction custom build that comes with a lot of risks. With that said, every bump was able to be communicated and worked out. When I say Marco has a team truly dedicated to attending to our desires - he has a great team. Tony, their CFO, was not too busy to get his hands dirty and took the time to work on some requests and/or discrepancies. He is a man that takes a lot of pride in punctuality and timelines, but he is also a man that prides on delivery a quality product to his customers. Darren, one of their designers, was so responsive and upbeat - he was an absolute pleasure to work with and provided timely responses. In a time where supply chain issues are present, Bella Homes did a remarkable job in planning ahead and delivering a quality product to its customers. What made this experience even better was the fact that they valued my input and often sought my input. What an amazing feeling it was to walk into a home that you felt like was a custom build, and not having to feel like you have to hire a bunch of contractors after closing to do a bunch of remodeling. For those in the military and are familiar with performance reviews, as a senior Lieutenant Commander in the Navy with 16 years of service I would give Bella Homes my absolute HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION for building you your next home. From the quality workmanship to the communication and genuine desire to perfect (as reasonable as possible) our dream home, we will forever be grateful for the home they delivered to us. Thank you Marco, Tony, and the remarkable Bella Home Design crew. You truly built us our dream home!
