My son hadn't eaten for awhile because he wanted his teeth to be clean and his sugar dropped in the office. I was afraid he was gonna pass out but one of the kind and awesome staff gave him a bar to help with his sugar. I wanted to kiss them all I was so Grateful. We arrived a bit early (lunchtime) and they were still kind enough to allow us in so I could fill out the paperwork. I love the location and staff and see they even have extra services for me (Botox, fillers ect) so I definitely will be looking into some ME time when I go in. They pulled the same move with the insurance on my sister. We all have great union insurances... damn near full coverage. We all switched. I personally chose North Beach Dental. They got my entire dental plan completed in 2 months and charged me a fraction for the whole job than what I was quoted at Gentle Family which was well over 10k in work that they quoted me. So unless you're rich and white I highly suggest you stay away from these scamming ass people.

Can I tell you after coming here how much I am kicking myself in the tush?! This office is the most professional, exceptional wonderful place that I have ever experienced in my life !! The first thing that was a shocker was that the dentist actually does a cancer check he checked my mouth. He checked my tongue. He checked everything and that was a total shocker because I've never in my life. Had that happened before. . Today I had two cavities refilled and having asthma I have a strong smell for everything. My nose is very sensitive and all I could smell was clean. Everything was so clean. . Not an overwhelming smell, but a sanitary clean and I was so relaxed and comfortable.. I'm selfish and don't want to Share my new secret place, but I have told so many coworkers and friends about Dr Tyler . He is truly a professional. He truly has professional employees working with him and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this Dentist . He's very short and irritable with his responses. Sometimes, he just nods his head yes or no due to him being so annoyed. Also, this was my very first time having any surgery in my entire life! I had NO clue how this would go. Dr. Michael Choi was not vocal at all during the procedure to make me feel comfortable. For an example, I did not know when I would get stuck with a needle to be numb, which needle would hurt more than the other, when a tooth has been removed and when we were moving on to the next. The only thing he was vocal about was when he needed me to "turn my head to the left." The amount of tension in the room from his irritable face expressions and body language made me and in my opinion, his assistants very uncomfortable and feel like a burden during a extremely scary and stressful time for me as a first time surgery patient. The second Doctor Michael Choi stepped back, I did not know we were finished. I asked him "are we done?" He did not vocally tell me yes like he never vocally responds, all he did was nod his head. He asked if I had any questions then quickly exited the room. I would never recommend anyone especially if it's their first time to Doctor Michael Choi. It was an extremely difficult and heart aching experience with him as my doctor on top of already being extremely nervous ALL MONTH and never having any kind of surgery AT ALL in my entire life. I pray whatever he has going on in his personal life does not continue to fall over in his place of profession. Those most kind, caring, understanding, patient, and exceptional dental staff I have EVER…read moreencountered. I suffer from PTSD, anxiety disorder, and severe dental anxiety. I have never had a dental staff cater to my wants and my needs, mentally or emotionally. Dr. Wood, Stephanie, Angela, and all staff have not only made it possible for me to have the work I need done, but they have created a loving and accepting environment about me as the patient. They dont deserve my drama; but they have never made me feel less for my fears, only lifted me up and gave the power back to me that I never knew I had. Helping me focus on the outcome instead of the fear. They make me want to keep going back. And that's a HUGE deal for someone who has suffered so much trauma and judgment from other offices. I'm so blessed, relieved, and thankful to have found my lifelong dental office. I will NEVER have another as long as they are around. They make you feel wanted and cared about. They prioritize YOUR wants and needs above their own. I am humbled and in awe of this office. Thank you all for changing my life and giving me a true reason to smile! .
