Quick run to Dunkin Donuts this am for a bagel. There were a few cars in the drive thru side decided to go in. The location is at the north end of small strip mall. The front of the building has tables for hanging out and eating. There are two sets of doors. Inside the facility straight ahead is the counter and donuts behind that. To the right of that is Baskin Robbins ice cream and the freezer with cakes. Just inside the door to the right is seating inside and past the seating is the rest rooms. The staff was very friendly and the food was ready quickly. Presentation was nice as well. Sadly, the facility isn't in the best of shape. The walls are damaged and they need to repairs and painted. read more

Was not impressed with the service here. Came in to order some ice cream and was greeted by an employee. She wasn't rude but not necessarily friendly either. She asked what we wanted and started scooping something else, and when we told her she was scooping the wrong ice cream we got a scolding on what mint chocolate chip ice cream was as if it was our fault. Then the employee was having difficultly taking the ice cream out so she took the canister out and set it on top of the other ice creams. The bottom of it was touching the other ice cream and then as she was scooping it, her apron kept dipping into our ice cream cups. I just didn't find this to be very sanitary. The place smelled a few Sundays ago and they told me a glove had melted on something, both bathrooms were locked and nobody could find either key, the floor was filthy by the order counter, actually had food chunks smashed on the floor. We were here to dine in for breakfast sandwiches and coffee on Sunday 10/23/22 at approximately 9:30am. The female employee had no personality whatsoever. We received our sandwiches and selected a seat. I went back to the pick up line to wait for the coffee. There were 5 employees (1 male, 4 females) all clueless. I finally received our coffee 5 minutes later (there were no other customers for dine in). We were observing the employees as we were eating. A customer had walked in and was not greeted in a timely fashion. Other customers walked in and now there's a long line. All employees appeared to have no urgency to assist the customers. Went to Dunkin Donuts today and I was in a very big surprise it was the one on Sheridan and 21st Street in Zion Illinois pull up to the Monroe told the woman what I want to because of course if dining is not open and I got the donuts but at a price for a dozen donuts of $16.04 when their website says 11 something everything else I see online says $11.59 or something like that so why all of a sudden is a dozen of donuts from Dunkin Donuts that aren't even made fresh daily 1604 my husband said from now on we can go up to Walmart and get a dozen for five bucks read more

I will never be coming back to this location, while staff is nice and fast this is not the first time my order was messed up. I put in a mobil order on the app and came to pick it up, and while staff was more than friendly and polite I swear they prepared our order in a rush in the dark. I had two cinnamon raisin bagels and the new matcha strawberry boba drink for the hubs, a sourdough breakfast sandwich, and a blueberry oat milk latte They said they were out of the blueberry flavoring when I got there, disappointing (and if they're out of stock in store then their app needs to reflect that as well) but whatever, I can settle for carmel. My sourdough bread must've been out of stock too but they didn't say anything about it and when returning home I saw it was replaced with my hubs cinnamon raisin bagels. Regular bagels would've been one thing but the cinnamon was just a disgusting gross combination. My poor husband didn't even get them though as both of his were plain. My iced latte was overly sweet and while it had ice in it it was warm as if they made it hot then dumped ice in it. It was supposed to have cold brew in it so I have no idea how it was warm in the first place but they defied physics with warm hot coffee in a icey cold to the touch cup. The matcha drink was actually cold but there was almost no strawberry boba in it and none would come up through the straw. A waste of $6 if you ask me (why is one large drink a whole six dollars anyways?!) As I said this is not the first food quality issue I've had from them, they seem to be worst during the weekend and busy hours which is understandable but still not great. I'll be making the hike elsewhere for my coffee from now on. Edit: I tried calling the store but they wouldn't even pick up. The donuts are not even close to the way that they started their franchises back in the 70 cuz I had one in 1976... and the mono was fresh every four hours what happened to that? Now they don't even bake them on site they have them shipped in already 12 hours old by the time you get them at least. My FIRST TIME visiting this Dunkin (Tue. 2/04 approx. 4PM). I am from Kenosha and visited (Hwy 50 and 41st. Ave.) my local Dunkin and they were completely out of Munchkins. Dunkin is running a special 10 Munchkins for $2.00. I have an errand in Zion,IL. so I stop at this location. I got a mixture of Chocolate, Powdered Sugar and Jelly Filled Munchkins. When I got home I tried these Munchkins THEY WERE HORRIBLE. The Chocolate were DRIED OUT AND STALE. The Powdered Sugar WERE THE WORST THEY TASTED LIKE EATING SAWDUST. The outside of the Munchkin was firm, dry and crunchy and TASTED AWFUL. They Jelly filled were tough dried out frosted dough. THESE MUNCHKINS WERE THE WORST DONUTS I HAVE EVER EATEN. I have a small child, who is a little obsessed with Dunkin lately, thanks to TV commercials. To give you an idea, she got all excited over seeing Dunkin Donuts cups on the judge's table on America's Got Talent. So when I was passing by, it seemed like it would be an inexpensive way to make a toddler's day, to stop and get some Munchkins. The parking lot in this particular strip is a pain. It doesn't have enough parking, and seemingly lacks enough space to maneuver in and out (and I can park like a pro in Chicago, so it's saying something when I'm complaining about parking) (no, really, my other half witnessed my parallel parking the other day, and just said "I could never do that." My parking ability is one of the things I take a bit of pride in.) I go into the location, and it's void of customers. No problem. In and out, right? I already know I just want a small order of donut holes, in chocolate (or "chaw-quit" as I anticipate my daughter proclaiming when I give them to her.) and to get out before I make a larger purchase which I'm sure my taste buds would appreciate, but my hips would not. Employee #1 comes up to the counter, talking on the phone. Now to be fair, I can't tell if it is a personal or business call, but my personal experience in customer service tells me that asking the call to hold on while you help the customer in front of you us usually a good practice. This is not what she does, but asks me to hold on and walks off. Employee #2 eventually comes up to me, and asks if I've been helped. After answering her, she threw #1 a dirty look, and helped me. The look may not have been so professional, but it made me feel a bit better and slightly amused. I order my Munchkins and head out. I got stuck waiting to attempt to get out of the parking lot, and the temptation was too much to poke inside the bag. #2 gave me twice as many Munchkins as I had purchased, which literally and figuratively took some of the bad taste out of my mouth from this visit. read more

Would've rated them no stars, if that were an option. Every time I've gone there, the service has been HORRIBLE. They're always rushed and SO rude. Tried to take my son there for ice cream at 8pm after a movie, and the doors are locked. No sign saying they're closed or that only the drive through is open, just the one that says they close at 11pm. Maybe I misread, maybe not, but it only makes me angrier that the girl behind the counter just stood there giggling to herself. Its not funny, its yet again terrible service. Snottiest people in Lake County. Hardly anybody speaks English and none of them know their own menu or price lists. They run out of everything on a regular basis and never make a drink the same way nor do they ever charge according to their own price list. Pitiful.
