Aroma Joe's is a New England coffee chain with a location inside the Wrentham outlet mall, and as a…read morequick caffeine stop while I was shopping it served its purpose. I walked up to the counter and found the coffee straightforward. The line moved at a reasonable pace even when it got busy, which mattered when I was trying to keep a shopping day moving. Staff were generally friendly and the service had an easygoing quality to it that made the interaction pleasant enough. The coffee itself was decent but not something I would go out of my way for. It hit the mark for a grab and go order without doing anything particularly memorable. I found the espresso drinks to be the more reliable option over some of the other menu items, and sticking to the basics yielded better results than venturing too far into the specialty drink territory. The one thing worth knowing before I went is that this location does not have indoor seating. The space has room but no tables or chairs, which makes it purely a take away stop. If I had been planning to sit down and take a break from shopping, this would not have been the place for that. It worked fine as a pickup and keep moving kind of stop. For a chain coffee option inside an outlet mall, it is a reasonable choice when I need something quick. There are better coffee destinations in the Boston area worth seeking out, but as a convenience stop while already at Wrentham, it does the job.

Service was quick. Coffee was good. They offer several coffee and non-coffee beverages, hot and cold, along with donuts, muffins and the like. Store was clean. No restrooms - customers us the Outlet Mall public toilets. It's a bit of a walk from parking if all you want is a coffee without shopping.

Honestly, this is refreshing as corporations understaff and stress their employees. This local owner know what we the patrons want, we want people who are happy with their jobs and that's done by great staffing. This is my go to for any gift. Yes, you're paying more for a book than you would on Amazon but this is the opposite of a greedy corporation who screws everyone. This is truly local and I'm lucky to live 20 mins away.

My friend and I went on a weekday night, about 2 hours before closing so it was pretty quiet. I initially thought the bookstore was only on the first floor of the building but turns out it's a multi-story experience. There is a parking lot at the back where I parked and I was able to enter through the back door (not sure if this is the main entrance). On the first floor, they have some books, bathrooms, a check out desk, nick nacks (hats, stationery, puzzles, etc.), and most importantly, a coffee shop. The coffee shop was closing up around the time we got there so plan accordingly and do some research on their hours. as they are not the same as the bookstore. The books are clearly labeled by genre. After taking a stroll, we decided to check out the second floor which was supposed to have a little market, a stage where they host events, and some very comfortable couches along with tables and chairs. I mostly came to see if a book spoke to me, but also to get some reading in from the book I brought along with me. The lighting is good, although I sometimes prefer to have a dimmer setting for a cozier feel. We spent about 1.25 hours here, but we could have easily spent a longer time if it weren't so close to closing.

There were many people sitting enjoying their time with friends or family. Other patrons were studying. The staff was incredibly friendly and answered all of my questions. I got a smoothie (yummy), sandwich (tasty), and some pastries. The pastries were very sweet. I tried the cinnamon roll. Significant fosting to roll ratio but was very sweet. I couldn't finish it because it was too sweet. Overall, I would come back and bring my friends too

Any of the flavors of their danishes are a safe bet too, as they're seriously delicious, and we crave them often. We've tried a couple of their lunch options and some other pastries and would probably pass on those next time. Their scones tend to be on the dry side. Their coffee is good, though they don't offer many specialty flavor options if that's what you're looking for. We're still mourning two of our all-time favorites that have been discontinued: the homemade donuts every Sunday and the mushroom toast. Birchwood, please bring them back!
