Such a wonderful contrast to the one we had earlier in the day before our drive back into CT for the flight home. We were tired and needed a break. The staff greeted us enthusiastically and gave us directions to the restrooms we had requested before we ordered. We decided to give this company a chance to redeem itself after the horrible experience we had at the start of the day. And they sure did. Similar order and what a difference. Perfect service, perfectly filled and packaged donuts. All with a smile. My husband had more of their coffee and I had an iced tea. It's a cute shop in a little intersection of a rural part of CT I had not seen before and was just the stop we needed before hopping onto the interstate to head to the airport. read more

AVOID AT ALL COST I have the absolute WORST experience at the this Dunkin' drive-thru every time I make the mistake of stopping here. Periods of time will pass and I'll forget about my experience because the other Dunkins in the area are great. The employees are lumpish, the management allows it. In conversation we dare not speak its name, it is simply used as a point of comparison referred to as "THAT ONE". It is a skid-mark on other local establishments in the area. had to explain the 2 coffee's i ordered, real simple 4 french vilina and 6 cream and 6 pumpkin spice & 6 cream, the 2 of them together coulden figure it out, and after 5 time explaining it and they still screwed it up, hire people that have a brain, this was pethetic and i will never go there again, total fing joke. read more

Worst service. Dunkin has a 3 minute policy. I've waited here at the order window for 10+ mins and equally at window. I just avoid it now or drive away it takes more than 5. I've never been to a Dunkin that I didn't love. This is the closest local to me. They have always been spot on with my orders and rarely are out of anything. My boyfriend and I came here at 6:20 pm on a Friday for sweet vanilla cold brew coffees and were told they were out of liquid sugar. Okay fine it happens. I asked if I could have a frozen caramel coffee. They shut down the machine already. Okayyy can I have an iced mocha latte? They shut down the espresso machine already. I have worked both as a barista for years and in retail and there is not a single place I have worked that would have allowed me to shut down machines 40 minutes before close. You wait until 5 minutes before close at the MOST if you run a store well. We settled for sweet vanilla cold brew coffees with cream and sugar (even though sugar does not dissolve in iced coffee) only to drive away and realize they never put vanilla in the coffees and they were the most disgusting cold brews we have ever had. We stopped and threw them away. My boyfriend does not like to leave reviews *EVER* but he specifically asked me to write this, our experience was that bad. Waste of money. read more

I don't understand any negative reviews. Every time I go there, and since I drive by every day on my way home, I go frequently, they are smiling, friendly, engaging with the customer and just plain pleasant to interact with. Just today I went to get a pumpkin muffin. At the drive thru, they said they had one, but when I got up to the window, they apologized that they actually didn't. However, I got a donut that was equally good, but when I got home I discovered they had given me two donuts for the price of 1. That is customer service! Thanks all at Willington DD. read more

THE BEST PART? Erica, their personable server. We started coming to this Dunkin Donuts every month on our way to Pomfret, CT. It's relatively new, and is a lot more pleasant than the D & D attached to the gas station located down the street. Every part of it is clean- the floors, the bathrooms, and the tables. It has a "fireplace" area that seems to be well-used for longer conversations. There are plugs around the eating area for charging your device. Today, we were warmly greeted by Erica. We've not met her before, but she welcomed us as though we were good friends. It was a pleasant encounter at such an early hour of a Saturday morning. I ordered a Boston cream donut - quite a splurge for me, and my husband went the healthy route with an egg and turkey sausage flatbread. Both were tasty, as expected. We've had their coffee here before, and this is the first D & D that has actually been able to explain the difference between the different flavor shots (some are sweetened, some aren't). We will back in a few weeks, and we are sure Erica and the other employees will take good care of us. read more

Not usually one to post complaints but this Dunkin' warrants a yelp. This place is absolutely awful. Incredibly slow service, always understaffed when I go there (mostly 8am or so), NO ONE has ever addressed waiting customer/s to say they'll be right with them when there are delays or a line, usually running around like their hair's on fire and yelling, on several visits they haven't had muffins ready (between 6:30am and 8am), and on more than one occasion they had "no sandwiches" which, to boot, they failed to mention that to the growing mass of waiting customers who had ordered sandwiches. I don't know what else to say but it's such a brutal disappointment and I dread going there, especially if I'm in a hurry. Have been going to this Dunkin' often for over a year since moving to the area - never had a problem. For the past few months, I have only went to this Dunkin if I am unable to go to another because the past 5 times they have gotten my coffee order wrong. I went to the Dunkin Doughnuts location in willington, ct off route 74. I come here everyday and am a regular customer. I will never come here again the staff was beyond rude and proceeded to charge me for a drink I did not order. I bought an iced tea and a hot tea and they charged me for an iced coffee instead of an iced tea. I will never go here again and will unrecommend going here to local friends and family. Would give them no stars if a could. As the drive thru was out to the street I walked in to be third in line. I viewed the car in line that I would been behind. Well twelve minutes later and I'm still not to the counter. I watched the car I would have been behind get service at the window I realized I made a mistake, I finally get service and grabbed a chocolate milk as the hot chocolate frozen I got for my son the day before was like water. Medium coffee made with milk not half and half and was lukewarm at best because it was half milk. Put me 15 minutes behind in my commute. If you're not in a hurry and want to watch a comedy show walk into this Dunkin' Donuts it worth the show. Maybe if they pay a little more they will get better employees. Not sure what happened to this dunkin. Came here last year and their was two employees working at 9pm who were so nice. The guy and girl made me 3 sandwiches and hash browns and put a machine back up just to make me a coolata! Went here about a month ago around same time, replaced with a different short girl but she is rude and terrible and lazy!Wouldnt make any food because they close in a hour! Came in to talk to the "manager" the next day which was a mistake. Told me if i have a problem with the way its run then dont come here! Guess this is last time i will come here! Is a hot pumpkin spice latte with whole milk really that hard of an order? First, I was given my coffee as an iced caramel latte. This is by far the worst Dunkin Donuts of all time. They have this beautiful new building and are the only drive-thru anything in town... but it's wasted because they literally get every single order wrong. Just today, my order was "hot medium French vanilla with extra vanilla, cream only, large hot cappachino with skim milk, and a croissant." They gave me a medium French vanilla with extra cream, a medium caramel mocha or something.., and a coffee roll. Literally every single thing is wrong.. and this happens every single time we go here. So obviously we're not going here anymore but I wanted to warn others about it too. I think they need to close for a month and actually spend time training their employees. read more

Used to be my go-to dunkin, not sure if its the staff or new management, but the passed 3 months they've been horrid. My orders have been wrong, staff has been extreamly rude, overall very discerning. Actually just got back from there, not only did they forget what i had ordered from the speaker to the window, but completely forgot our drinks and as we are at the window waiting an employee comes to the window and snaps at us!
