Stopped by Cafe Tempo the other morning for a quick breakfast on the go…read more Grabbed a simple egg & cheese on a toasted whole wheat English muffin, atleast I thought so? They ended up giving my a egg & cheese on A bagel but it was still very good! They don't use a cheap microwaved egg like some places do either. (The croissant is also a good option!) But let's be real here... that's not why I wait 7 cars deep most early mornings in a drive thru line... The cinnamon rolls are the reason. These things just hit every time man. They arnt really anything over the top like a thick cinnamon bun out of your oven or anything like that. They are your simple cinnamon roll with icing on it not frosting but they are just so delicious - easily the standout. (Sometimes they run out!) They're mostly known for their coffee, and you can tell. They have a hoping business and everyone usually leaves with a coffee amongst other options like their bagels or baked goods. Inside is pretty small with very little seating so not the best place to get any work done or hangout. Overall, they are a very busy place and most people put an online order in to beat the crowd. The drive thru service is pretty quick for being busy and also very friendly. If you're going, don't overthink it - get the cinnamon roll.

There is also spots available within the lot. The interior was small with plenty of counter side space to sit. Obviously this is a popular place. I ordered a small ice coffee and a New England sandwich which has Turkey, cranberry and cheese. My meal was savory and tasty, and the coffee was perfect to me, on the sweeter side. I had such a great experience ~ we snagged a seat, and the food was handed to us over the counter since we found counter side seating. This place seems like a local fav, and as future local, I can't wait to try the drive thru myself next time.

I'm a fan of their pastries and coffees but I haven't tried everything. I had the chocolate almond croissant today and it blew my mind! We had them heat it which I totally recommend. It was filled with crunchy almonds and warm melted chocolate. Absolutely delicious!

What a lovely bakery for baked goods and cozy vibes!…read more I enjoy sitting down in Seven Stars Bakery every now and then to work remotely. The Cranston location is very well kept, the staff are lovely and there's plenty of space to settle down. I love the open feel of this location with every corner having its own flair. The service for drinks is very quick. This Seven Stars location has such a charm to it - tons of natural lighting and the interior design feels timeless, classic and clean. There's an assortment of baked goods and ample options to choose from. My favorite items are the croissants and cheese danish both very airy and enjoyable with a cup of coffee. There's definitely something for someone. With a family of croissant connoisseurs I always leave with a box filled with these crescent shaped goods and they're just as tasty at home. If you're looking for classic bakery and coffee combos Seven Stars Bakery will have something to give you that morning boost. I enjoy the presentation of the pastries and the overall atmosphere of the cafe - clean, open and the perfect place to be productive. Seven Stars definitely deserves their name!

Yes ma'am, everything is incredible and I love you lol. Speaking of the server, she was also the one who took my order, and she was so kind and patient. When you walk into this place, you can definitely tell you can order coffee, but more than anything else, you can tell you can order a coffee cocktail. Cocktails wall to wall lol. Now listen, that doesn't mean I'm not down for an AM cocktail, just not at that moment. She told me they could make anything I wanted, and they did exactly that. I ordered a medium hot latte with oat milk, whipped cream, and caramel drizzle. My colleague got the chai iced coffee. Parking is easy to find either right out front or in the back. I will say this location gets very busy, and it can feel like a small dance battle for close parking, so get in where you fit in.

Eating it though I was met with a sad bagel, unflavored meat and an egg that was probably microwaved moments before. The coffee too was nothing impressive, my iced coffee did not taste flavored at all and the latte I tried did not taste distinct at all. It's really in front of you that all the syrups are commercial with poor quality control.

*GLUTEN-FREE ALERT*…read more I'm just now learning what a Guatemalan quesadilla is & I want one every day for the rest of my life. Thankfully, we have Cafe Ava for that. A Guatemalan quesadilla is sorta like a cornbread or a pound cake or a piece of actual heaven. It's got a thick but soft texture, it's a little bit sweet & a little bit savory, & it's topped with sesame seeds. My mouth is watering just writing about it. Cafe Ava makes their Guatemalan quesadillas with rice flour, so they are gluten-free. GLUTEN FREE PERFECT LITTLE PIECES OF HEAVEN. Anyways, I know where I'm going tomorrow for breakfast.

I went with one of their most popular signature drinks, the tres leches iced latte. It was very sweet and tasty, but the sweetness was a bit overwhelming. My husband got the flan iced latte, and it was the same experience for him. The quality of the coffee itself seemed fairly good but just a bit sweet per personal preference. I didn't get the chance to try their food. That being said, if you have a sweet tooth, this is a perfect spot to try. I'm planning to come back to try their food and a regular latte to really get a taste of what they offer. Location: This location is on the main street and is pretty artsy. It's a perfect spot for a coffee run or to meet up with friends. They have a really cool painting and overall aesthetic, and even a swing, which adds to the interior design and makes it cozy and unique. There is also parking in the back of the building. If that is full, street parking is available and easy to access. Service: The service was quick and efficient. We spoke to the barista who was making our coffees, and they took our order and prepared our drinks in a timely manner. I will be coming back because I feel like I need to try the food and more latte options!

Its in a nice little spot, there was plenty of parking and the space is clearly new which you notice in a nice clean newly paved parking lot. I like when I walked in- there is a small entry - you're not thrown into a big space. I wasn't expecting table service at a brewery - even with a full menu - that was a nice surprise. Our server did have a slight lag where we were thinking wheeerrrrrre did he go? But the rest of the night he was on top of things. I ordered poutine and a couple of beers. The poutine was good - I like shoestring fries. But I have one beloved former RI restaurants poutine taking up too big a space in my heart still, and this didn't quite hit that. But it was a good snack. Great serving size. We sat in a small alcove with like 4 - 4 top tables. I dig the decorations. Christmas lights are festive and fun. The bar looked decently busy for a wednesday evening - but the acoustics inside work well and it didn't feel noisy or distracting. I got the Cohesive (American IPA) and def enjoyed it. If I went back, I'd probably ask to sit somewhere else or just grab a seat at the bar. The beer was decent, with about 8-10 varieties on tap. You can tell this is a local favorite. What a great place to meet up and connect with friends! Definitely worth checking out.
