Every time I get my ice coffee at Dunks on Linden St they can never get it right. I ask for half decaf and half regular. I watch them make it and they Always give me all decaf. I tell them I watched you make it and she looks at me and lies and says I put regular in it too. This happens every time. There is never a problem at the other Dunks. Bottom line. I love Dunkin Donuts and that's a New England kind of thing about me. I'll go to ones outside the US (visited them in Vietnam and Korea, which was quite an experience as they really take it to the next level there, and a different story). Funny that because I work in the Waltham area, this is the only DD i go to here because it is the BEST one. I use On-the-Go ordering from here and they are the best at it. It usually takes them like 2 mins as I place the order as a I pull up into the lot and its already made (cooked stuff takes maybe 5 mins). Even when busy this place is rocking and churning (the people that work there seem to enjoy it and are very quick). Good stuff. read more

The front staff seem nice. Though they got my order wrong. I ordered a plain bagel, egg and cheese toasted. The cook was calling out a bacon, egg and cheese after a a minute, turns out that was my order. I explained to the lady I ordered a plain bagel and and cheese only. She seem to understand and I figured she would make me a fresh one. Noooo. I watched her remove the bacon from the sandwich, wrap it up and hand back to me. WTF. I DO NOT EAT MEAT. Just plain dumb on her behalf. Will certainly never be going back there. I was so disgusted that I threw the sandwich in the trash and walked out. This is by far the best Dunkin Donuts in Waltham. I literally drive by the two on Lexington St (two of the worst ones I have ever been to-I will save the details about those for a separate review) on my way to this one. The coffee always tastes fresh, they fill the cups to the top (unlike Lexington St) and there is rarely a line. Today there was about 5 people ahead of me. It took me maybe an extra minute they move the line that fast. The employees are always friendly, and I think a lot of the credit for that goes to the woman managing the shop (I am not sure of her name but she is there every day I go ) . She is always helping serve the customers , and always has a nice smile for them. Dunkin Donuts is lucky to have her ! read more

I live in the apartment complex across the street so I frequent this DD pretty often. It wasn't until I went to other locations that I realized how efficient and fast this location is. I'm not going to bore with details of what they carry or prices...we all know that. I'll keep this review pretty brief and simple. This location is right across from the District Court House. This makes for fun people watching. Often lawyers and their clients will grab a coffee here and discuss strategy. Sometimes you see a local political candidate interviewing interns. Of course, there is always the group of cranky old men clamoring about who only knows what? My son loves this DD. At the other locations, we're usually in and out. At this location, we take our time. My son will sit down at his favorite table and peek over the counter to say hello. When we're done with our donut or bagel, he'll point at all the pictures on the mural, dance to a little music, and head on out with a smile on his face. The employees are pleasant. They always seem to know everyone's order as people are walking in. No one stands still. If they're not fulfilling an order, they're either emptying the garbage cans, stocking up straws and napkins, or cleaning the floors. They work hard at this location and you can really see the difference between this one and some of the other ones. read more

I never like coffee shops tucked into shopping plazas, maybe because they tend to be smaller. This one is no exception. But the people here are so nice. My review is entirely for them. Even when customers come in and give them a hard time -- like I've seen happen on two different occasions -- the cashiers never seem annoyed or mad. They just respond as nicely as possible. How someone can really give a Dunkin Donuts employee a hard time is beyond me -- they're there for all of two minutes -- but it happens. read more

This is seriously probably one of the fastest Dunkin's I've ever been in. I've been in and out of here throughout the years but never realized how quickly these guys moved until I just last week. It was my first week back to work and I checked in at 8:22 am via Yelp app. Before I knew it, I was at my desk by 8:29 am. It took them seconds, SECONDS, to have my coffee ready. They were so efficient, that all their coffee orders were already taken care of and everyone that was in the lobby waiting, were waiting for the food order. So, I don't know exactly how much time it took them to get my bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel, but between the time I checked in and the time I was at work was 7 minutes! Thumbs up for morning efficiency! Though... I know in the past I've had burnt coffee at nights. If they could improve on the after peak hours flavor, they'd be a 5 star DDs. read more

Out of any Dunks I've ever visited - these are the most enthusiastic and friendly Dunks-Peers I've encountered (ever). *Always well-stocked and super clean *All smiles behind the counter (the team works REALLY well together - a well-oiled machine). Nice and CRAZY efficient, at least in the morning hours. This Dunkin' is the closest location to me and it's the only one that is on my way to work so I come here often. They do work really fast and I am never waiting long for an order. Unfortunately, they do quite often get my order wrong or overcharge. However, I can understand why this happens because this location is VERY busy - I can only imagine how overwhelming it is for the employees during peak hours. However, the thing that bothers me is the employees' rude attitudes. It feels as though they look at the customers as if we are the enemy. No matter how nicely and politely I try to inform them that my order is wrong or that I was overcharged, they argue with me in a very hostile tone - or they stare at me and start talking to their coworkers in their native language very obviously talking about me. And it's not just one employee, it's almost all of them. They seem to be very kind and friendly to the "regulars" with simple orders but actively hate and strive to be rude to all other customers. Any question or concern is a personal affront and they have to be mean to the person asking the question. I've also been in line and watched them be so rude and yell at other customers for really small, petty reasons. I really wish they would train their employees on customer service or just hire better people. It's a really shit way to start out every single morning. I love how people don't think Dunkin Donuts deserves a review unless it's 'really good.' Anyways, let me put another perspective onto this DD's. The location is just off Rt. 20, Next to a CVS & Petco. But most important about this location is it's right across the street from the District Court House, in Waltham. In other words, great location for the owner. Think of all the cops that must stop in while waiting to be called to the stand. Or nervous defendants needing a caffeine fix. Plus this place makes those flat bread sandwiches the best around. Never any cold chucks of meat left in them, always ohhy gooey goodness. Plus coffee's fast and efficient at all hours of the day. Can't complain about anything except that their is no drive thru to this one, gotta get out of the car to get my coffee here. I have been going the the DD on Linden St for years. For a long time that location was pitifull. We would go to River St DD or Lexington St DD instead. Then, something wonderful happened. An awakening! What was this? Word got out and people began to flock there. They were awesome! They had hired a woman manager who knew how to manage and train. Each employee was eager to wait on people and they all knew "what was going on." I would wait in line and the line would be out the door. No matter, the line moved so quickly and to watch how the staff was coordinated was actually fun. The staff used to be calling out to the 3rd person in line for their order. Out of there in no time! With the correct order. The manager was like Larry Bird. Always watching and filling in where needed and coaching staff on how things should be done. I even told her that she was the best manager I've ever seen in retail. Then the darkness came. She left. (Hopefully to be v.p. of ops for DD.) I haven't gotten an order right since. They don't know what an egg white flat bread with turkey is. We got regular eggs with a turkey sausage patty on english muffin which was what was put on the register receipt, so at least the person making it did it right. What a difference a manager makes. Anyone who I have talked to feels the same way. Come on DD! We know you can do it. Get Linden St back on track! read more

Really rude employee. I asked this girl if I could use this coupon and starting getting angry at me. I had never used dd perks before and was confused because there was no barcode. She pulled up the price and it was $3 but the coupon is for $1.29 coffee so I ask why. Rude, she says "just scan your gift card" I did. Later she asks another employee to accuse me of taking banana without paying. It was a really bruised banana that I had dropped a couple of times and looked nothing like the bananas they would sell. Just angered me how rude she was. The employees no longer working there were much better. read more

This place is really good. The service is good, and there is alot of seating both inside and outside. There is enough parking for everyone, and a bike rack that is conveniently placed adjacent to the store. Also, roller blades are allowed inside. There is one public restroom, and it's really clean. Another pro is that it stands on the bay of a bike trail, so anyone looking for a good place to stop by while on the run just found the jackpot! The staff are also really friendly. They are fast and efficient, and mostly I count on them. 99.99% of the time, they get the orders right. I really recommend this place. read more
