This place can truly be hit or miss, depending on which staff members are working. Tonight we stopped by because I was craving a scoop of Oreo Cold Brew. When I looked at the container, I noticed what appeared to be ice crystals--almost like the ice cream had a bit of freezer burn. I mentioned it to the young lady behind the counter, and she explained that it wasn't freezer burn but likely ice from the sides of the freezer. She then added that the flavor isn't very popular, so it tends to sit for a while. Hearing that didn't exactly boost my confidence, so I politely asked if I could have a fresh scoop from the container underneath. She seemed a little hesitant at first but did go ahead and grab one. My daughter ordered a cup of hot chocolate while we were there. Price-wise, it wasn't bad at all--about $8 for both items, which felt pretty reasonable. Unfortunately, the service itself was a bit "meh." The hot chocolate was handed to us with quite a mess around the lid--chocolate on the top and sides--so I had to ask for a clean lid before we left. Another thing I noticed was the checkout process seemed a bit disorganized. Almost every time a customer received their ice cream, the staff would ask, "Wait... did you pay?" It created a slightly awkward moment each time and made the flow feel a bit chaotic. The store itself was decent overall, though the lobby area could have been a little cleaner. Since it was a Friday night, I'm hoping it had just been busy earlier and no one had gotten around to tidying up yet. In the end, our cravings were satisfied, which is always a plus. The little girl who had no name tag was behind the counter and she was so irritated that she tried to snatch a $20 bill for me and he landed in the floor on her side, she got even more irritated. She gave me my change and laid it on her side of the counter, making me reach for my change. When I said something to her, she got just crappy attitude with me and it was all over the fact that she wanted to charge me $.50 to add six pieces of ice to our coffee to cool it off. The absolute worst service ever!!! I would give negative zero rating if I could. For the villa rica location. They are serving ice cold dark brown doughnuts from the day before. The assistant manager is telling me she did the order and she got them off the truck. I'm very frequent customer,I received fresher doughnuts in the evening than I did this morning! Would give a negative if i could. They are ALWAYS SO RUDE AND UNPLEASANT. They never say please, thank you, no greeting. and want to argue if you question something. It's hard to hear them on the drive thru speaker-they don't speak up, mumble. If you complain to the manager she tells them they are doing a great job, regardless if they are rude, obnoxious and have no manners. You see employees standing around doing nothing and then line is wrapped around the building in the drive thru. How about earning that $15/hour you are making instead of loafing around? Literally can't recommend a place less. The only reason I even went was because I wanted breakfast food and it was outside of breakfast hours at other restaurants. I never even leave reviews for places but this visit was just unnecessarily bad. I placed a mobile order today and when we got there at like 2:45 the cashier at the window told us they were out of banana bread. No biggie, but she offered me 2 donuts as a replacement. I politely asked her if I could replace the banana bread with anything different because I have extremely sensitive teeth so I can't even get through half a donut without my teeth aching. She got an attitude and acted like it was a huge inconvenience just to check. She came back and told me she could replace it with a coffee muffin, and even though I really didn't want that I just went ahead and accepted because she was acting so aggravated by it. I still had bagel minis anyways so at least I could eat those even if i didn't like the muffin. Surprise: the muffin sucked. I tried my drink next, also terrible. You'd think for $5+ per drink you'd get something once in a while that doesn't taste like dirt. A latte is mostly milk, I don't understand how it's that hard to make it taste mildly decent. Whatever, moved on to the bagel minis. They were cold to the touch so I already knew they'd be terrible when I grabbed them. They weren't even remotely toasted on the outside, and the cream cheese in the center was barely thawed, they weren't even close to being hot like they're supposed to be. Yet another waste of money and at this point every single thing I ordered for myself ended up being awful and a waste of money. My boyfriend's food and tea were alright. Just alright, not worth the $5 for a croissant just for it to be mid. Literally wasted $20 of my money just to not even get anything to eat because it was all terrible and/or not even cooked. The employee was very sweet. I got my food very fast for only a couple dollars. The inside of the dd was very clean and well kept.

I've been going here off and on sinceit opened and the service and quality of food has steadily declined over the years. I've been there three times thru the drive thru over the past two weeks and the coffee and breakfast sandwiches aren't edible. the coffe tastes like it's mixed with pinto beans. The staff makes no efforts to fix the sandwich the way i ask. I usually go thru the drive thru, but this mornin, went inside to place my order. I asked that the bread be toasted The employee even going as far this morning as to toast only one side of the top of the sandwich and showed me the sandwich before she wrapped it so that I would think it was done right. Ordered a CHKN AMR BCN CROS and received a SAUS EGG CHZ CROS - When I called the store the "shift leader" stated the manager (Jill) was too busy to handle this issue. I asked for a refund since there was a price difference and that was something they couldn't fulfill. I either had to turn around and come get the correct item or be put on the store books for next visit. Quite frankly, I won't be back so I don't need a store credit, and I shouldn't be inconvenienced from my trip to turn around to get this corrected. I live in Atlanta and my time is just as important as the staff at the store. Treat people, who are paying money for this product, with a little more respect for their time and money. It's ridiculous the MOD was too busy for this refund when the end of day sales hadn't been processed yet. I've ordered a few times from here and it's very hit or miss. Today I ordered an iced matcha latte and it was 95% milk with maybe a teaspoon of matcha. I am a die hard DD fan however, this location has horrible customer service. They never know about specials that have been announced online and refuse to honor them. Every employee I have encountered looks so sad and miserable, they are less than friendly. I have even contacted the CEO and he didn't believe me and stated he would have to verify by checking his cameras, I never received a call back.
