Drive through was backed up in to the road. Instead of adding to the traffic issue I decided to go inside. Staff could care less about customers standing at the register. Staff is more focused on the drive through. I stood at the register for almost 10 minutes before being acknowledged with multiple employees walking past me and ignoring me. When I was acknowledged I was told it's going to be a little bit before they can take my order. All in all I stood waiting for about 15-20 minutes with my order never being taken. Total Disappointment Decided to spring for Donut's for the office two days ago since I had already stopped for other things in the area. Right off I-77 so should have been simple. A coworker had already warned me to watch out for the drive through so when I pulled in and there were multiple cars in the drive through, I parked and walked in. Only one other customer inside. Went to the first window and it said closed, go to the next register. I did and stood there and then some one with an attitude asked if I was trying to place an order. Duh ... Why else was I standing there.?? Said I wanted a dozen Crème Filled Donuts to go and needless to say, nothing on display. Never did get a chance to order a breakfast sandwich to go. The employee said he would check in the back and see if they had any yet. Not sure if they did or not because next time I say the employee, he was over at the drive though. This location is the absolute worst. Customer service rating is a negative number if that was possible. Any time there's a problem which is 9 out of 10, the MANAGER never satisfies the customer. He has an attitude worse than a girl and is NOT fit to be managing a Dunkin. Drinks are made pretty good, donuts idk because they never have any . I went to this Dunkin' today with a total payment of $7.22. When I pulled up the the window, I handed the young man $2.00 in change saying that I would pay the remainder of the balance with a gift card. He proceeded to count to two dollars, take my gift card and swiped it, without first entering in the two dollars in change that I gave him. I'm not concerned with the fact that he put the total balance on the gift card, but what I am concerned with,is that the young man simply did not understand basic mathematics. After he swiped my card he said "there was actually enough on the card to pay the total." I already knew this, but I was choosing to pay 2.00 worth of the total with change to get rid of loose change that I had sitting in my car. He then said "well I don't know what to do with the change." At this point, I was extremely concerned that a person like this was in charge of the cash drawer at a business that is solely drive through and I told him to just give me the change back, seeing as the total was payed for. I understand that there are good days and bad days at work but myself and my passenger were just shocked that he did not understand this basic transaction while also giving us attitude. Frequently rude I've found the third time I have come and they have gotten my order wrong or have not gotten it at all when I order by mobile. They will be short to my face and when they fix the issue that is their error and I tell them thank you, they don't speak at all and turn their back on me instead. Absolutely the worst Dunkin' Donuts I've ever been to solely due to the staff. I purchased a blueberry muffin this morning, however, I didn't attempt to eat it until I got to Hickory. BIG mistake! It smelled and tasted like garlic. On my way home I stopped to exchange it, the1st person said they didn't need it back due to Covid protocols. That's when the teenage " shift lead" Aubrey stepped in, questioned the receipt, took the muffin, smelled it and decided it didn't smell like garlic so she wasn't going to exchange it. When they first opened this DD, the service and quality were top notch however since they hired new managers, the service is awful. They messed up every single order that came through the door while we were in there... Including ours twice. Coffee and bagels aren't difficult, yet they couldn't get it right so we just gave up.
