A donut the employee threw into the bag
E J.

I wish I could write less then a one star review. They messed up 100% of my order. And they LIMITED my options to only donuts and drinks. No food. Managers in store won't help out as there are only two employees inside who do not communicate well. It was only 10 dollars but it is 10 dollars this business does not deserve. What they messed up: 2 chocolate donuts which they put one in and they turned it upside down so when I picked it up half the frosting was ripped off. My refresher which I emphasized lemonade which they made a regular passion fruit refresher They charged us for extra toppings on the drinks but they didn't come with them. This business does not deserve anyones money.

My teenaged daughters and I loved this place. Black Dog Heights Café is a great little spot in…read moreFalmouth for breakfast. The café has a laid-back vibe with cute outdoor seating that's perfect on a nice day. It does get busy, and the parking lot is small, so plan accordingly. The menu has something for everyone, including specialty coffees, fresh egg sandwiches, muffins, flavored lemonades, smoothies, and a few healthy specialty bowls. You can also order ahead, which is a huge plus when there's a crowd. The staff is mostly teens and college students, and they were friendly and kept things moving despite the rush. Our food was prepared fresh, came out hot, and was absolutely delicious. Overall, it's a lively neighborhood café with quality food and a welcoming atmosphere. The only downside is the limited parking and the popularity, but it's easy to see why so many people keep coming back.

They have a nice assortment of fresh muffins and croissants as well as some hot breakfast items. Everything seemed reasonably priced and the order came out quickly. Deducted 1 star because the majority of the seating is outdoors and should be wiped down. The first day the chairs were all wet and the second day the outdoor counter was covered in a sticky layer of sand and pollen. Despite this issue we enjoyed the food and the overall experience.

Asti was still known as Estia when we were here a few years ago. Some overlap with another business…read morerequired them to change their name at some point since then, but we enjoyed the same great food and service this time too. It is on W. Main St in Falmouth on the first stretch off of Locust St, which is the Falmouth town name for the road to Woods Hole. There is street parking and a little lot alongside and behind it, though have never found space there. The Greek food is the best I have had since my years growing up in CT. We always have a good time and this summer we were able to get patio seats out front. It's cavernous inside and good for bad weather and large parties. We have eaten inside on other trips when it was colder or rainy. It's fine and comfortable seating and a bit roomier between tables. There are booths inside too. We ate dinner here the night we arrived and again the night before we left. It has become our tradition now. Both nights, we had excellent service and excellent food. We did have the exact same dessert both nights since we had liked it so well the first night and we didn't see anything more balanced for both of our tastes. And their desserts are large enough to share. We had a variety of appetizer items for a smaller meal the first night, tired from having driven from Hartford, via Narragansett, for a stop to see friends. It is the long way to the Cape from Hartford, but seeing our friends was worth it as they have never travelled to CO. The second night we chose larger individual plates based on the items we tried the first night and had another great meal. One of the plates was their enormous version of spanakopita and the other was a large plate of the lamb "lollipops," glorified yummy grilled lamb skewers. We had drinks too. All in all it was truly the quality of food we have come to expect from them. It is family owned and a very polished operation with a vibrant bar inside. All ages were represented in the customer base and I understand that the locals love it too, but they mostly attend off season. It and all of Falmouth was mobbed the week we were there, just before the annual Falmouth Road Race.

I was disappointed to see two large flowerpots blocking the hand rails. The decor is very nice. There are good chairs and good spacing. Two outside terraces are attractive and safe from the street. My husband loved his swordfish special. I enjoyed my fig ravioli. It could have used more prosciutto. The pizza was deemed so so. And the shrimp skewers good enough. I thought the prices were high.. service was very slow, but not the waiters fault. He was nice. Any wow factor is missing.

"Buffalo Soldier"- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMUQMSXLlHM…read more Buffalo Jump is very much farm-to-table, dining at Coonmaessett Farm. There are farm-to-table restaurants in urban areas like the Bay Area and PDX, but the Buffalo Jump has views of alpacas, chicken coops, blueberry and strawberry fields. Even before COVID, Buffalo Jump was offering takeout dinners. Now they offer takeout lunches as well. They have ample outdoor patio dining and sanitizer. Now, Buffalo Jump has pivoted mainly to its underrated strengths- breakfast and lunch. They offer adventurous meals like Caribbean bean stew with plantains, tomatoes and rice, as well as bison mole (as in the spicy Mexican chocolate sauce, not the mammal) omelette. The Buffalo Jump's owners are adventurous- https://www.foodandwine.com/travel/restaurant-road-trip-baltzley-goes-west They have their signature stuffed quahog Benedict with Bloody Mary hollandaise and a perfectly poached egg. The hollandaise is kicky. There is Beanstock coffee out of Eastham, perfect for waking up. Their Quebec is French toast topped with wild blueberries and sausage. It is swathed in New England maple syrup. Their Vadouvan curry with tofu and grilled pineapple is a perfect blend of sweet and spicy. A delicious adventure!
