The inside of the shop is cozy and warm, and there's ample seating both indoors and on the outdoor patio. They roast all their beans in house (peep the giant machine inside to prove it!), and the pastries are baked fresh daily- nothing random lying around in cases for days on end like some other spots I've visited. My coffee was flavorful and strong, and the accompanying blueberry muffins had a tasty streusel topping. It made for a nice light evening snack, and also a welcome respite from needing to go hang out at a bar after dinner just because nothing else is open. Service was prompt and friendly, there was a short line, but the team kept everything moving. However, what truly made the night memorable, was when the owner of the shop came out during closing time and offered all the costumers a free loaf of bread!
