I was reminded this morning why I always go to Starbucks in the mornings rather than Dunkin even though I prefer Dunkin's prices and flavor options. I ordered online and chose the walk in option so I could just grab my drink and get on the road for my 30 minute commute to work. I get here and the door is locked. So now I have to get in the 10 car drive thru line to get my drink. I understand we are in a pandemic but SBux has been handling walk-in orders just fine. Further, I came to this Dunkin yesterday and did walk-in with no problem. Seems like this morning the staff is just lazy and does not want to do walk-in. I will likely be back since this is the only Dunkin in a 45 minute radius. But, the service is very disappointing, so just be prepared for that. read more

I hate going to this D&D. Customer service is horrible, they don't wear gloves (called them out twice) and they put zero heart into making any food there. I go about once a week to get a bagel and coffee... They slab on a chunk of cream cheese on ONE SIDE of the bagel and don't even spread it. This happens every single time!!! Displaced Yankee checking in....this place is crazy slow- I was there 10 minutes waiting with one guy ahead of me. I needed my DD fix, which is why i went. If I lived nearby, I doubt I'd go regularly- nobody wants to wait that long for coffee. Staff is friendly and helpful, if only marginally incompetent. Best thing I can say about this place is that it's on the way to work. I'm from New England which means I hate Starbucks and grew up on DD but I only stop here maybe once every couple months because the service is so slow. It's so bad that, if there's one guy in front of me and he orders a sandwich or a dozen donuts, I'll just turn around and walk out so as not to be late for work. Sadly, I am not joking. You have a 40% chance of getting your order right if you get food. that means for every 100 people, 40 will get their order correct. I've given them many chances over the year and they tend to screw things up over and over again. Apparently literacy is an option with this location. If you ask for something without cheese, get a 9 count hashbrown, etc etc. expect to get cheese with it, a 6 count instead of a 9 count, and the list goes on and on. Drink orders have a higher chance of success but not by much. Takes a longer duration of time to get an order and/or being acknowledge at the counter. They are constantly out of things and it still hasn't been address yet with all these problems. In short, this place would be great and have more customers if they have structure and organization. Worst place to go for your lattes. I love DD Latte!! But in Sumter location I think they even don't know what's Latte. They need better training and better management. I ordered medium Mocha Hot latte and was half way full no wiped cream. I orders wheat bagel and bagel was completely uncooked. And the service is very slow and very rud. read more

So I arrived this morning at 7:15 am and placed an order for 6 dozen donuts - 2 dozen glazed and 4 dozen mixed. I was told I could only purchase one (1) dozen glazed since they wanted to save the rest for other customers. I was also told I could wait 45 minutes for more glazed. Are you kidding me???? The manager (who was extremely rude) came to the counter and confirmed the story - despite they had a sufficient number of glazed donuts to complete my order. How can a donut shop run low on glazed donuts at 7:15 in the morning?? Unfortunately, this is the not the first time I have had extremely poor customer service at this location. Certainly not up to the usual DD standards at other locations. I would strongly suggest finding another place to buy coffee, breakfast sandwiches and donuts. My only guess is that the owner does not care or is not in tune with the operation considering they have NO structure, organization, customer service and leadership. Why do you have to be soooo rude in a customer facing service business? My recommendation is Stay away. read more

I don't know what was up with the crew this morning, but they gave me an old rotten chicken breakfast sandwich and made my coffee tongue numbingly sweet and when I asked them to fix it, they just added hot coffee and no more ice? If I could give this place zero stars, I would. First off, I didn't have a complicated order. I ordered straight off the menu: 1 chocolate frosted chocolate cake doughnut, 1 macchiato. After I ordered, the chick behind the counter was getting my doughnut when she asked me THREE times what kind of doughnut I ordered. I repeated my order to her THREE times and wouldn't you know, somehow she still gave me the wrong freaking doughnut, just a plain chocolate frosted. -_- That should have told me something but I thought whatever, I don't need the calories, I'll eat the regular doughnut. She makes my drink, gives it to me, I try it, it tastes like plain milk. I literally cannot taste any coffee. I ask her to exchange it and just give me a plain hazelnut iced coffee, with cream and sugar. She makes the coffee, hands it to me, I taste it, sugar and milk! Now about this time, I'm wondering if this place even has coffee. Two drinks, not one iota of coffee flavoring in either. Not to mention, I paid $3.50 for the macchiato and I'm getting a crappy plain coffee worth $2.50, so I ask for the price difference. The chick that's helping apparently doesn't know how to do it or needs permission or something so she gets a manager. The manager then loudly states (as she's walking towards the front) "she can't order one drink and then not like it and want her money back" Uh, excuse me? Yes, I can. I then stated that the coffee was awful, not only did I want my dollar, I wanted her to fix the coffee, by just adding some plain black coffee to the already made drink. She snatches the coffee that's already made, tosses it in the trash, then proceeds to make another one, exactly the same as the one that I didn't want. By then, I am so annoyed and so late, I take the milk and sugar drink and go to Starbucks where I should've gone in the beginning. My wife and I stopped by after Church on a Sunday at 11am. Although there was only one other couple in the store and no one was at the drive-thru, our presence was never acknowledged. Someone finally stood at the cash register, never making eye contact, before turning and walking away. We finally left and called corporate just to let them know about the experience, thinking that the franchise owner might want feedback in order to provide better training and hold employees on that shift accountable. I guess I'm not sure if this is dunkin donuts or a high school elective for the special education kids during 5 period. Me and a friend have been to this location 8 different times and they have yet complete one order with at least 50% accuracy... It's became a joke to see how bad they can mess things up on one occasion we ordered one I iced Carmel latte and one hot Carmel latte both medium with a strawberry glazed donut. When we got to the window we received a large iced liquid that mimicked the flavor of anal leakage, battery acid, and sloth seamen. The hot latte was a small and the Carmel and coffee were more separated than a black Panthers convention that got booked in the same room as a klu Klux clan meeting and the single donut I was supposed to receive was turned two that had the frosting of a two girls one cup video. On another occasion we ordered two bacon chicken ranch wraps that tasted like the tortilla was actually king tuts scrotum that was aged and dried in a holocaust infirmary, the chicken was soggier than a dolphins vagina at the bottom of thePacific ocean, the bacon was more flaccid than lance bass's penis watching Jessica alba and Kate Upton gettin it on and it was about as slimy as John Travolta's hair on grease.you shouldn't go to this place unless your feeling bad about yourself and you want to realize that there are people out there who can't even make a coffee... read more
