Sad

Went today to go get a free coffee with purchase for national coffee day and unfortunately had one of the rudest encounters with an employee. Being very aggressive when I ordered and gave me attitude when I was just trying to order. Then when my drinks were done she put them by the window and threw the straws on the counter. Maybe she's miserable because she looks like it. Very disappointing and uncalled for.

We were on vacation, and this was the only place that was open for an early breakfast. They had Valentine's Day decorations and the staff, especially the young man at the front, was very pleasant. Will come again if in the area.

Two Boston Cremes, Strawberry sprinkled, Toasted Coconut, Chocolate Long John and Cookie Dough Crumble

Donuts - 4 stars Food - 2 stars Service - 3 stars The donuts are consistently good. Since Dunkin is rebranded by dropping the "Donuts" they might wanna step up and improve their drink and food. The hash brown bites are no longer spicy like I prefer. They were warm but could've been crunchier. Will no longer bother with the food. The All Day Breakfast Wrap (for meat I chose turkey sausage) had enough sausage but is subpar fast food. Only the warm melted yes processed cheese was enjoyable. At least the prices were decent for breakfast choices. At $1.69 a donut, still a great value and taste. They are fresh and light. Some flavors like the yummy Cookie Dough Crumble are $.30. It helps to label all extra priced ones like the Long Johns. -Boston Creme - they make the best one. Good amount of custard and the Chocolate frosting is perfectly sweet. -No Cruellers made today early on a Saturday what the heck? That's one of my faves. Their Munchkins are a guilt-free small bite! If it's busy they recommend ordering at one of two kiosks for quicker service. Service is ok. Please offer a receipt. Plenty of indoor and out seating. Appreciate their own parking lot, too and Curbside Pick Up.

So burnt, barely any bacon, don't even feel safe eating it

NEVER GO HERE!!!! I hate doing this, but we've had enough with this place. Soooo much money wasted on food that's burnt and poorly made, drinks that aren't even what we ordered. And the staff are HORRIBLE and MISERABLE people. We don't even feel safe eating this!! This was THE LAST STRAW. And the manager was as even working. This was $25 worth of waste of time. Why even have the store open if the employees are so miserable

Fake Apple Fritter

Lamest apple fritter ever. One star . What the heck is this ⁉ Straight garbage very disappointed . Will not return. Go to Randys or Sidecar. Trash flavor threw it out waste of time and money

Not my favorite brand of donuts but ok if you have sugar cravings. Their coffee is ok as well.

A greasy mess of a beautiful looking donut. Used to be my favorite

Every single time I come here they make my drink wrong and I'm waiting at least 20mins for my drink. They don't read the tickets I swear.

ORDER 01. brown butter latte ("BBL"): house-made caramelized butter syrup (containing REAL butter), espresso, & milk 02. gold coast: eggs, beef & potato hash, avocado, pepper jack cheese, scallions, & cilantro crema in a whole wheat wrap i was worried the burrito might be too dry on account of the whole wheat or too greasy because of the hash, but it was neither dry nor greasy! all the ingredients came together beautifully. the burrito felt healthy and satiating, enough to feed two adults! note that this item is only available at the santa monica branch! the "gold coast" is the cafe's take on the california burrito, whereas "the six" is the cafe's take on the standard american breakfast. pick the former if you want something more savory. pick the latter if you want something more sweet. in any case, the hot sauce served on the side is a must! SPACE the open floor plan allows for plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, so the atmosphere feels relaxed. there is one unisex restroom available. WI-FI stable!

The flavors sound exciting, but the cosmic cream top lacked both a prominent coffee and ube flavor despite the color, the matcha was quite milky, and the new moon latte did not taste of sesame. It was visibly busy when I visited, but the drinks came out reasonably quick. The cafe itself is quite hidden from the street, tucked away behind what looks like a business complex. The environment is cute, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and there is only street parking.

The bright green colors of the store front are fun and the back patio is spacious. Everyone here, including the customers are pretty sociable. I had a couple shots at the front of the bar with the staff and took a mango lassi mixed drink to the covered patio in the back. The flavor combination of this was very refreshing. It was a lil' thicker than your typical mango lassi, but the faint sweetness did a great job at masking the earthiness of the kava. It was bomb and I would have loved to order 2 but I hadn't eaten so that was not the move lol The space has their own parking lot, as well as easy street parking. The patio is nice and ambient with music playing and many boardgames available for your entertainment. The bathroom was clean and had some funny Barbie dolls on display in there. The effect of kava is mellow and puts you in a positive head space. It also does truly enhance your desire to have discussions and connect with each other. If you appreciate any of that, you will like it here for sure. Overall, the kava served at Kavahana is well mixed and the environment is curated in such a cute way, it just makes you want to come back and chill out with the homies. I highly recommend!

The inside was very clean, cute, and spacious. There is also an outside patio. No shortage of sitting options. We ended up ordering the super bowls- VIP Poke and Kebobs Mediterraneo. Both with white rice and greens. I honestly loved both of them equally. The quality of fish in the poke was outstanding and the chicken kebob was so tender and juicy. We also got the Pineapple Zingy Fizzy drink which was very refreshing on the warm day. The staff was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The only thing I want to add is that on the menu board had a key for items, one being a * indicates the item contain nuts. Some of the bowls listed cashew chipotle sauce, but there was no * next to the item name. It's a quick fix to avoid any accidents :)

My wife was craving Thai food, so she ordered the Thai dish, while I was stuck between the Peruvian Saltado and the Showtime Burger. I ended up going with the burger, and I'm glad I did. It was absolutely amazing -- flavorful, high quality, and perfectly put together. From the first bite, you could taste all the layers of flavor in what honestly felt like a masterpiece of a burger. Both dishes were very good, but the burger was definitely the winner for us. We also tried the Garage beer, which was super light and delightful, along with a latte. The latte was okay. We're big coffee people, so it didn't quite meet our expectations. It was served too hot, and the milk seemed overheated. The coffee itself tasted good, but it didn't feel carefully crafted. I enjoy latte art and that first sip from a freshly made uncapped latte, and that part was missing for me. That said, the food was so good that we're more than willing to overlook the coffee. Great vibes, superb service, and an overall fantastic experience. Highly, highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be back with friends and family.

We were delighted with the box of cookies and tarts that they brought from Paderia in Santa Monica. The chocolate chip walnut cookies were fat and soft with a slightly crisp exterior. The thickness of them allowed a plethora of rich chips to reside inside. I'm not a fan of chunks of nuts in cookies but these were chopped in tiny pieces, so did not take away from the overall soft texture. The soft peanut butter chocolate cookie was also a huge fattie with peanut butter chips within the chocolate cookie. Both were enhanced with a quick warm-up. I loved both of these cookies and think the chocolate chip is the very best you'll ever find. We also had Portuguese egg tarts. The pastel de nata (if I recall, this is what they are called) I ate was small but good, but I have had others that were more to my liking, with a sweeter custard and a more caramelized top, which I guess is a personal preference. Not to say it wasn't delicious - it was! I love the cookies so much I'll be checking out their Irvine location soon, which is much closer to me.

Unfortunately, that's no longer enough to keep me coming back. Every single male employee I've encountered here is unfriendly, arrogant, and borderline rude. It feels like they know the place is popular, so they've decided they don't need to treat customers with basic courtesy or warmth. The "too cool for you" vibe is strong and consistent. Today was the last time I'll ever spend my money here. Life is too short to pay premium prices just to be treated with disdain. The quality of the drinks and food is solid, but it's simply not worth enduring the nasty attitude. There are plenty of other fantastic coffee shops in the area that offer both great products and pleasant service -- places like Grand Luxe and Lala Land come to mind. I won't be back.
