You can tell the baristas are locals who care about and build relationships with their patrons. During my very brief wait, I observed them greeting everyone like an old friend. One staff member greeted a customer by name and correctly prepped his drink before the he ordered. It gives all the "close community" vibes. I tried the basic Chai Tea Latte and a bagel with cream cheese. Both were delicious. The bagel was especially surprising. It was the perfect blend of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. And the blueberry flavor! I wish I lived closer. This would absolutely be my spot!

Food- skimpy and mediocre depending on if they're in a good mood or a bad mood. So anyway, yesterday was just awful and I'll never be back. The host/server didn't greet us or say hello--instead, she looked confused that we were even there. When we asked if we could sit at the bar, her response was, "Um... yeah, I guess," which immediately made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. After we sat down, she continued staring at us as if we weren't supposed to be there. The service only got worse from there. She was rude while taking our order, then spent most of the time sitting directly across from us on her phone. She never once checked on us, asked how the food was, or if we needed refills or anything else. It was some of the most inattentive and unprofessional service I've experienced. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for it. It was mediocre at best. The vegetables in my curry were clearly freezer-burned, which completely ruined the dish. I also ordered soup with tofu in it, and the tofu tasted like it had been fried in oil that hadn't been changed in months. It had an old, rancid, greasy flavor that made it almost impossible to eat. Overall, the poor customer service and disappointing food made this a terrible experience. I won't be coming back, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
