Ok so this has been a long time coming, however I will just share my latest experiences. There is a pattern with this location which they may be aware of. The pattern is poor quality food (not everything in the bag) but some things. They know that they are right off the highway and the probability of someone returning is slim to none. While on my way to work, I ordered the $6 meal deal, requested no eggs and I received no eggs but the wraps were not cooked (doughy). Another time with the $6 meal deal, I requested no eggs n cheese and the wraps were burnt and they gave an extra burnt wrap so I had 3. Other times I ordered hash browns on two or more occasions, I asked for well done and they were cold or room temperature as if they said "whatever that's not happening"... I get that they are busy but why not just say that they cannot perfect the wraps if you change it. Also if making hash browns well done takes longer, have the customer wait on the side or come back around or inside. Don't just give them anything! I'm sure if it's that serious the customer will wait. Also I do know it doesn't take that long to heat for a few more seconds. Stop playing with MY money & Food! As a Food Service Manager... Dear Manager/ Owner, are you ok with this? Everyone deserves what they ordered, even if it's a customized order. If you don't care, that's not good. Holy cow the music in here is loud. They have the new electronic ordering stands here and will take your order in person (I think) or the app, which I used. They do have parking, but the drive thru is busy so be careful walking from parking lot to inside. 3 stars for this large chain. I default chains to 3 stars as they must be A-OK to expand as they have. read more

I DONT recommend this place. I first walked in and there was dirt everywhere, i had my kids with me and they have allergies, causing them to start sneezing. Very unsanitary if i do say so myself. Second i started to order food, and it was very expensive, ($19.00 for 2 donuts) and the employee started to yell at me for taking so long. The customers behind started to punch my children. This location is very frustrating and disappointing. I have placed orders ahead via the Dunkin app and two out of two times the orders turned out to be wrong. They seem to completely forget when you've ordered donuts and then make up a box with random donuts and try to push you away so they can get to the next car in the drive thru. It really takes the fun out of the experience and leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth. If you're craving coffee and donuts I'd recommend you try a different location or Beignets in Denville for fresh Donuts. read more

Stopped by this fairly new Dunkin Donuts this weekend and was disappointed. As I've stated before, all I want out of a DD is consistency and service with a smile. Is it too much to ask that a cup of DD coffee in Rockaway be the same as a cup of DD coffee in Parsippany? Or NYC? Or Boston? No, I don't think so. We got two coffees on Sunday...the flavored one was fine, but the plain old, regular cup of coffee tasted like it was watered down and old-it was awful. I can't imagine how or why it would taste this bad, but it did. We also got a chocolate covered donut and bowtie...they were ok, but a tad stale-got them late in the day so I'll blame it on that, but they still shouldn't be selling stale donuts-no matter how late in the day it is. 100% Recommend! I had stopped by in the morning and received phenomenal Drive-Thru service that was friendly and professional! They even suggested me their new products to try which made my experience that much better. I was really happy with the quality of my food and drinks as well. I was driving to my sister's, with my kids in the backseats, and decided to treat them to Dunkin Donuts. I got half a Dozen Donuts and four orders of Hashbrowns. I specified the donuts in the app as vanilla with sprinkles, chocolate with sprinkles, strawberry with sprinkles, Bavarian creme, Boston, creme, and apple cream. The service here is questionable. At the pickup window, an employee told me that they didn't have any Boston creme left, so I asked for a chocolate glazed instead. When I opened the box at my sister's place, I found 4 of the donuts that fit the description of strawberry, vanilla, Bavarian, and apple. But, instead of chocolate glazed, they gave me double chocolate, and instead of chocolate with sprinkles, they gave me some vanilla and green sprinkle concoction. But wait, there's more when my kids and nibblings tried the hashbrowns, they immediately spit them out. I wanted to check why, so I took a bite - I immediately wished I didn't. The Hashbrowns taste like two things... none of which anyone should ever associate with potatoes. The first is the chemical flavoring of either the freezer packaging within which these flavor duds come in or the preservatives that keep them fresh until the next ice age. The second are the flavorings left on the heating element all the meals this Dunkin Donuts has nuked through the years. Nobody should be subjected to this torture. read more

I stopped at this Dunkin Donuts as a pit stop on the way to Stroudsburg, PA. I ordered a medium coffee, original, cream and sugar, and was suprised by the quality of the coffee. Usually when I get the same thing in the city or NY state, the coffee tastes a somewhere in between black water and a low quality pour-over. This one had maybe 1.5 times the strength of any dunkin coffee I usually get, body with a smooth finish. WOW, really a delightful suprise. No joke, I went back up to the counter and told one of the workers, "This is the best dunkin donuts coffee I've ever had." They told me to fill out a survey. On the way back into the city I stopped here again and got an iced coffee. AGAIN, pretty good. Exceeded my expectations, and confirmed that I wasn't out of my mind. My friend got a coolatta, and that was way too sweet. But the coffee? wow, they are doing something right here, and deserves some amount of recognition, because more Dunkins need to be like this location. lol, seems like everyone is mad about their order getting mixed up. I've never had a good tasting coffee from here. Your job is to make and serve coffee. How hard is it to do that simple task correctly? I'm not asking for you to do something that isn't part of your job or some weird request! I'm asking you to do your job (one I'm assuming you chose willingly) correctly! The worst dunkin donuts I have ever been to. I've given their hot and iced drinks all a chance and they are all trash! Their coffee taste burned or old. Even their bacon, egg and cheese on a crossaint are burned. How can a dunkin be so shitty? I just don't understand. And when you claim a free beverage from your rewards app, they make the cheapest drink the free one! They don't do this at any other dunkin. There open 24 hours (inside & drive thru) coffees hot, place is clean, employees courteous and the donuts are fresh even at 12AM. Newish Dunkin. Double Decker.. Sorta. You can see a second floor from the road but its only for storage.. So it's a bit of an eyesore. Need some blinds up there. I haven't been through the drive thru; only inside, and it is a commitment. Both times I was in - on a Friday afternoon and on a Saturday morning - there were 6-7 visible people working. You may walk in and be third in line or 8th and you'll still be waiting like 15 minutes. Other than that, the fact that their "Share a Coke with.." Coke basket is filled with non-Share-a-Cokes, and that it's next door to a skeezy looking hotel that I thought was abandoned (but isn't)... it is a fairly average Dunkin. read more

I normally like this place but people you need to be aware that there are times that going through the drive thru it can be difficult for them to hear you or to understand. So it's better to go inside if you give your self some time. Because every now and again i always have an issue with this drive thru. Today, I asked for a large iced macchiato and got a small. I don't know what happened but k was told to pay an additional $2. Which was fine but clearly there was a misunderstanding. Especially since I pointed out the mistake the guy didn't argue but he did insist that I ordered the small which I did not. So maybe I was loud enough. So people just be aware that this happens and its probably better to go inside to order from now on. read more

Visit date: 8/1/2015 My family pulled up to the drive thru to order some quick food before we started our day. The young woman came over the speaker without greeting us and said "what can I get you?", this I can look past because I understand it can be busy. But after EVERY item we order she very rudely would say "is that it?!". We felt so rushed that my husband forgot to order his sandwich. Then we pulled up to the window and he asked if he could add something (so that he could eat too) and the young woman in the window very rudely responded "well what do you want to add" so my husband responded "if it's going to be a problem forget it" and the young girl responded "yea.....". I worked in fast food for 4 years and never was I instructed to not allow someone to make an additional purchase. The point of a business is too make money. Well you know what they say "location location location" couldnt be better right? within .2 miles of rt 80 so makes for a great quick stop.. the only problem here is how the parking lot is set up. Given its not DD's fault ... it needs to be that way due to the amount of accidents that occur at that exact spot with people trying to cut across 4 lanes and get right onto rt 80 (2 in each direction of traffic). I'm a fireman in rockaway and I can tell you we respond there probably 2-3 times a month for accidents.. and its always the same story! As far the DD itself... its like any other.. AND JUST LIKE any other DD I caution you to CHECK your order before you leave.. especially when you say NO sugar in your coffee .. I guess that isnt normal so they feel it necessary to put it in regardless. read more

First of all some staff members are rude. I happened to order from the drive-thru and clearly mentioned wanted the tuna and emphasised clearly to not put bacon. I took the order and didn't check it and fortunately I parked in their lot and opened the bag and see bacon.. I was like fine they made a mistake and I walked inside ( not to mention but due to my religious beliefs I cannot eat bacon ) Once I walked in I notified the staff memeber that order was wrong and they said NO this is what you said that you don't need bacon. I'll have to stick with the consensus and give this two stars. It's a good location, makes a great place to quick stop, but other than that you would be hard-pressed to find a reason to stop. I noticed the place wasn't very clean where I was there and the vibe was off, just seemed weird and uncomfortable. The coffee was burnt! It tasted watered down and aged. It's not wine people, this stuff needs to be fresh! Also, unlike other DDs, I have a niggling suspicion that the bagels weren't fresh from that same day and they keep some from the day before. I've never experienced this at other DDs, but the texture and flavor of the everything bagel I had here make me think that's the case. It's just not worth the hassle for a cup of coffee and some fresh bagels/donuts. read more

This Dunkin is the closest to my house and has a drive-thru yet I avoid going to it at all costs. The are the WORST. Terrible customer service, orders consistantly wrong and the WORST at On-the-go orders. They have no one assigned to them. I have ordered my on-the-go through the drive-thru 3 times in the last 2 months and I am waiting at the window for just as long as if I had ordered it there.what worse is I have ordered my on-the-go for inside pickup at least 3 times in the last month and each time I have waited for up to 5 minutes and eventually had to tell them my order wasnt there, each time them checking and seeing that no one made it. And I place the order while still in my house!! Right now my husband is there to pick up my on-the-go order. Waited 5 minutes finally asked them where it was and they insisted he produce the receipt because they lost it. I ordered it when he was still 10 minutes away so he didnt have to wait for them. I have complained to the manager and he just has excuses. The man at the drive up is the least friendly person I have ever come across in customer service. They dont have enout people working there that can handle this high paced job. They had 8 people there when I waited 8 minutes for my in-the-go last time!?!?!?
