We made a quick stop here to get some drinks. The store was large, with some spots to sit and dine at the store. There was a merchandise section across the pick up area. They had all the drinks and bakery items were available as well. The barista helped us to put in our order for 3 drinks. They were prepared in a short time. We waiter less than 5 minutes. Even though all things went well, my family members said the drinks were not properly made. They tasted bad. So that was a bummer. read more

Friendly staff. Inside is clean and spacious. Painting on the wall is vibrant and colorful. They have most of the merchandise, bakery and drink menu. This review is not from the in-store order, but through Doordash. The incompetence of the people that work at this location is mind boggling. I ordered a coffee and butter croissant. I was sent with a bag of popcorn. They even printed a receipt and they still stamped it on the bag of popcorn (see photo). So, I called the store location (time: 2:36 pm - 10/22/23) that's listed in my Doordash. I spoke to the "Supervisor Shift" and she said, "we don't do Doordash." Geez is this location ever open ? I was meeting my daughter near there yesterday at 3pm and I got there a few minutes early to get a nice cold drink and a cake pop for my grandson and low and behold they were closed again. While waiting for them to arrive I counted 15 people who came and tried to open the door plus myself. in a matter of 12 minutes. As a long time shareholder and customer I don't understand how at 3 pm on a tuesday they are closed, this is a regular occurence, even on friday nights. pm on a weekday is a horrible time to close, they do alot of the High school student business then. The employees are usually pretty good there except for the few with an attitude. Thank goodness for smart world coffee down the street, I wish they were still acrross the street. read more

Absolutely filthy place. The bathrooms actually have clearly not been cleaned in weeks. I went in one and it was so gross I went in the other and it was the same. Just wanted to update my review from a couple years ago. This place seems pretty on top of customer service, the cashiers and baristas all seem to enjoy being there, it's clean, and they make a good latte. After five or six returns I can definitely say they have turned it around! Old review... I've noticed recently that when I walk into a Starbuck's that they seem to be more packed than usual...then I read how they are cutting back on personnel AND pushing the App which allows you to order and pay before walking in the door. When I was here at this location the other day I saw, in-person, how this change impacts the customers. This is actually a fairly convenient location for me and they DO always have pretty consistent coffee. Unfortunately, with one cashier and two baristas, they were overwhelmed with the people who were ordering through the app. My service was pleasant, but because they are clearly understaffed we were in there for almost 20 minutes between waiting in line and waiting for a cup of tea and a caramel latte. Way too long a wait...again, NOT the employees fault as they were working as fast as they could...They needed at least one more person working...Hope they fix this as the coffee shop across the street is going to start killing them if they don't straighten things out. read more

Stopping by on a road trip; ordered a tall iced mocha and bought a Berry Trio yoghurt granola cup. The granola in the Berry Trio was mostly wet with some unidentified liquid; I brought it back to the counter in a pause between other customers and I was told that "honestly, this just happens sometimes in packaging". News to me and I've been eating these for years. Also really really really not my issue if your packaging process occasionally ruins the Berry Trio. When this happens, you need to refund the price. No refund offered, and after a few moments it was obvious none was going to be forthcoming. (Salesperson checked with someone that looks like a manager, I received a hard stare from the manager, and the sales person went back to other work. Shoddy, sloppy, and you took my money without giving me a product or a refund. Thumbs down. Also, the mocha is more like a sweet latte. Avoid this Starbucks. read more

Great little Starbucks in a strip mall off of 10. No drive thru but they are efficient and friendly. Mobile order pickup was quick and painless. They have both inside and outside seating. Lots of parking in the lot outside. Five stars. read more

A beautiful day in this beautiful world I sauntered into this Starbucks to get a trycluceiide jam packed nasty frappachino and life was fine. Then I get the hand crafted masterpiece from one of the smiling wage slaves who floats away blissfully leaving another larger, bulkier tough barista with that Sideshow Bob plume of jaundiced coral atop his Noggin. Now to be fair the straws were waaaay over by Him and I was a bit rude. I kind of shouted "could I have a straw please?" He looked at the straws and pointed. Turned his back on me. No most Karen's (what's the male version?) would get angry because they are ENTITLED! Lol he is a lowly BARISTA? But me? Nah. I saw a flash of rebellion in this modern day soft plantation and I laughed. I laughed the laugh of an older rebel with nearly all the rebellion knocked out of him - but not all! Driving through Denville, I saw the familiar window decals from the corner of my eye. One cartoon double-take and what may have been a legally-questionable lane change later, I entered my caffeinated haven. I didn't have time to check the reviews until after I ordered, and by the time I got my drink, I realized they were spot-on. It was fairly empty when I got here, but it still took considerably longer than usual to get my latte. The staff didn't appear to be slacking or lazy; they were just a little slower than I'm used to. My drink is perfect, and isn't that what really matters? Weird observation: the parfait/sandwich refrigerated shelves are empty; instead, there's a sign that says to ask for items. Maybe it's broken? I got here right before a mad rush of people arrived, so I claimed a great loungey sofa by the front window. There's ample seating in here, & I'd probably stop in again if I ever find myself driving through Denville again. read more

The service here is pretty good, but could be faster. Usually the order is accurate, I haven't had to send a drink back. It gets pretty packed in here during peak hours and on weekends. I've tried to do work here but it can be challenging because the majority of the seating is in the front of the store, by the doors. That makes it difficult to stay warm when it's cold out, I've even tried to work there wearing my jacket. Theres a little bit of seating in the back, but it's right next to the bathrooms. Not very many outlets here either. Also, the parking lot gets crowded quickly, which can be challenging as well. read more

Besides the staff being super unfriendly, they aren't trained properly or they just don't care. My friend has had issues with ordering oatmeal in that they don't give her everything that's supposed to be included, so I decided to give it a try and ordered the oatmeal. The good news is I got all of my toppings. The bad news is the oatmeal cup only had dry oats!!! I will give them 2 stars because the drinks don't always taste too bad. If you have a question about a drink, you're being treated like a pain in their butt. Every time I've been by this Starbucks it felt like grand central station which can be expected of most starbucks at certain times of day, I suppose. The baristas work hard and my drink is always correct and the few times it wasn't it was corrected. I only have two points to make: There are two types of employees at this Starbucks. The slightly disgruntled impersonable ones who don't seem to know how to make eye contact and the ones that who seem to always maintain a more cheerful helpful attitude which I know is hard to maintain in any customer service position - but it is noticed.
