Denville rocks! It has fantastic food choices and friendly people. One of our favorite places after…read morechurch is the farmers market. Plenty of locally grown produce. Excellent prices. Great variety too. They also have cheese, meat, soup, honey, mushrooms, pickle and cake vendors too. If you get hungry, you can get a cooked snack a grab seat at the picnic table. Parking in the lot is looney. The lines aren't clear and traffic flow is ad lib. We park on the street since we have see close calls in the lot. Love fresh foods and want to support local businesses? This is a good way to get that done.

I love fresh produce and just about everything I buy here I can cook on the grill (I pride myself on ecellent grilling skills!)...from peppers to corn to green beans to asparagus-all are better grilled. Stop for some fresh fish, beef, chicken, etc and I have a perfect summer meal. The Denville market is a bit smaller than the Morristown one, but they still have great vendors a number of which are not over at Morristown. The location for this market is very convenient with lots of parking-and it's an easy in and out. Can't wait til June!

Inside was an eclectic little mix of memorabilia in a cozy atmosphere with a warm greeting from the owner. We tried the Babaganoush and Moutabal Beets served with pita that were warm, light, and still full of air fresh from the oven. The Babaganoush was very good with fresh pomegranate and olives. The Beets were packed full of flavor and perfectly balanced with lemon juice and pomegranate molasses. For Dinner we tried the chicken Ouzi, with fresh vegetables and just the right balance of spice inside a flakey phyllo crust. Hubby had the Beef Shawarma and also enjoyed every bite. So nice to have a Mediterranean option in town, and we will definitely be back to try more of the menu options. Price wise rate as 'OK', pretty average but some portions small for cost, but we certainly didn't leave hungry.

I ordered the eggs benedict which came out nice and quick. downside was the hollandaise sauce was foamy, watery, and had no taste instead of a rich and creamy sauce. i had to add salt to this which is abnormal for me when going out to eat. also the english muffin itself was stale and not toasted enough. the dish came with potato's which weren't anything special but oddly enough the side salad was the best part of meal. highlight of the restaurant was the fun funky tunes

If you've ever eaten super fresh eggs, then you know there's a considerable difference from supermarket eggs -- even the organic and free range eggs that you can buy in a supermarket. Cedar Gate Farm eggs are excellent (or woohoo as good as it gets). I bought 2 dozen for $12.00 ($6.00 each). Definitely worth it, IMHO. Excellent flavor! An egg farmer once explained to me that a fresh egg has a firm jelly-like white when cracked opened, and an egg with a watery white is not fresh. The store is small, adorable and clean located on a real farm in Denville, NJ. You can see the goats, chickens and other animals roaming around. I love what they did with their property. They put a ton of work into it and it's meticulously maintained. They have a few other items, but I was really only interested in the eggs and they didn't disappoint. They have a few vegetables, homemade pickles, goat cheese, honey, jam, country-style gifts, a small selection of candy, etc. I think I saw a sign for pie, but don't recall seeing any -- maybe sold out.
