I understand the service industry can be extremely stressful and having to deal with rude customers can put you in a mood HOWEVER my order was simple, only one item, and I was friendly to the gentleman taking my money yet didn't receive a "please", "thank you" or "have a nice day"-- nothing but a demand for money and a cold stare. I understand current times are still uncertain but friendliness ESPECIALLY when you choose to be in the customer service industry goes a long way. Maybe the gentleman was just having a bad day but friendly customer service is what makes me want to go back to an establishment in addition to their food/drink offerings and I think many people seem to forget that. I go out of my way to go to the DD in Auburn Hotel Rd they are polite and get the order right . Poland DD has been rude and get the order wrong most of my visits. I have given Poland many chances. Their customer service is awful. When going through drive through in morning ,I get Yay for a response not good morning. If I order more then 1 coffee my order has been wrong every time. I tried using the on the go order here ,but when I got there ,I went through the drive through. I pulled up to the to go speaker and said I was there to pick up a on the go order they told me to come inside. When I got inside I went to the counter to pick it up. I stood there for 10 min till someone came from out back and asked me what I was waiting for. I told her my on the go order, she yelled down to cashier, who was taking other people in lines order . Her reply was you want a "vanilla what" I responded by say my ordered over again. Her reply" vanilla extra extra is that it. I said no asked for a med hot coffee extra cream sweet n low (pink)" Then dead silence...I asked Did you get that" Her response was YAY. I drove around to window were a nice man took my money and handed me my coffee he said Good Morning and thank you WOW. I told him his co worker needed to work on her customer service skills he apologized to me I let him know I didn't have a issue with him. I left and started to drive to work, not sure why I did not check the coffee before I left but i did not. I took a sip and mine had no cream and loaded with sugar...Come on really!!! How do you mess that up. There was no one behind me and no one in parking lot so they were not busy....I would avoid this DD...I would suggest the owner of the franchise make a trip to the drive through a few time in the morning maybe they will have the same delightful experience.. I do not understand it not hard to be nice to people who are giving you money for the service. Why if you hate people do you work with the people.
