I'm from Jersey so I understand you need to ID everyone who PURCHASES tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol, but to ask the other person is a bit off to me. Our truck was completely across from the store, a waste of everyone's time. My boyfriend already showed his ID, why do you need mine? I don't even drink and I'm literally 22!!! Obviously we were upset, we finished a 5 hour drive and were exhausted. The next morning, he did the same thing w a beer that my boyfriend wanted to buy. He needed to see my ID AGAIN. I simply don't get that and it was just awkward. He had an attitude. You shouldn't have attitudes with people who driver over the road. They're exhausted and hungry by the time they get to a TA. Just so weird to me. I get the rules, but I've been to SK many weed shops, bars, tobacco shops, vape shops and never got ID'd because my BOYFRIEND was buying something. A customer watched both these situations happen and he agreed he'd be just as mad and it's absolutely ridiculous. We've been all over the US. This place sucks food is great but Daniel is not a good cashier.
