I really shouldn't give a star when i stand at the front counter and three employees pass in front if me without acknowledging my presence.

Honestly I was super surprised because the front is a yoga studio and I'm in Scranton PA and I just thought I was going to get some lackluster breakfast. But this one is a hidden treasure. I had the salmon avocado toast and it was not skimpy, fresh fresh greens. They accommodated me on a yogurt parfait giving me extra fruit and it was a huge bowl I couldn't finish. Very good! I recommend if you're looking for a healthy place to eat breakfast with gluten free options where ingredients are fresh and they don't skimp on the portions

I decided on the buffalo chicken grilled cheese--a classic grilled cheese with shredded chicken tossed in buffalo sauce. The bread was perfectly toasted, the cheese melted all the way through, and the buffalo sauce had a mild kick with a familiar flavor. I really enjoyed this sandwich. I also had a cup of broccoli and cheddar soup, which was delicious, along with a sweet, iced tea. The cafe also has a boutique store and even offers yoga classes. Excellent brunch at Mansour's. Looking for a local, chic, relaxing place for brunch? We thought…read morethis place was spot on. We looked at a few different options for places to eat and thought this one would be nice for a sit down discussion. We got there around 10 AM and a few patrons were scattered about. Quite a variety of different places to sit, we sat at a table for two near the bar. Handed a breakfast/lunch menu so many things looked so good. We weren't sure what to go with so we asked for some of their favorites. We were offered suggestions on the avocado toast and the poppy. I went with the avocado toast. As always, I bagged the onion and kept all the other ingredients which included avocado spread, spinach, tomato, sunflower seeds, and an egg over easy. You have a choice of toast, including white, wheat, or rye. Gotta go with wheat! Absolutely a terrific place to go to and support the local community and get everything you'd want and one of those chain type coffee shops (you know the green one I'm talking about) and get a much more natural, even lower cost option

However, the food left a lot to be desired. We ordered the quiche and the avocado toast with a side of potatoes. Potatoes were burned, well, charred really. They did take them off the bill. Quiche was so so, and the avocado toast had a ton of raw spinach on it, which was hard to eat along with the toast. Should have come steamed or sautéed instead. Bacon was good though! I was very excited about the pastry case at first since everything in there looked fresh and home made, but when I was trying to decide what to get "to go", like one of their muffins, I saw flies buzzing around and landing on the items. No thank you. I know flies are around in the summer, but the pastry case should be shielded from bugs at all times. I think if I were in the area I may give this place another chance since I liked other things about it like the atmosphere and the fact that it did look like a local family favorite.
