The staff and atmosphere is so welcoming not to mention how clean all the ingredients are. This will definitely be my go-to spot all summer for a coffee, smoothie or protein bowl!

The quality of the product, the customer service, and the human connection is something you simply won't find at big chains. The prices aren't necessarily higher when you shop local either. Ordered our usual peanut butter total grain (sans banana) with chocolate protein, and a peanut butter banana with chocolate protein. The flavor of my total grain was awesome. I LOVE peanut butter and it pairs so well with oats and chocolate. This has been my go-to every time and you should try it if you too love peanut butter. Unfortunately their espresso machine might need some repairs. The owner Jose was in today and he remembered me despite not seeing me in over 2 years. In corporate speak, he definitely has mastered the art of "connecting with the customer." I appreciated that very much and we had a nice conversation. He provided me with a cup of drip coffee. Much to my delight, they happen to brew bustelo! Me gusta el sabor fuerte, no azúcar o leche para mi! Going into Li's was a great way to kickstart my day literally and figuratively. 5 stars all the way.

There's a large parking lot across the street which makes for ease of access and there's also on street parking. My typical brunch booze is mimosas or espresso martinis but since they had quite an impressive and well thought out boozy brunch menu I opted for non traditional martinis that just made sense given the weather and warmth inside - French Toast Martini & a Rice Pudding Martini. Both a 10/10! Flavorful, strong and mighty and fun! We wanted to try a few things for our entrees so we decided to share the Quiche du Jour, Shrimp & Crab Grits, Turkey Chili and a Side of Bacon. When I tell you that this food didn't miss on a single thing ... literally SLAMMING! We ate until we couldn't eat anymore, ok I lied, we ate until there was just enough room for dessert lol because I had to order the Lemon Bar ... HOMERUN!!!! Seriously not a single thing that could've been better with the entire meal! Our server was also friendly and really thorough too which made for a dare I say it, 5 STAR RATING!!! We're definitely coming back and will bring friends and family when in town bc it's just that dang good :)

Pretty sure Village Idiot is the OG brewery in the underrated town of Mt. Holly, which makes it one…read moreof the oldest breweries still operating in South Jersey. Hard to tell exactly when it opened, as their website offers scant information, but they first started posting on Facebook in 2011 if that is anything to go by. They don't have a large footprint in the NJ brewing scene as they don't distribute to any liquor stores or bars/restaurants (they don't even offer beers in cans to go), and they don't do any big events other than the typical karaoke or trivia nights. What they do offer is a nice place to hang out in an old historic building right on the Main Street in the downtown area, and a solid lineup of beers. One thing that makes them stand out is a great selection of beers on nitro. From my experience with NJ breweries, you're lucky to find a single beer on nitro. At Village Idiot there are seven of them, most of them dessert stouts like a cookie butter white stout and a salted caramel milk stout. All that we tried were delicious and not crazy high in ABV like other dessert stouts. Flights are only $10 which is pretty cheap compared to other NJ breweries. Of note is that as of November 2025 they no longer allow outside drinks including water bottles like Nalgenes and Stanley Cups. Too many idiots sneaking in alcohol, according to their social media. Overall it has a bit more of a dive bar vibe only frequented by locals rather than a traditional NJ brewery, but the beer is definitely good enough, and the surrounding Main Street charming and quaint enough that I would definitely return.

To our surprise, they opened a brick and mortar shop! Yessss! Cool little place, room for birthday parties, seats inside and out, nice big clear menu, and some fun specials, oh and lots of delicious flavors. I had 2 scoops the Lemon Bar (might be my new favorite ice cream) with the blueberry cheesecake, soooo good! The kids got mint chip and rainbow sherbert; separately, of course, that would be a strange combination lol. My wife had Lemon bar as well. It's really good. Lady working let us sample a few flavors to decide...and it was still a tough choice. Cannot wait to go back. Happy and sad that it's not closer to me. Check them out. Yum!

Mind you, there was NO ONE behind us. Disgusting customer service and extremely disheartening when you're in line for ice cream and have an excited little girl picking out her flavors only to then have her asking why they were so rude to us. NEVER giving my business here!
