I love this chain of donut restaurants. We went here for a quick dessert break since it was in the…read moresame mall type complex as where we were getting our vision checked. The place was pretty empty and had only one person working the front of the store front. Apparently the place makes fresh donuts that can be bought in any amount- from single donut to dozens. The place has donuts broken down into multiple categories- fan favorites, specials, and the regular type donuts. The special for this month was peach. We ended up getting a blueberry pancake donut. It came out pretty quickly (considering there were so many orders for pick up). It came out in a pretty cute single use box. The donut had a good amount of syrup on it which really made it taste delicious. The blueberry tasted pretty fresh. I also liked how warm the donut came out. It was so warm and fresh that the dough was crumbly to the touch.

The doughtnuts are awesome, but the breakfast sandwich is out of this world... if you like…read moremortadella like I do! I doesn't have the saltiness of bacon, sausage or pork roll so if saltiness is your thing this might not be the thing for you. Atmosphere has the creative/artist studio kind of vibe, which based on the artwork seems to be exactly what they are going for. So why only 4 stars... 1. the doughnuts are not labeled. I get they rotate, but how hard is it clip a little plastic sign on the front of the rack. So now they have to explain every doughnut to every customer and then you need to remember or they have to explain them again. It's very inefficient as the line grows. Also, there are tons of kids so parents need to then re-explain the choices to their kids. Nothing against kids, but just magnifies the inefficiency. 2. The coffee was TERRIBLE.. undrinkable. It was very weak/watery and they added so much half & half, that it was practically white! What goes better with a doughnut than coffee? I had planned to eat right there, but took my food to go because I needed better coffee. Sorry, but invest in a real coffee machine and possibly a trained barista because no matter how good the doughnuts are, they cannot make up for terrible coffee. I will go back, but will definitely BMOC... bring my own coffee!
