What were once incredible apple pies overflowing with apples are now a shadow of their former selves having shrunk in size. They also cost more. So it is less for more. Same with the donuts. They are now more like mini donuts. More of, less for more. Don't mind paying more because of the Biden inflation. But do mind the shrinkage in size.

We ate outside, although eating in is an option. The hot dogs were tasty and the chili had a nice flavor. We liked the cheese slice on the bottom of the chili dogs. We loved the coleslaw. We couldn't get enough of those onion rings! We were tempted to get another order. They were so good! Service was friendly and fast and the prices are reasonable. The menu has a lot of choices, including specials and home made donuts. The staff made sure the outside area stayed clean and feee of debris. Ample parking.

I could not choose between all the sweets, so I grabbed a few. Chocolate croissant, M&M cookie (a fan favorite) and the standout winner: half and half cookie with some kind of amazing frosting (more like a cream cheese topping), not overpoweringly sweet so the cookie still stands out. Will definitely be back. Coffee and treats in total less than my fancy latte at Starbucks!

We'd been traveling since the wee hours of the morning and decided to grab some local coffee before making the final push to Bar Harbor. We found this spot on Yelp. When we arrived to find them inside a gas station convenience store, we were apprehensive. But, once we made our way inside, we found a cute little coffee counter with a menu full of fun specialty espresso beverages. Their drinks trend toward the sweeter side but the espresso is solid and the beverages were good. The service was friendly and they have a drive thru. Get to it!

We ordered a 32oz Rush, a 24oz Rush, and cinnamon rolls. When our drinks came out, both were made as 24oz. Mistakes happen, so my roommate politely pointed out that one of them was supposed to be a 32oz. Instead of remaking the drink or putting more rush into it, the barista simply poured it into a larger cup and filled the rest with ice. Normally I wouldn't complain about something minor like a size mix-up, but there's over a $2 price difference between the 24oz and 32oz drinks, so it was disappointing to feel like I didn't actually receive what I paid for.

My wife and I love to discover and check out new spots for coffee. Through social media we figured…read moreout Morning Moose would be nearby us in Portland for an event with their coffee trailer. Besides the trailer they do have a brick and mortar location in Richmond as well as an in progress location in Topsham. Lastly they also have a private cafe located inside IDEXX Labs. Their Portland event was basically a collaboration of Moose. Morning Moose partnered up with Big Moose Harley-Davidson for a breakfast bingo. We stopped in for just the coffee though. Morning Moose just dropped their Christmas seasonal drinks so perfect time to check them out. Besides coffee they also offer mini donuts. Although we did pass on those this visit due to already having breakfast. Will be a must try next time though. The staff were friendly and greeted us with a smile with quickly made drinks. I ended up getting their Gingerbread Latte while my wife got their Peppermint Pine. Besides these they had a couple other flavored lattes as well as a cranberry energy drink. I very much enjoyed the gingerbread and think it's an overall underrated flavor for the holiday season. My wife and I also enjoyed net peppermint drink but think we would pass on the crushed candy canes next time. A little overpowering. Overall a great experience trying this coffee trailer and look forward to finding the trailer or visiting one of their cafes to grab another drink and some mini donuts!
