Good coffee, lattes. Hot breakfast sandwiches. And, of course, great donuts. Veggie breakfast sandwich for those who lean that way.

I find myself gravitating towards places that care about wellness, which Whole Life certainly does. What has been consistently disappointing is the customer service. There are very few employees (other than the owners, who are friendly and great to talk to) that go out of their way to provide good customer service. I've been the only one to walk into the store and I don't get greeted by the employee sitting at the desk, or I get completely ignored because a group of the employees friends are in the store. It's strange and uncomfortable. The coffee is good, but even with that, if you approach the counter, there's a chance your barista will be indisposed with their friends, or on their phone and didn't notice you heading to the counter. I get it, I've worked in customer service. Some days are harder than others to be cheerful and welcoming. This is a sustained pattern, which begs the question, why are you still in customer service? I do hope Whole Life succeeds, but I won't be as active a customer as I once hoped to be.

What a great, mellow vibe. The spinach and feta quiche and bagel sandwich were fantastic, but what…read morereally sealed the deal - and what literally sent me back moments later to get another one, and a large this time - was the blackberry lemonade. Wow.

First, the drive-thru line moved at the speed of continental drift. I'm fairly certain I aged a year waiting for a simple burger and fries. When I finally reached the window, the staff looked as thrilled to be there as someone waiting at the DMV on a Monday morning. The food? Spectacularly disappointing. The fries were cold and limp -- not even remotely crispy. My burger looked like it had been assembled during an earthquake. The bun was squished, the toppings were haphazardly thrown on, and the cheese wasn't even melted. I've had better meals out of a vending machine. To top it off, they forgot half the order. No napkins, no sauce, and somehow no straw for the drink. It felt less like fast food and more like a scavenger hunt. The dining area wasn't much better. Tables were sticky, the soda machine was out of multiple options, and the whole place just felt tired and neglected. I don't expect five-star dining from McDonald's, but I do expect warm food and basic accuracy. This visit managed to miss even that low bar. I'll be thinking twice before stopping here again -- and maybe packing a sandwich instead.

I has a big mac meal and fries also with a white milk. They had me pull over for 15 to 20 minutes. When they ''passed'' it they about threw it at me and I thought HOW RUDE. And when I opened the big mac. Guess what I find? It was covered in thousand island dressing and I mean covered. I had a hard time picking it up. And th3 fries were not fresh and the milk tasted.... expired. Also the ambiance was a outrage becauee it took 1 hour for me to order. It was an outrage like I said. Also the cashier was snobby like he just rolled outta bed and called it good the way the gentleman was acting. Anyways to save you the trouble DO NOT GO TO MCDONALD'S IN MACHIAS!!!
