The food hot and fresh. But I would mostly like to recognize the service. I came before work around 6:30 in the morning and the worker Robert noticed I have scrubs on through the drive-through. And gave me the medical discount and i asked him what the medical discount was and he explained it for those in the medical field, and he proceeded to say how much he appreciates us and in i quote " you never know who will be saving your life one day it might be you" and proceeded to thank me. And as a healthcare worker I can say we don't get very much appreciation very often , and that felt very nice and kind to hear. He almost had me in tears. 10/10 service. Service was distrusted. I asked a simple question and had a computer shoved in my face. I was genuinely trying to ask a question about prices and had an employee just tell me to look at her screen. I wasn't even upset, I was just trying to check in. These employees need a vacation or some stress management because now they take it out on customers who are just trying to order. No one's a swindler, I wish I felt more trusted in this business read more

Seven years going to the same location every single day minus a few days wouldn't use another Dunkin' if I had to even when I'm out of state I don't go to Dunkin' Donuts just because I'm so spoiled here they treat you great the food is always great they get your order perfect and are generally just nice people all the way around read more

I asked for a plain bagel with cream cheese and they gave me this . Not sure what this is . I also asked for an iced coffee with milk and sugar and I didn't get either. They won't be getting my business anytime soon. read more

Absolutely the worse Dunkin' drive thru I have ever had the displeasure of waiting in line at. They now have a sign up saying to be patient and that they are "training". The owners of this place better take a good long look at who they have working there. There is absolutely ZERO excuse for a 20 minute wait at the drive thru for a cup of coffee and a bagel. This particular Dunks use to be awesome to visit but now I would rather have a root canal done than grace this horrible place with my presence or more importantly my hard earned cash. No mistake. The on-duty later evening employee cracked inappropriate jokes at this location. I was contacted by Yelp, stating this must have been a mistake on my part... Nope. FYI night manager... Whew chile. My sister and I are visiting from Boone, and we are not from around here. I had been to 2 other Dunkin' locations, simply trying to get some food/coffee. The other 2 locations were absolutely terrible, so I prayed as I pulled up to this location's drive thru. We pulled up to the drive thru, and we were instantly treated with the great service any good person deserves. The employees made our coffees extremely fast and well. We had told a woman, Grace, about out misadventures. She was one of the nicest people we have ever met. Great coffee, great service, and a great experience after a tiring journey. Thank you, Grace, for being so kind, patient, and efficient! WE WILL BE COMING TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!! read more

yes, I thought it was just me; but I see by some other reviews it wasn't me. I ordered what I thought would be a very easy order, he offered no help thru the drive thru I said never mind, and decided to come into the store, they made fun of my clothing, continued to make what I was ordering purposely harder than it needed to be. This store was great for a very short time. I am a daily patron of the Springs Rd store. Send the 127 staff to springs rd so they see how to properly run a store. Springs rd has this store beat by leaps and bounds. From now on I will go out of my way to avoid the 127 store. 127 staff is rude. Customer service is non-existent. Employees are slack, sloppy, and lazy. Employee appearance is awful. Management is lacking. This store is dirty both behind the counter and in the seating area. Last three visits coffee was luke warm. Thankfully a microwave was nearby at my next stop each time. I am really surprised this store can survive in the Viewmont community with the way it is run. I have held on writing a review because I would much rather write positive reviews. This morning was the trigger to make me take the time to write this. The staff was rude, they had no change on hand for the three customers in front of me. Another employee (manager?) made comments out loud about how the cashier and patrons would just have to "deal with it and make it work" since they had no change. Got in the car to my wife's mocha barely warm, my black coffee was not exactly hot but def better than what my wife had. Oh and I know it's a fast food establishment but the hot pink hair on an adult? Much rather see tattoos and piercings than hot pink hair. I guess it fits the scene of the store and how management feels about operating a business in the "higher class" part of town. Good luck. Hope you turn it around. We went there around noon. There was one loud group of customers by the pickup counter and a couple on the right who looked like a manager and employee having business meeting. When we were at the order counter a couple of employees came to the register, but they just talked to each other and ignored us. After a few minutes we ordered some doughnuts, drinks and a sandwich. I didn't want to wait for my order at the pickup counter so we sat by the entrance with the doughnuts. They called out for our drinks but not my sandwich. I was waiting for a few more minutes then I heard one of the employees asking one of the customers in the loud group if he had ordered a sandwich. I realized this must be mine, but when I went to the counter to pick it up she said "I called it while ago" with an attitude. I find this a little absurd considering we were the only customers waiting on their order, as everyone in the loud group by the pick up counter had already ordered. If she had called, I probably couldn't hear over the noise. She could have called again or brought it out from behind the counter. I found the experience to be very rushed and unfriendly, I will not be returning to this location. read more

I've been going to this Dunkin Donuts since it opened a couple of years ago, it's the only one in this part of Hickory. When it first opened it was great, people nice, bagels good, etc. Since I moved a little further away it's not convenient, I have to drive now, so I have only gone a few times in the last year and every time it has been worse. The first time I went back since I moved, probably a couple months after the last time, everything was smaller but the prices were the same. One instance I had to call the manager because there was a ridiculously, sloppy amount of cream cheese on my bagel - enough for 3 bagels, it was gross. We have had missing donuts or wrong donuts, cold coffee. But last week was it for me, I was up at 4:00 am and really wanted a bagel so I went over there about 5:30-6:00 am and the staff was making fun of a person in drive thru not realizing I had come into the store. No apologies for that. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese, med. coffee and two donuts for my husband. When I got home, about 5 minutes away, the coffee was lukewarm. When I opened the bagel there wasn't enough cream cheese for one bagel, it was toasted but chewy, like it had been microwaved because it was stale. This was right after they opened the doors for the day! Maybe they need to stick to just donuts. I will be going to Panera Bread the next time I get the urge for a bagel and coffee. read more
