Something they should do all of the time- SUPPORT SMALL/LOCAL businesses! This is the only coffee joint in the area to my knowledge, and it is by far the BEST coffee I've ever had. I am not over exaggerating, if you're a Starbucks fan, they have nothing on what this girl can do! My drink tasted SO perfect. My dad, riding in the car with me said "I've already heard you say 'OMG/MMMM' too many times, I get it, the drink is good. Now shut up!." Lol! I HIGHLY recommend trying it out! There's no indoor seating area to my knowledge, and parking is limited since it's downtown, but they have the cutest little table and chairs with tabletop games and adorable decor! There are also many things to purchase from local artisans from jewelry to clothing. Overall this is one of my favorite places to get coffee around. For its convenience, the best coffee, and the variety of seating and places to shop within the lodge, I give the Coffee Lodge a definite 5-Stars! I would go there with friends or family to enjoy a morning or afternoon coffee. I would go there to take my laptop and work for a while in a secluded corner while enjoying some delicious coffee. Make sure you follow google maps exactly, because it really is just a bus that is in the corner of a strip mall! They have seating in the bus and outside but you can just take your drink to go and they also have cute coffee bus stickers! The drinks were super cheap which I love and this is a great pit stop if you are going up to the Blue Ridge or Grandfather Mountain for a hike!
