It's located in a tiny row of storefronts with a single strip of shared parking spaces. Inside, it felt warm and inviting with a few seats by the window. The displays with donuts were mostly empty except with a select few still left over. It's cool that they offer both yeast and cake donuts to choose from. I ended up getting a half dozen with red velvet frosted, cherry glazed, regular glazed, lemon filled jelly donut, and two more that I can't recall. And I got this interesting chocolate milk that had a good amount of protein in it too. Donuts and milk! The donuts tasted pretty good. A good combination of airiness and fluffy and seemed to be fully cooked through. That lemon filled jelly donut was pretty hefty too; definitely one of the heaviest donuts I've ever had...lol As I was checking out, the lady behind the counter informed me this particular store has been going strong for more than 40 years, which is damn impressive!! I left with a cinnamon roll donut and a apple danish. I was loving the donut as I ate it while driving to my destination. The sweetness, texture, moistness, and cinnamon flavor was all there. I could have ate a couple more. The next day I ate the apple danish. It held up nicely a day later and wasn't all dried out. It was reminiscent of the apple danishes that McDonalds used to sell years ago, but 10x better. The apple filling was a sweet delight that i can rarely find. I really enjoyed the pastries here and everything tasted way better than they looked. If I would have known the goods were going to be great, I would have bought a lot more. To bad I won't be back out that way until next summer.

We were the only ones there at the time so we were able to place an order right away. The display of different types of mini donuts needs a little bit of work I thought. They just put up old donuts against the glass and it didn't look very appetizing. They make fresh donuts right in front of you (which is amazing). I wish the dipping and sprinkling process was a bit more efficient and presentable. They dipped the donuts in buckets of frostings with their hands (gloves on). Perhaps using a tong and keeping the frosting in a more presentable container would help. It also takes a bit of time to make since it is freshly made. The donuts are very good, especially when they're fresh. They do get a bit chewy and the frostings start to taste a bit stale after a day so need to make sure to eat them all the same day. I ordered the chocolate, French toast, strawberry, cinnamon sugar, m&m, pebbles and the cookies and creme flavors. The chocolate dip doesn't really taste like chocolate but more like runny chocolate syrup. The white sugar frosting is good. I would definitely go back for some more fresh cinnamon sugar donuts.

The barista was incredibly friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the coffee, and a great conversationalist. Between the warm environment, excellent service, and great coffee, it's an easy place to relax, catch up with friends, or spend some time on your own. Definitely a spot I'll be returning to.
