New manager at this store is wonderful. Catherine always has a smile on her face and remembers the orders of "regulars" which is great and helps streamline things. Whoever manages or owns this particular Dunkin location either doesn't know or doesn't care that their store is probably the worst local Dunkin. If you're lucky, 2 people will be working there when you come in. However I have often seen just 1 employee working the front both taking orders and preparing them. The lack of training is apparent in some employees; which I need to state is the fault of the business manager and not the employee. Although two employees were working today, the employee on register had to interrupt the employee preparing food multiple times for help entering my order into the system. Afterward, they had prepared my food item but forgot my drink, and I was asked what I was waiting on and that they couldn't find or didn't print a receipt. I repeated my order and received my drink, but I noticed the color looked off, so I asked if they had remembered the espresso shot. The employee asked if I paid for an espresso shot, which I confirmed I did. It's not a huge deal but I was a little surprised at the implication that I was asking for something I didn't pay for when it was them who failed to print my receipt or order info for themselves to fulfill. Additionally I ordered the sourdough breakfast sandwich and they forgot to toast the bread. Again, not the end of the world, but I feel like every time I come to this Dunkin and there are more than like 2 customers waiting it's just chaos behind the counter. I feel badly for the people who work here. I only come because it's close to my job. If you want a better Dunkin experience you can try the other local one, by North Shore high school. read more

I'm not a DD fan, my favorite coffee is McD's, but sometimes when that caffeine crave overwhelms you, you gotta do what you gotta do. So this DD was nearby, and I settled for a medium coffee and a corn muffin, The coffee was hot and fresh, I'm just not a fan of the DD taste. And The muffin was tasty but it was cold. The worst Dunkin Donuts ever. They for some reason don't follow their own store hours listed on the door. A small DD IN glen cove were locals and folks going to catch at train nearby can grab a coffee , donuts and other breakfast and lunch offerings and yes they also have a limited section with Baskin Robbins ice cream stuff. I prefer this location cause it's less crowded then the other 3 dds in glen cove . The selection of dunkin donuts and Baskin Robbins stuff is not grand but it gets the job done with what's available . Place is clean with some seating inside and I see the same people working here whenever I stop by. I also like this location cause they carry the soft ice cream on a cone for 2 BUCKS which I prefer on a nice sunny day. read more

The young man named Matt helped me at this incredible establishment today. He serves to be an inspiration for all young men looking to work. He is a beast. He goes sicko mode when making the drinks and makes them very well. The kid is going places. He is like a mother lion caring for her cubs who are the customers. The store around is not vibrant but Matt's personality brings life and a foreign light to this small but important shopping center. Matt is light in the darkness. If I was to vote for one man to be the ​ruler of the world I would choose Matt from the Dunkin in Glen Head. read more

Wait time varies.. and service can be iffy. But Check your receipt before you leave. Make sure the price charged is correct. Especially for combos! I was charged the incorrect price for a combo and they weren't willing to fix it or even cared when I brought it to their attention that the price on the receipt was not the one on the overhead board. I'll just have to stop at another DD instead, because the workers are indifferent or don't know customer service. (I don't think being charged the correct price is asking too much but apparently at this DD it is) Also last week when one of my coworkers asked for a different cup Because the one they gave him had a cover that was leaking they refused. I have been going to the Glen Head DD store for 10 years....several management and ownership changes later, the service has not changed. Lately, some of the staff seems friendlier but I've had to escalate service and quality issues several times....why do I keep going you might ask....well, my two kids, 4 and 5 years old, love going there and we live around the corner, so it's hard not to. The WORST situation for us came about this weekend. My wife and I ordered a birthday cake on Friday for my 4 year old's party on Sunday. You would think they'd value our business as it was not only a large cake but we are daily customers. We were told to come in 30 minutes ahead on Sunday to pick it up, just in time for the party. Sad to report, there was no cake to be found, after initially spending 15 minutes with the young man taking the order and another 20 minutes on Sunday at pickup waiting for them to find the cake. The 2 girls couldn't work with us on a common sense resolution of replacing the cake or let alone reach a manager. There is just no excuse for a business to be so poorly run. What a disappointment.....I can live with having my coffee order messed up, my egg sandwiches wrongly made and having to pay for a replacement, being overcharged, but I just can't accept a logical explanation for screwing up a simple cake order leaving a 4 year old asking "where's my favorite ice cream cake at his party"......while I think the new manager seems like a nice guy there is just no EXCUSE for a business to put anyone in this situation and expect that a half-baked apology to make it right.
