Service was typical of this place lately. They fail to acknowledge you because they have their backs towards the counter doing whatever else other than work. The ridiculous part is that they have two tables that are for two people each. Before Covid they had more tables and you were able to sit. Mind you it's about 10 or 12° F right now and I have to sit outside in my car to wait for one of these people who were talking to each other while sitting at opposite tables to get out. It's more than enough that people do not have any decency anymore but the lack of tables really brings this place down. I might as well go down to the one in Bayshore where I can get a seat instead of freeze my butt off in the car and waste my gas.Theres plenty of room for more seats and tables EDIT: I added pics after both left. read more

I walked in to Order coffee and the employee (a young girl) said "I'll be with you in one second." Me and 2 others stood at the counter for over 5 min while she made to go orders. Another employee (older man) walked over to refill the donuts and told the girl that she has customers waiting in which she replied "I know I told them to wait a second." She then proceeded to walk over and grab another ticket to do another to go order while we still stood there. After finally giving up, we turned around to walk out and I asked the employee if we want our order made do we have to order online and she said " yeah if you want."This location is extremely rude and unprofessional and I recommend you use any other location. Crazy to lose 3 customers standing right in front of you because no one can stop what they're doing to take our order. read more

I have to say this is the most consistent Dunkin' I go to. There's one young girl who makes my drink and every time she does it's one of the most delicious coffees I've ever had. The bakery is blah, very typical Dunkin' fair but good when in a pinch. This Dunkin' is well kept and clean and depending on who's making your coffee can really make your day! The best part about all Dunkin's in my opinion is the app, it's super user friendly and the rewards are solid. Like today was national cold brew day, free cold brew with any purchase of an item! I ordered an ice dunkalate and i asked for no ice and when i received it the drink had ice in it and i had asked if they could make another one and they said they would have to charge me for that even though it was a small mistake it was on their part and they should of at least made one with no charge since they did make that mistake read more

It is a much better choice to go to the other Dunkin' in the Pat's Market Shopping Center. Most recently, I waited ten minutes on line to find that the espresso machine was broken, but that's the least of it. Every time I come here, the service is practically nonverbal and barely anyone ever acknowledges the customers' presences. The employees act bothered, and it makes for an awkward experience. A hallmark of good customer service, as well as a generally positive experience in any establishment, is interaction...which is not a concept here. read more

Dunkin' Donuts DOMINATES the donut scene here in New York Long Island & the NYC! VERY different from where I hail, as there's not much "Corporate America" in the West Coast donut realm. They're practically non-existent, as Mom & Pop Asian shops are the way we get our donut fix in Cali. After seeing Dunkin' Donuts, literally, EVERYWHERE WE WENT in the NYC, my young squires were influenced by the subliminals ("you want donuts... eat donuts... donuts yummy!" Gah!) and craving donuts every morning. I finally gave in & hit this East Islip spot one snowy morning. They are combined with Baskin Robbins so you can do the ice cream thang, too! Gotta admit, there was a bit of apprehension after reading C S.'s review. Hopefully C S. has been blessed with a full recovery. Nothing suspicious upon arrival this morning, and the staff has the typical New York gruffness you expect from anywhere 'round here. Got what we needed without issue and left promptly to continue to enjoy the snowfall. We got the DOZEN Donuts Box, to sweeten up the awesome day ahead of us. Nuthin' like ampin' up crazy kids! ;) The site of these things brought oohs & aahs, but, unfortunately, some unfinished donuts remained after breakfast. There was some degree of "oldness" to the donuts, like they've been sitting around for a while, even though I came in the morning. To compare another franchise, Krispy Kreme has a much better freshness to their donuts, even the ones that are not "HOT NOW" (NOT even fair to compare Krispy Kreme HOT NOW donuts!). No way this could compete with any of the independents in my neck of the woods, either. Definitely had better tasting donuts, BUT, around here, THIS is ALL THAT YOU GET. The only competition with Dunkin' Donuts, is ANOTHER Dunkin' Donuts :( Maybe the one in Bayshore is better? Uninspired stuff. By far my favorite Dunkin' Donuts! The manager, Ali, if phenomenal. After using the mobile app a few times, he recognized me and made sure to address me by name every time I come in. My iced coffee is always made perfectly. The entire crew is incredibly friendly, and efficient. I go out of my way to go to this Dunkin' because of how great they are. Horrible customer service. The young lady with dark brown hair took about 12 minutes to make a cappuccino blast because it was urgent that she spoke to her friend once she came in. When we finally got the drink my sister politely said thank you and she gave a rude face and looked away. Why are YOU mad? We are the ones who waited. EVERYTIME i order on the on the go app, i order my lattee with an extra shot of espresso....they CHARGE me for that....and EVERYTIME there is NO extra shot. this morning i ordered...and i walked out with a cup of milk and caramel. I tried calling the location to get a refund because now i am at work and cannot leave; and THEY WONT ANSWER THE PHONES. I have NEVER dealt with as many incompetent people in my whole life...i can only imagine how many people they do this to every day...its not fair to pay over 5 dollars for a god damn coffee when YOUR NOT GETTING WHAT YOUR PAYING FOR....dont even get me started on the spoiled milk problem there was a couple months back. This is one of the many reasons i do not go to this location. The location at Islip Terrace is 1,000% better...its cleaner, the people are nicer, and they ACTUALLY MAKE YOUR COFFEE THE WAY YOU ORDER IT. never going back to this location again. read more

Warning to any customer entering this store - there is only one door to the parking lot. There is no other door out. This is important because the CVS drugstore in this same strip mall is open 24/7, and that attracts really strange people, with trouble on their troubled minds. I used to be a daily customer at this coffee shop, until I was harassed, threatened and then assaulted in this store 2 weeks ago by a strange woman who was truly mentally ill. She took offense that I knocked on the bathroom door 3 times over the 20 minutes that she was in there - and she told me that she was going to teach me a lesson by hurting me bad. She called me every curse in the book, then pretended that I had done something to her that made her look bad in front of her 2 kids - who were clearly already traumatized by being around her cursing and her threats. I begged the staff behind the counter over and over to call 911 to prevent the assault, and they just ignored me. I ended up in the emergency room with back pain due to the assault - and I will never enter this store again because of the total lack of any response by the staff to a serious incident happening right in front of them, and also due to the dangerous layout - if someone blocks the very narrow aisle and threatens to harm you, then they do attack, you are on your own because there is no back door, no other way out and no help from the counter staff. Police response takes about 10 minutes once you dial 911, so once someone starts to attack you in this store, you have to be able to defend yourself for that amount of time to survive. The staff do nothing, they don't even ask if you need help - they just stand there and look into space. So be warned - if you enter this store, you do so at your own risk. You are totally alone in here if a mentally ill person threatens and assaults you in front of the counter as you try to escape them. The other store in East Islip has 2 doors at either end of the store - you can get out of there if you need to to avoid being beaten, and the staff at least acknowledges your existence. My advice is to go to the other coffee shop in East Islip near the Rite Aid, and never enter this store by the CVS drugstore. No coffee is worth the risk of being assaulted in this store. read more
