I have been coming here for years. It is an organic farm that offers fresh seasonal produce, in additional to other items like local honey made at the farm, sauces, jams, fresh baked goods, and dried items such as pastas and soaps. All vegetables are grown right there in the field. You can purchase your fall mums and pumpkins in the autumn, as well as all of your organic seedlings during the spring. I plant a garden at my house every year and use the seedlings from here and the garden always does well. The items are very reasonably priced and you always get quality. The farm offers events such as baking classes or bee keeping tutorials. They also offer hay rides and pumpkin picking during the fall season. Mike is a blast! Be prepared for knowledgable and friendly service, with a lot of dry humor thrown in. Mike is very passionate about what he does and he has built the farm up so much since I have been coming. Ask him anything about the food, how to cook it, how to grow it, he will surely help you. He advises me every year on my garden, how much to plant, where it should go, how far apart to plant, etc. If you buy any type of fruit or vegetable, it is worth supporting a local business and purchase fresh, healthy, organic food rather than at the local supermarket where you don't know what you're getting. We are so lucky to have this wonderful CSA organic farm practically right in our own backyard! I have been coming here with my daughter for many years and we have never been disappointed. All the produce is always amazing , fresh ,no pesticides ,delicious and reasonably priced! I really look forward to tomato season and his are the best !The owner Mike is very friendly , he always makes me laugh with has dry sense of humor ! He is very passionate and knowledgeable about organic farming . He even explained to my daughter how to set up her own organic garden! Mike makes and sells his own honey, yummy! He also has fresh eggs ,dairy , baked goods ,flowering plants and a variety of homemade organic items . HIGHLY RECOMMEND, Outstanding farm! My family and I have been on the lookout for a new organic farm and this one popped up. Once we arrived we were greeted & there was a wide variety of plants, veggies, teas, even soaps and candles to pick from, everything was more than reasonably priced and healthy looking. There's a path around the farm to walk, and see some bee keeping. My family and I purchased some herbs, potatoes, onions, kale, and strawberries to plant. The owner even told us how to plant the strawberries and how they'll grow. Very lovely, cannot wait to come back. read more

Organics Today, is a great place to go for fresh fruits and vegetables. It's the best kept secret in East Islip! Today, me and my family went pumpkin picking. Although it's a small plot of land, it was perfect and very COVID-19 compliant too. As soon one enters, we are greeted by the polite staff. Customers kept their distance very respectfully, and is also very family-friendly and family-oriented. My niece and nephew enjoyed the brief but pleasant hayride. The decor is very much eith the barn/farmhouse style;which I really liked. The admission is free, all you pay is what you pick from the field, and of course, the hayride is only $3 per person. They have a small shop where one can get seasonal pastries and beverages. My mom got 6 apple cider donuts. We purchased several pumpkins. Overall, I do recommend this place for seasonal fruits and vegetable picking, if you prefer things on a small scale. Next visit, will be either spring or summer. Bought a fantastically large and tasty head of lettuce and super fresh eggs. Mint plants are fragrant and are thriving in the garden. What a delight. Returned the following week to purchase specially seasoned 7 year soil and worm casings which perked up the garden almost immediately. Owner was friendly and super knowledgeable. read more

So we were there today and will definitely never ever ever ever be back. The man in the front taking money says hello them immediately just asks for money. $3 per person to enter, 0.75lb per pumpkin, glass all over the ground, bees everywhere, mosquitoes bite like crazy, roasted corn was raw, staff behind the counter not so friendly, you can walk in and out in 5 minutes. No music, no ambiance, no fun experience. We had friends meet us there and what a disappointment. Not worth the drive not worth the money not worth the time. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. I understand that this is probably a family farm so the $3 per person I understand but everything was ridiculously priced. $2 for a cider donut? We didn't have one after the corn was uncooked. We went we saw and we know never to go back. read more

Favorite farmers market! Always fresh produce, most delicious honey I've had and Mike is fantastic! Everyone is helpful that I've met there. This is one of the few farms left on Long Island and it's organic. Organics Today Farm is here today and hopefully forever. It's really small but it exists! They have raw honey from their honey bees too. Pick your own organic pumpkins! Only 75 cents a pound. We got 3 medium organic pumpkins for only $8 total. Farmer is nice at first, then slowly starts to show you his true selfish motives. His honey is very low quality honey and the csa literally sells d'artagnan meat that you can find at stop and shop. Fruit is way overpriced too. Don't recommend coming here at all not worth the hour drive. read more

Went to check out this farm today. I live on the east end of Nassau county, so it is one of only two organic farms that are remotely close to me. The farm was easy to find and was only a few minutes off the parkway exit. The farm stand was small, but had a nice variety of good looking produce. The tomatoes were absolutely beautiful looking. I can't wait to try them and my kids raved about the honey sticks the whole ride home! read more

I was very excited when I first came to this farm but after a few trips I didnt have the best experience with the head farmer. When I was checking out the crops and slightly strayed from the path to get a closer look I was harshly told to stay off. I apologized and told him I didnt mean to offend him I was just admiring and I was told that it was "his farm"...as if I claimed otherwise... I realize the amount of work put in to a farm but was turned off to be scolded like I was a child when I was a continuous paying customer and meant no harm. I let that go but realized this seems to be his normal mood as I saw him direct and then scold one of his volunteers - a person giving their time and looked like a very hard worker doing hard work in the hot sun! On top of which, I wasnt impressed with the fact that cigarette smoking seemed to be of the norm during business hours and not even slightly hidden. Its hard to rely on the organic label if the farmer is seemingly smoking quite a lot on the property. All that aside, the veggies looked pretty nice but based on that guys attitude I would prefer to go elsewhere. read more
