The lady at the counter was really helpful with describing the different cupcakes and what was in them. I tried the chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake, which was absolutely amazing. There was chocolate chips inside the yellow cake and had a really delicious buttercream on top. There was also actual cookie dough on the top and inside the buttercream. We really enjoyed it! 9/10 rating for me. The second cupcake we tried my fiancé really loved the most which was cherry cheesecake. There was cherries inside the cake, and that was also delicious. 8.5/10 Both cupcakes came out to be a little over eight dollars total, but they run different specials every day and they also sell many other bakery items that looked amazing.

She offered two donut holes, one yeast and one cake. She reels you in fast. I ordered glazed, chocolate frosted, and caramel glazed. They were no joke. Since I am not big on gourmet donuts, I didn't buy any of the fruit frosted donuts or any specialty pastry. The ones that I bought were good enough. I read some reviews about the prices. They post the prices prominently on the menu. It's just that you may get lured in with the sales pitch and forget the price associated with the purchase. Other than that, the donuts are indeed good.

If you're from the South Side, chances are you already know about Weber's. And if you don't…read more.. start driving there now. Except on Mondays when they're closed. I've learned my lesson. Everything here is good. Coffee cakes, muffins, donuts, and cookies. I genuinely don't think we've brought home anything that has disappointed. But the cakes are where Weber's has us completely loyal. Our go-to every single time is the chocolate cake with fresh strawberries. The only dangerous part about Weber's is going in for one thing and walking out with half the bakery. Their holiday desserts are always great and fitting to the occasion too! A South Side staple for a reason and one of those places we'll continue coming back to again and again.
