First off, the staffing was extremely weird. I'm sorry, but in this day and age, it's just weird to have only one manager who is a man and a seemingly all female floor. I mean honestly. It's weird. Putting that aside, the hiring manager clearly had a favorite. She was laughing with him, until his friends came into the store. Then, once he ignored her, she went into the back- to NOT help all the other hard working girls on the floor. Again, weird. I try to give the benefit of the doubt when people stare at me, but this time in my life I tend to do so less. I have cancer. Don't like seeing a sickly person? Think I look silly with my head cap? Suck it up keep your opinion to yourself and do your job, not flirt with your boss. Obviously I have no proof she was doing that, but I asked two others around me "am I crazy? Was she looking at me weird?" And they seemed to agree. Overall, horrific vibe from the manager I saw. Yesterday when I went, there was a massive selection and the staff was overwhelmingly patient and kind. It was so weird to have such a different experience this morning. I did note that there were only females working yesterday as well. Service was fast and efficient. No lines = always a plus! The interior was clean and welcoming, with comfy couches and wiped-down tables and chairs. They didn't have the peeps donut but still had plenty of options around 5pm today. The cashier hand-delivered my caramel iced coffee to an otherwise inattentive me. It wasn't too sweet, tasted awesome, and I wanted another! The only real issue is one that the business cannot control: it's at the corner of a very busy intersection right by I-70 and on 97/Georgia Avenue. No crosswalks in ANY direction so you're forced to jaywalk if you're across the street. No stars docked. I'm sure that with all the reviews, the owners are not paying attention to the lack of good service at this location. Just to share my experience, I placed a very simple order, 2 Cappuccino's. 1 regular Iced coffee and a Latte, which are basic drinks, all done through the app and 10 minutes ahead. I get to the spot, and 2 of them are made, which was good. I waited 20 minutes for them to make me the other missing drinks after having to ask where they were. I understand younger staff typically tends to miss things due to lack of attention, but come on now, needs to improve. I will drive to the next Dunkin rather than come back to this location. read more

MANAGERS ARE YOU READING THESE REVIEWS??? I use the app for this location and it's 99.9% a guarantee that when you go inside your food will not be there. Then you will spend at LEAST a half hour afterwards waiting for them to make your food. And then after that you will most likely still not have the correct order. This has happened over & over and over again. Today was the last time I will go to this location. Just awful. I wouldn't be surprised if this place tanks when the DD in Lisbon opens up. Slow service, where it seemed that they were more focused on mopping the area behind the counter than filling my order for a coffee. One kid out front working the register and three more somewhere in the back poured out later. Not exactly customer-focused. But the coffee was the usual DD quality stuff and my old fashioned donut was just fine and their wifi worked well in the dining area. I asked for an allergy for my kids, one person gave me a blank look then got their manager....the manager said they had "healthy" spinach wraps...I clarified that it is allergies I am concerned about (e.g. nuts) and got a blank stare. I don't understand why this Dunkin is reviewed so poorly! I am a regular customer and the staff is always exceptional, and drinks/food is served quicky. I am from the west coast and really miss getting the coffee and donuts. I think the previous posts caused a change to the service because I was surprised at the low rating. I was telling my husband what I wanted while walking up to the line and the person behind the counter started my coffee before we even 'officially' ordered. My husband ordered his coffee and other coffee was done before we were able to pay. The service was outstanding, which is why I gave such a high rating. The cashier was very personable and figured we were from out of town. The coffee and donuts are pretty consistent since it is a chain. not sure who the new hires are or if there's new management now but something is to blame for the awful service, slow service, and incorrect orders. This isn't based on one visit by one person. but many visits by two of us in our household over the last month. I think today was finally the day to write a review because one employee specifically stood out. To the taller, late teens/early 20s male in the flannel shirt, you are the rudest, laziest employee I've seen in a while and that says a lot considering the workforce today. This was my go to place because it was so close to home. My boys and I would stop in every Sunday morning, not any more. I will drive out of my way to another Dunkin just to not go to this place. I have a physical reaction to caffeine and so I order decaf. I still want coffee even if I can't have the real stuff. On multiple occasions I have been served regular in place of decaf. These people have no idea that they could seriously hurt someone by doing that. Thankfully I had my medication with me. The coffee is pretty terrible at this location anyway. I kept coming thinking it would get better. The donuts at this place always seem stale. Like they aren't as fresh, could just be me. The kicker here is that I have ordered here so much you would think they would get the order right. I order ahead so I don't have to stand in line and they are never ready and for some reason I am always waiting for the donuts. I would understand if I had to wait for wraps but the donuts???? This morning I placed an online order, the avocado toast wasn't toasted (ok...I can get past that one), donuts were forgotten and my $4.99 chai tea was a cup of coffee. Umm, not only is this bad customer service but why would you stop preparing my drink to go in the storage area. This Dunkin' Donuts is really struggling to keep up with the amount of people coming in. The woman making the food kept skipping orders that had been waiting longer according to the screens. A man even left today saying, they lost his business. My order was skipped as well and I had a simple order of two wake up wraps. I would highly suggest to the owner to bring in help to train the team properly. Maybe from Mount Airy? They do an excellent job keeping up. We stopped here on our way through the area headed to Gettysburg. It was right around noon on a Sunday. The place was poppin'. Lots of large groups of teenagers. Donut wall was stocked. We ordered 2 drinks, 2 donuts, and 2 breakfast sandwiches and were overall very pleased with everything. The seating area outside was very nice, clean, and had lots of shade. I was told they are al out of iced tea and no one could make any more. I thought they were joking, but they weren't. I always come to this Dunkin' donuts and the customer service has never been an issue to me before. However, this afternoon I came in to order 2 iced coffees. Molly (a red head girl), one of the workers took my order and I had to repeat the drink orders 3 times, which I had no issue doing because drink orders can be confusing at times. I paid for my drinks and waited for them to be made. One of the drink orders (a medium caramel iced coffee with oat milk) was messed up and Molly put it in as a original iced coffee with just oat milk. I noticed the mistake when I received my drinks and got her attention and said that I asked for caramel in it. She looked at me and completely ignored me and the other woman working had to talk to me and give the drink to Molly for her to fix. Molly then proceeded to snap her arm back with an attitude and raised her voice very rudely at me saying "Do you want 5 extra swirls with that?!" because my first drink order that i placed before that was a medium caramel iced coffee with 5 caramel swirls and coconut milk. I did not appreciate that at all, especially since I work at a restaurant, customer service is always a #1 priority and someone like that should not be working in customer service. She usually takes my orders and her being confused by my drink orders is a regular occurrence and I wanted to see if this is a common issue with anyone else. I'm very disappointed by my experience today but the rest of the staff is fantastic! read more

There was only one person working there today at 7:25 am. That's right, one freakin person at a DD at 7:25 am! Did a mobile order but forgot to order drinks. I was third in line and didn't get out of there until 7:39 am. Kids were late to school and now my Father of the Year nomination is in doubt. She made me a new one with no issues. I got to my car and the coffee was still wrong. I checked my receipt and that was correct. Since there are very few quick, nearby options for coffee and a quick bite to eat in this town, I was somewhat excited when I saw that there would be a Dunkin' Donuts taking residence at the long-unoccupied space at the corner. Since they opened for business a couple months ago, I have visited the establishment 4 times - today being the 4th (and last) time. On my first visit (a couple days after they opened for business) I encountered a line of more than a few customers, and a lot of confusion behind the counter. There were 5 people working, but no one seemed to know what their individual tasks were. There was one person occasionally taking orders, and a few others who looked like they weren't even sure if they should be behind that counter. Unfortunately, one of the people in my line of sight had a manager title on his name tag. It was pretty disappointing. However, being a reasonable person, I stuck it out and endured the frustration with everyone else, knowing that these were all new employees in a new establishment, and there would undoubtedly be a certain learning curve until they found their groove in their new positions. On my second visit a couple weeks later, it was almost the same scene, only with fewer customers and fewer employees behind the counter. I remained disappointed and became less hopeful that things would improve. On my third visit (about 2 months after they opened their doors) I walked in and, with only one other customer already waiting for her order, I figured there was no way things couldn't go smoothly this time. I'm sad to say that my assessment was incorrect. After placing my order for just a medium black coffee and then moving to the end of the counter to retrieve it, I stood and watched 3 people behind the counter (with no other customers in the place) proceed to chat, wander into the back, wander back out, chat some more... After watching in disbelief for about 3 minutes, I asked if someone would be kind enough to pour the coffee that I had already paid for. When I walked in today, I had no expectations of either good or quick service anymore. But one expectation that I did have was that a donut shop would have some donuts. Instead, I found that they only had about a handful each of 4 different kinds of donuts. I live less than a half of a mile from this shop but, from now on, when I want to go to a donut shop I will get in my car and drive the 9 mile round trip to the next nearest Dunkin' Donuts in Woodbine. The inconvenience of having to pass one so close to the house to get there far outweighs the frustration of stepping foot in the Cooksville franchise again. read more
