Poor customer service by the young, female "manager." My order was incorrect and I went back to get the right order. I was handed my item without a bag. I then asked for another cream cheese and the manager had a fit and told me she gave me one earlier with the incorrect order. No sincere apology for me having to go back to get the right item, but then she made a big deal of me having another cream cheese. SMH. I have been shopping at this location for years. The employees and manager were always very friendly and efficient and very good at moving the crowds along. The service at this location was wonderful...... until late last year when a lot of current employees were moved to another store and now the service has become very frustrating. Wrong products in bags and long waits in line as well. The quality of their food products, especially the muffins was always hit or miss. I used to ask for a fresh muffin from the back to try and get a fresh one but for the last (6) months even the goods from the back have been consistently stale and hard. They do not bake at this location so sometimes the baked products are many days old. I need to find a Dunkin store that can sell and deliver a good fresh product. DO NOT come here. My husband stopped in for breakfast and later noticed he was charged $70+ dollars. He went back and was told that a $60 gift cards were "accidentally" charged to his card instead of somebody else's. How does this happen? We stopped in on Christmas Day! There was a man sitting watching something on his phone. He got up and asked what I wanted. I told him one order and he said anything else and walked away to make the 1st drink. So, I wasn't sure I should say my other drink orders. So, I told him what I wanted and he walked away again to get those drinks and I finally ordered my last order. I was hesitant if he even heard me, but I did get my drinks correctly. He did end up charging me for an extra drink when I checked my receipt. I went back in and told him and he refunded me and apologized. Check your receipts. read more

I love all the workers! They make your coffee just right, and know your order after your 3rd time around. I have been going here for years, it is my favorite Dunkin on the South Side. They do get annoyed when you go in there and it's crowded and you're not ready to order or you're on your phone slowing down the line. But trust me the majority of customers get annoyed with people like you too... Its a simple menu there's no reason to take 10 minuets to decide what to get. Also the reason they are strict with kids is because a couple years back highschoolers would go in there and get drunk and smoke in the bathroom. Worst Dunkin I've been to in my LIFE!!! All of the food is always very good at this Dunkin. No complaints when it comes to the grub, but the service is appalling. I come to this Dunkin regularly, and I have witnessed kids tormented by a server named Kareem. He is the most rude person I have ever met in my life. He one time lectured a group of three kids for a good amount of time just for ordering at separate times. On another occasion I watched him kick a group of about seven kids out for talking too loud although they were talking talking at reasonable volume. He claimed they're loud talking was giving him a migraine. Seriously screw you buddy; you should treat kids as equals to adults. So this place has the worst customer service I've ever seen. I've been going to this dunkin' for a year. Every work day. I've actually gotten used the horrible customer service. I've since realized I don't have to. I was insulted, talked horribly to, been witness to other customers being insulted and treated horribly. Insulted. If they don't care to lose a regular customer, they won't care about yours. I'm pretty sure they own the other Dunkin on 98th and western so I've boycotted all of them. Workers here are super rude. Make sure to know your order before you go up. Forget about asking any questions. Seriously just find a different dunkin. Or a Starbucks. The one exception is one of the workers - Kareem who is very polite and will remember faces and orders. read more

The drinks ordered were good. This review is for their service. My friend and I stopped in about 1030 to have a late night girl talk and a cup of coffee, we ordered or drinks and thought we would be hang in the store for no more than 10 minutes to talk. The owner/cashier stated that he was closing and the lobby was closed. NO problem so we sat outside and chatted at on the make shift patio. FYI, the store closes at 11 pm but the cashier had really shut it down by 1045. If you are going closing time be aware that it is carry out only. read more

I've started hitting this location on my way to work. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a drive thru, but I don't mind going in. The employees started recognizing me and my drink right away, and I find everyone to be very friendly. The service is quick, and I just love the tables of regulars hanging out each morning. Not many Dunkins have powdered donuts anymore. Stopped for coffee and had the 2 donut "special" when I saw they had powdered. Went to my van and the first donut was horrible. Nowhere near Dunkin quality. Decided to let them know. Walked back in, waved to a manager looking guy, and gave him the other donut. All I said was "These were very bad". Didn't even ask him for a refund, just turned around and left. Got in my van, and I see he's walking out the front door. I'm backing out to leave, but I roll my passenger window down, and he says "what wrong with donut?". I tell him it was soggy and old. He says " we don't make donuts, they ship to us." Donuts there are okay but their service is ABSOLUTELY horrible. the cashiers hardly speak English and also I walk home with my friends from school and it's cold here in Chicago so sometimes we walk in and buy something and just sit there for a minute or two and the manager is just watching us and one day he told us he didn't like us because we were black. they said nothing to anyone else because they were white. the customers are nice and they don't judge us but the people who works there do. boycott this place it's so TERRIBLE. read more

I have the Dunkin Donuts app, so I am able to create an order and then go pick it up (for those who do not know about the app). I was volunteering for an event, so I needed an early and quick breakfast before the event. I placed an order for 2 coffees, a bagel, hashbrowns, and a breakfast sandwich for a friend and I. The order was placed 30 min after Dunkin Donuts opened, and then I went to go pick up the order 20 min later. When I got there, the owner or manager told me that it was too early to make food and he was not going to give me my order. Since when does Dunkin Donuts have particular times they are willing to serve food??? Even though I had already paid for my order through the app, I was told that I was not getting any of my food nor did I receive a refund. My girlfriend and I went to pick up some late breakfast from this dunkin donuts around noon on Saturday, March 21. I am absolutely mortified by the way we were treated!! We were totally scrutinized and harassed over our order. The employee, I believe his name was Karim, judged us for ordering latte lites with mocha stating that these were "fake lites" because we were getting "something sweet" added to them (referring to the mocha). He went on to ask me how many pumps of mocha did I want, I nonchalantly said a couple. He shook his head in disapproval and came back to the register to take the rest of our order. When I continued with donuts he scuffed about our latte lites some more then I asked for ketchup with my order of hash-browns and he continued to make remarks on how absurd it was for us to order something with the word "lite". And, if that wasn't enough harassment, when he gave us our "fake lites" he went as far to say, "I'm going to stop joking with you girls, but summer is approaching! Swimsuit season!!" I'm sorry, but no one has the right to be that ignorant to a paying customer, who was simply trying to order some late breakfast for her and her gf. This incredibly poor service has left such a bad taste in my mouth for someone that's a daily dunkin customer in the downtown Chicago area, I think I just might move my business to Starbucks at least I feel confident that I won't be harassed for being a paying customer. read more

Since Dunkin' Donuts is a corporation and provides the same product at all of their locations it would be fair to say that my 1 star rating has nothing to do with their product. My rating has everything to do with one employee and after reading the post below I am not the only one that feels that this location has poor quality in staff in which I personally will never step foot in this location again. It's ashame because the older husband and wife that work there in the morning are very nice people but the employee who is Moroccan (Male in his late 40's with longer curly black hair to try to cover his growing crown bald spot) is a thief.
