I have never had such an incredibly rude experience at Dunkin Donuts until this. My daughter really wanted this new Charlie drink And I took her to 3 different locations to find this drink which also had offers on the Dunkin' Donuts app. Disappointing enough none of these locations had a Charlie drink but this one did. I pulled up to the drive-thru and I asked if they had the Charlie drink and he said they did so I asked can I order a Charlie drink and add extra sugar then he said if he adds extra sugar it isn't a Charlie drink and I told him that would be fine I'll pay for the extra sugar if it's a problem with not one hint of an attitude in my voice more of relief knowing that they had the Charlie drink there. Out of nowhere he says you know what it's not a Charlie drink if I add sugar and I don't feel like serving you today so you can leave because I'm not making you anything and that was a complete shock to me and my daughter sitting in the car listening. I asked for Matcha Latte on GrubHub. I noticed at the top of the foam when I first got it, it had chunks of matcha, so I knew it wasn't mixed properly. In addition to that, I get to the bottom and it's a huge blob of matcha powder. I am sad to say I will never patronize this establishment again due to their poor customer service. This morning I ordered multiple coffees and multiple sandwiches only to get home and see that none of the sandwiches were correct. While this was frustrating I asked other family members if they were able to work with them and they said yes. I however, could not eat mine as it had cheese and I can't eat cheese. I figured I would stop back by on my way to work (this was all within a 5 min period as I live down the street). When I returned I waited in line and when I finally made it to the counter I explained what happened. I truly thought it would be a quick resolution as I patronize this establishment multiple days and week and multiple times a day (I am an educator and and a mother to an infant, and a household of 5). However, I was very wrong. The woman at the register refused to provide me with another sandwich as I did not return with the incorrect sandwich, even insinuating that I left the sandwiches intentionally to defraud them of their $3. Don't get me wrong I understand they encounter different people with different motives on a daily...but I come here often, always polite (because I believe in manners), always ordering multiple items (again, household size), and I was literally just here and only returning because of errors made of the part of the store. Where was the customer service? Why was the response to ridicule, insinuate, and yell? (I did eventually raise my voice as well- in all transparency) Why are certain "policies", which I didn't see posted, in place in certain communities? Most business people see the sense is replacing a sandwich and showing value to a frequent customer, but instead the manager (who wasn't there to see his employee's behavior and words) refused to speak with me and waved me off as if my concerns were insignificant. On Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 8:08 pm I ordered two drinks in the drive thru. One was a small mocha blast made with chocolate ice cream and a medium strawberry refresher extra sweet lite ice. my second drink wasn't made properly. I asked for it to be fixed. The manager refused to fix the order and hurled insults at me. I am not happy with the treatment I received and I feel robbed and cheated. Robbed of my money and time and cheated out of an excellent customer service experience. Something needs to be done about businesses not being consistent with excellent customer service. There was a fly flying around all the food. It took extremely long for my food to come. Once I finally ate it, I became sick.

On March 15, 2022, I went through the drive-thru to order a milk shake. My order was incorrect when the girl in the window gave it to me so I asked them to correct it. They were rude and disrespectful when I brought it to their attention! The guy in the window yelled at me screaming, "I needed to learn how to order!" I then respectfully requested that they give me my money back as I did not even want the item at that point. The guy who was in the back who had yelled at me came out again and reached his arm out the window tapping on the glass at a sign that said "No refunds". They would not give me a refund. How do you yell at a paying customer and be so horribly disrespectful when the customer brings a mistake to your attention? They give ABSOLUTELY horrible customer service. I purchased a tomato pesto sandwich and vanilla coffee. After 2 bites of the sandwich I knew something wasn't right so I flipped the sandwich over and found that only one side was toasted and the coffee did not have enough vanilla swirl. I walked back to location and reported the issue. I'm never rude when speaking to others and calmly explained why I was returning. The cashier looked at the sandwich, passed it to the manager, then passed to someone else. They called me to the counter to get the same RE-toasted sandwich. I asked the manager why he would give me something back that they have all just passed around and why even put a sandwich that I ate off of back into the oven instead of re-making it--UNSANITARY. The manager(Manny), got angry and told me that I always complain and that he was "tired of me and sick of it". I had been going to that location at least 3 days per week for 10 years bc it's the only one in walking distance. I, usually, would only purchase a cappuccino blast on each visit, but would ask them to re-make it at times if not made correctly. They would try to give a shake type drink that had the consistency of water...NO. For a $6 small drink and a tip...yes, make it correctly because I'm sure not just tossing it in the trash whenever YOU get it wrong. No worries after today...I will NOT be back! I spend money where I'm appreciated as a customer and this place is not it!! ZERO STARS FOR THIS LOCATION. Terrible customer service by both drive thru worker (Evelia) and manager (Havi) if I heard his name right . I placed a order for a $6.49 Sundae that had 50% off on their app. After paying and looking at the receipt. I asked the cashier why did it take $2 off and not 50% and her response was I don't know, I just scan it and became very defensive as if I said or did something wrong. This location is suitable when you need to eat something and you're right there. Within the past year I've started ordering the same exact thing from this location to ensure I didn't have any extra problems when I was trying to get to work in the morning. A couple times in a row this was a fail. One time I was too tired and yes I should have been paying attention, but I was overcharged. The next day I went in and demanded my money back with several receipts to prove that I get the exact same thing every time. Most of the staff looked at me crazy, so even though I don't really like confrontation I openly pointed out who rang me up that day and the person who usually rings me up. I got my money back then. It seems like one guy was so distracted looking at me he wasn't paying attention to the order I got that day smh. After this I went back one more time. Order the same thing, this time I was upset because after eating my sandwich, my drink was cold and tasted horrible. I was already waaayyys away from this location to turn around. I swear it had to be the wrong drink all together. I knew they messed up because usually driving from that location, by the time I get around the Museum of Science and Industry my drink is still hot and ready. I decided to stop torturing myself. I now just make my own breakfast in a timely fashion, or load my Starbucks card and head there. The Hispanic male who identified himself as the manager but refused to give me his name or the owner's name, called me a liar and told me that I could have done something to it to make it take that way. I should not be surprised with the low reviews of this store. I have frequent this location several times because they are close to home and they always get my order correct. Well, today was a complete different day then the others. I had a horrible experience at this Dunkin Donuts restaurant. I had an encounter with Javier M because they got my order wrong. I never had a problem because my order is always right and it's always the same thing. I ordered a medium iced coffee with French vanilla swirl, cream, no sugar and two egg and cheese wraps. When I got to the window, the cashier gave me a hot coffee with 3 creams with French vanilla swirl. I told her that is not what I ordered Javier comes to the window and says to me that I always cause a problem whenever I come to the store. Because of his comment, I tossed the bag back to the drive-thru cashier and drove off. I went back to the store 10 minutes later through the drive-thru informed them that I am back for my medium iced coffee with French vanilla swirl. I asked could I get a refund instead. He told me that I could get both. When I got to the window I apologized for my behavior and told him I know how it is working at a fast food restaurant; I worked at Burger King and Target and expressed that to Javier. I told Javier that I would not order a hot coffee because I dont drink hot coffee so I know that I ordered a iced coffee. He begins to yell and got very irate with me hitting the counter with his hands, turns red and gets loud talking over me (at this point we are both talking and he is not letting me talk) because I....as he says I threw my food at the drive-thru cashier. I told him I already apologized for doing that and he told me I didn't apologize. The drive-thru cashier was standing on the side of him and I told her that I already apologized for my behavior and will apologize to her again. I asked her will she accept my apology and she said yes. I also asked her do I frequent the restaurant often and has she and I had a conversation about me getting a card because I come to the store a lot. She said yes. While I am I'm talking to her Javier is still yelling at me telling me that I am on camera and it shows me throwing the bag of food at her and I was wrong for that. I told him I am not talking to him and I was having a conversation with the cashier whom I established a relationship with because I come often. I told Javier that the customer is always right and I know about customer service and I will be calling corporate regarding my experience today. As I drive away, Javier is still yelling at me about how rude I was for throwing the food at the cashier. Because of my horrible experience, I will NOT be going back to this restaurant. It is 5 minutes from my house and now I will have to drive further to get my iced coffee which won't be a problem. I'll start by saying that Dunkin is my favorite coffee franchise, and I've been a customer for years. However, I received the worst service that I ever had at a restaurant in my life at this location: 8753 S. Stony Island. The server at the drive thru window was highly disrespectful to me over a misunderstanding. I could not hear him through the intercom and asked him to repeat himself to be sure that he heard my order correctly. He became irrationally irate and rudely told me to drive to the window and then hurled accusations at me and claimed that I was being "racist" to him because I could not understand him through the crackling intercom! It was completely ridiculous since this crazed employee attempted to further escalate the situation instead of trying to understand that 1. His voice was muffled through the microphone; 2. He was speaking in a low, barely audible tone; 3. The audio was breaking up on the intercom. Dunkin needs to focus on hiring actual professionals with customer service skills that are trained with working with the public in a respectful manner! I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but this employee is an embarrassment to your franchise and needs to be evaluated! Starbucks, though pricy, has far better staff members that are respectful and knowledgeable of what it means to be a customer service specialist and have gone through diversity training! I just purchased a large pineapple coolata and paid $5.50. Left the drive thru to find that the cup they gave me was dirty, it had brown stuff all around the rim of the cup and something floating in it. I returned back to the drive thru in less than 5 minutes and told them I was just there and they gave me a dirty cup. the guy said what do I mean a dirty cup, I explained the cup is dirty. When I got to the Window I showed him the cup and he said the cup wasn't dirty something was just stuck on the rim and he proceeded to use his finger nail to scrape it off and tried to hand the cup back to me saying that they don't give refunds really nasty to me but he will give it to me this once. I have been to this location a lot. I am a dunkin donuts regular. Getting breakfast or coffee from this location was a disappointment one too many times. My hash browns were cold several times, stale or not cooked all the way. My iced coffee wasn't made properly. There were times it was too sweet and not enough coffee or coffee with no creamer and not enough sweetener. I took my drink back one time and they gave me the exact same one I returned. By far, the most disgusting coffee I've EVER had and Dunkin' Donuts coffee is my absolute fav! I'll get back to the coffee in a sec but let me start with the poor set-up of this location. The store's drive-thru is so awkwardly designed that if more than 2 cars are in the drive-thru then the remaining cars are dangerously in a holding pattern on Stoney Island, one of the busiest streets in Chicago. I was in the drive-thru line for almost 10 minutes and there were only 3 cars in front of me. Back to the coffee...I ordered a medium hazelnut coffee extra, extra. I order the same thing every time I got to DD and it always come out perfectly until today. There was WAY too much hazelnut flavoring to the point where I couldn't even drink it. It was entirely too sweet and I actually like my coffee sweet. There was no number on the receipt or online anywhere to call about the issue. If I wasn't on my way to work I would've turned right back around and had them remake it but that would've made me late. Typical establishment on the south side as opposed to a reputable chain. A coffee shop without wi-fi. Only certain hours the door is open, yet it's set in the neighborhood where people can walk. Advertised products not available. Slow, very slow service, doesn't matter how many people are working. Sandwiches are microwaved and therefor the bread is over cooked in some areas.
